ABOUT UNIVERSITY Indian Institution of Information Technology, Bhopal, was founded in the year 2017, and it got approval from the MHRD. It is one of the IIIT of National Importance Institution within the country. This Institution was established with the objective of making available facilities for higher education, research, and training in various fields of IT. IIIT, Bhopal, is an autonomous university. And currently, it is functioning under the guidance of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. MANIT is also the mentoring institute of IIIT, Bhopal.

HISTORY As mentioned earlier, the IIIT, Bhopal, was constructed in the year 2017, and it is a new institution. The IIIT, Bhopal, is among the 19 new IIITs founded under one of the no-profit public-private partnership schemes organized by the MHRD. However, currently, it functions under the guidance or mentorship of the MANIT, Bhopal. The original campus of the IIIT, Bhopal, is under construction, and this Institution is functioning under MANIT, Bhopal. Additionally, it offers UGC-approved Btech programs and has three courses under it. Each department of the IIIT, Bhopal, has a capacity of 66 seats.

INFRASTRUCTURE Library The IIIT, Bhopal, and the Institute MANIT Bhopal share a wellestablished library together. It has a huge number of books, journals, and magazines, both in printed and electronic format. Additionally, the library is very spacious and divided into various sections. And it makes constant efforts to provide and improvise the resources for its students. SportsCurrently, IIIT, Bhopal, uses the sports facilities of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, which includes many sports facilities such as Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, TT, Carom, Kabaddi court, Carom, and so on. Additionally, it also has a gym and a sports complex. Recently IIIT, Bhopal installed a few indoor games such as TT, Chess, Carom, etc. Along with this, it also organizes sports fests.
INFRASTRUCTURE Medical facilitiesIn the first place, it is necessary for an educational institution to provide excellent health services to its students. Hence the IIM-L provides 24*7 medical facilities to all its faculty and students. The IIIT, Bhopal, is facilitated with the dispensary of MANIT, Bhopal.
HostelMoreover, the hostel facility of IIIT, Bhopal, is very good. It has all the basic & necessary facilities that students need, such as spacious rooms, mess (vegetarian), open grounds, gym, and hot water provision during winters. IIIT, Bhopal, offers excellent hostel facilities to all its girl students. However, only first-year boys are allowed to stay in boys hostels of IIIT, Bhopal, with single-room provisions. Along with these facilities, it has other necessary provisions such as banks and postal offices.
COURSES OFFERED Bachelors: Firstly, provide Courses in Arts, Science and Commerce and Education. In addition , The Science department have departments of Anthropology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Psychology, Geography . Rural Studies Electronics, Food and Nutrition, Microbiology, Statistics, Economics, Botany, Zoology, and Physiology. Department of Arts have Bengali, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, History, Political Science, Philosophy, Education, Sociology, Film Studies, and Journalism. And lastly the Commerce department have departments of Commerce and Management. Moreover, It is a course which students could take up after successful completion of their Higher Secondary (+2). In addition it provides degree in the duration of 3 years form in the given field of study. Arts, Science and Commerce.
COURSES OFFERED Masters : In Addition to Bachelor Degree the University also provide Master degree. Firstly, this higher degree is meant for researchers and students who want to gain in depth knowledge in a particular field. Secondly it is a great way to build up your portfolio. Also, to land up in a fulfilling job. Ph .D : Lastly, The University provides the highest level of education to scholars from Ph .D. programs in law.
