ABOUT UNIVERSITY The Indian Institute of Technology (IITTP) is located in Tirupati, Andhrapradesh. In the first place, it is one of the institutes that impart quality engineering, science, and humanities education. Also, it is one of the 23 institutes imparting engineering education. Further, the institute offers scope for research-based education. The infrastructural facilities are also excellent. It is indeed a new institute that is functioning since the year 2015. HISTORY The Indian Institute of Technology, Tirupati, holds the status of institute of national importance. It is an autonomous institute under the Government of India. In this case, iit, Tirupati started functioning in 2015. It was functioning from the campus of Krishna Teja Engineering college. The institute was mentored by IIT, Madras. INFRASTRUCTURE Workshop and Laboratories The workshop and lab facilities for civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering branches are already functioning in the transit campus. However, you would have to use the workshops and labs in the temporary campus for the other branches. Medical Facilities In the first place, iiit, Tirupati provides excellent health services to its students. Hence the health center also has been set up at the IITTP transit campus.
