This brown fur coat styled with a stripey black and white jumper is a great mix of textures.

Who said you cant wear double denim, this image of Newcastle street style proves you can wear two shades of denim ‘double denim’.

I like how the coat falls of the shoulder and how it does not fasten so you can see the outfit underneath. This coat looks smart with her loafers too.

TRAINERS! COLOUR! NEED! Style and comfort what more could you need I need a pair of these!

On The Street Northumberland Street

I Love this idea of wearing more than one thing leather, this girl is wearing leather ankle boots, a leather pencil skirt and simple black bag, I think it looks trendsetting.

I love the neckline shape on the coat and the rolled up cigarette trousers it could only be paired with loafers like these ones. Love it!

Pastel just seems to be in all year and Every girl has and needs a pair of blank skinny jeans in her wardrobe for a causal day.

This outfit just screams out ‘unique’ mix match of coloured prints, styled with a pair of Dr Martens. Dare to be different?

So many fabric with this outfit; leather, wool, print etc but its been put together well. The tarten shirt & leather pants stood out to me the most.

This loose fitted coat is perfect for autumn season, she has styled it with a turtle neck jumper and a plain scarf.

BOLD, yellow, love it! paired with those blue pumps, great colour constrast. Adding splash into your wardrobe.

Love this cute black backpack, defenitely practiable for an every day bag and would look stylish with any outfit?

Scarfs are always popular in winter season, I really like this grey leopard print it even matches the little shirt and jumper, super cute.

Scarfs with a print were what I seen at the begininng of the year. I think the pink in her hair is more of a wow factor.

Love how this girl brightened up the winter with this smart red coat.

Why not try the festival look, tassle bag and leather biker jacket. This is something that can be worn all year, you cant go wrong.

Fur coats & a floppy hats is a must. It looks great with a pair of ankle boots and is defenitely suitable for a cold day.

This oversized knitted jumper dress would look great with a pair of jeans or tights.

“Shoes ‘WOW’ every girl needs a pair of those in thier life.”

“Who says you cant look stylish with lots of layers? This parker coat and printed scarf is made to look effortless.

this iconic tshirt with a pencil skirt looks creative with her tattoos on show.

This long scarf adds to the fur coat. The little brown vintage bag completes this look.

beanie hats are always good for a bad day hair day, casual look with a simple jacket and a pair of adidas joggers.

This smart look can be carried off day to night? remove the scarf and cardy and your ready to go!

Cultural photography I came across this street with different coloured houses in kentish town, London. I thought this was inspiring- On my placement I had the chance to go to ‘most curious wedding fair’. The set up was so interesting with the fabrics they used to create a bohemian theme. 12

Culture Images I took this photograph of the architecture inside of Kings Cross station because I really liked the lighting and how the sun reflected through the beams! This photograph helped me for my idea of the graphic prints with lines. #kingcross #archtecture #carnabystreet #creative #lightbulbs #lights #culture #buildings

UV PRINTS! Prints for Spring / Summer 16

The print ideas are inspired by my surroundings such as shop window displays to gate railings. I sketched some print ideas and then scanned them into photoshop I followed this up by using the repeat pattern tool to create a selection of my final prints. In one of my prints I made a paint spilage this concept was inspired from a piece of work at the baltic exhibtion I also used photoshop to change colours to match my neon graphic theme.

TYPOGRAPHY

The moodboard that I created is from my own typography added with a selection of fonts that I preffered. I initally researched typography and realised that the very bright coloured typography was my choice, I wanted it to make a statement and be eye catching. The words needed to stand out, to do this I changed the colours slightly in photoshop this then created a neon effect to tie in with this theme throughout the magazine. I experimented with fairy lights by writing neon and merged all my hand rendered typography together in photoshop.
