PREFACE
This is a series of ''Dystopia'' architecture theories. To build a utopia of the dystopia in utopia way. According to observed the phenomenon happened in modern people's life. In the thoery, I use the different way to interpret the definition of utopia and dystopia. In this world, we dream to have a Ideal world, , without pain, poverty, sadness, and crime. But, is the utopia the real utopia? Or a Sugar-coated poison? The story starts from the three images drawn by vewn. Deconstruct the image to a new story by the experience in the life. A tiny thing, a simple event, a sudden feeling in the heart could be important. And then the notation transfers the story and theory into architecture. Design the space experience, materials, and represent the special moment in a dystopia way. Subversion the experience in the past.

TO ESCAPE FROM FEAR
In the image, the cat and the people come to the bar to get drunk . They want to numbs themselves with alcohol. Because their heart feel sick, sad in too much pressure, maybe experience something really bad, and want to escape from the uncomfortable feellings. Every have their pain and fear. The fear comes when something unknown happened or beyond the control. The best way to face fear is constantly experience him, accept him, and face it honestly. In this architecture, I want to create a special atmosphere to let people experience fear and constantly experience as they get used to it.
NOTATION
TO ESCAPE FROM FEAR
This is a secret bar in Manhattan, New York. This is a place to heal the soul. It is full of unknown and mysterious atmosphere, which makes people afraid. There is no signal here, no WiFi to use. The barrier to the outside world makes people unable to distinguish between day and night, and also unable to recognize the passage of time. For modern people, it is a great fear that there is no mobile phone or signal. It seems that everything is out of control. In the bar to maintain a very low voice volume, the whole space can hear whispering voice and low jazz. Dim lights and high privacy pattern design allow people to remain anonymous, people can not identify each other, only through the microphone to communicate with people. Here you can feel free to chat with people, many times talking with strangers may be more comfortable than acquaintances. Their are also many seat for people to use , each seat are set up in a small room and all the seat are alone seat. Strangers meet in the bar In the small room by the voice they speak, there is a loudhailer to talk with strangers in random. The uncomfortable thing will change to be a good thing in this bar. The anoymous, dark, no signal make people anxiety original, but now as you get used to it, these become the reason that make you feel comfortable.

The site is in the Manhattan, the New York City the most densely populated county in America, the site is on a street near the Time Square. The base is around the prosperity businness district and the residitial area. There are lot of restaurants, cafeteria, store, bar, and many theater around here. In front of the site is a wide sidewalk, lots of people walk through it everyday. I choose the base here because it not too noisy and the and not wide but in a long shape. It can make the bar more secret and special.

To sepreate the inside and outside world signal. There is no glasses window to look outside. The closed space has the unique system of the day and night. Using the human-made lightening to make the wholo dark day with some weak lamp lights. it make the spaces have the own sustained special atmosphere day and night and cut off from the world’s signal. The inside area are combine with each part. The entrance path, the lobby, the atrium, the seat room and the aisle. They are all design to be dark and use the faint light of lamp to lighten the spaces. The dark make people disturbed but the warm light make peolple feel safe and comfortable.
SPACE PROGRAM SECTION THE ANONYMOUS ALONE SEAT ROOM
The person area is the room with alone seats and seperare in different area. They are design to used to talk with strangers by loud-hailers in random. The group of alone seat are connected by stairs, small/ medium public area and lots of aisles. The unit of alone seat in single area will be set as 6-8 rooms in one place. Each of the room use the dark color and semitransparent gauze as material as a door to keep privacy. Use the red brick to be the material as a wall. The heavy bricks make people feel safety, and also block sounds from the other room to be more quiet. And the gauze block the vision by other people sight, when go through the aisles can't see clearly image and even impossible to dentify people's face in the room. SPACE PERSPECTIVE THE COMMUNITY AREA Between the each area there are lots of different sizes of public area for people to meet face to face. The function is to prepare a space for social when they feel too lonely or want to meet the people anonymous in the phone and their will be a spotlight to meet. These spaces are unevenly distributed all over the bar, and the size and position appear randomly. After passing through the entire seating area, after climbing the stairs, or at the corner of the corridor, they may be the places where they appear, bringing people a sense of surprise in the space experience. 2 floor aisle
In the center of the bar is a large atrium. When people look down from the 2floor they can see the plantings and the bartender making some drinks. And the 3floor look out from the stairs can see people talking by the brass handrail and lots of lamps.

SPACE PERSPECTIVE THE ENTRANCE / THE PATH / THE AISLE This is a tunnel like space, the entrance is made up of an arched channel, extending down to the basement, the difference between the first floor and the basement is obstructing the vision, which makes people invisible and unable to predict the next path. Such a sense of uncertainty makes people uneasy. They must have enough courage to go on. The whole path is very dark, but there is weak light to guide the road. After the entrance goes down, you will see a wall at the end. After the corner, you will arrive at the storage space of a hall for people to deposit their personal belongings, and then you will enter a very long arched corridor. The surrounding side is the black glass with fog surface. You can see people's shaking and fuzzy shadows, and the faint light flickers.

THE IMPORTANT THING OF LIFE In this era, social media became a part of people’s life. In internet. Every one has a chance to create a charter as they want. Including the personality, the appearance ,the facade of life style can be shaped in perfect appearance. People start to pursue vanity as living in public’s praise. As time goes on, they became numbness to the real things around them. Finally, one day they are tired about the superficial competition and want to have a meaningful life but they already forget what the true happiness is it.The fear comes when something unknown happened or beyond the control. The best way to face fear is constantly experience him, accept him, and face it honestly. In this architecture, I want to create a special atmosphere to let people experience fear and constantly experience as they get used to it.
NOTATION
ANTI SOCIAL MEDIA AND THE RESTAURANT LANDMARK FEATURE The happiness in people’s mind turn to be popular on the social media. And the restaurant have a severe change that became more like a landmark for taking photo instead of the original importance function‘’the place to eat and have a reunion with friend, family and people’’. Nowadays, the main purpose to go to restaurant is to uploading posts on social media. Even the food is not tasty, people still willing to pay more money to go. In our life, there are lot of things cannot record by photos. And most of them are the true experience need to be experience on the spot. In the era of post social media , I want to create an anti-social media resraurant. To anti taking photos, the facade and each angle are hard to take photo as a great picture. Weakness the visual element and intensify the sense organs of others. In contrast of the beautiful picture on social but bad experience, I want to make people have a low expectation in original but wonderful experience after they go into the space. There will be a special amazing atmosphere to feel.
SPACE PROGRAM LINE AND CUEVE
The BBQ restaurant is divided in two different part. The inside part and the semi-outdoor area. The tatami eating area (red) is composing by linar spaces, using the slope roof, polygonal white walls, and many layers wall in different materials to make the strip spaces for eating. This strip area is for people to stay for 30-60 minute to eat slow, enjoying the atmosphere and chat with people. The semi-outdoor standing eating area (blue) is composing by two curve walls. To let people walk through it, still have a place to stay for a second and have some meals as they are busy. The curve area have a long table along the curve wall. People can stand to eat and experience the strong smell by the chimney from the smell inside. People usually stay 5-10 minute here shortly.

MATERIAL THE SENSE OF FEELING/ MATERIAL USED/ THE SPACE ATMOSPHERE
The inside wall use the wood and bamboo as material, choosing the plain material to make the high quality experience and atmosphere. The layer of the wall is arrange in order of material used. The plant/tree, the water, the concrete, the glass ,the wood, the bamboo tatami make the amazing shadow inside the restaurant. In different time, the tree, the wall make plentiful shodows indoor.

INDOOR PATH THE LINE The first view to walk from the Zhongshan MRT Station to the linar park will be the small entrance. The first low expectation is to let people misunderstood the whole architecture is small as the entrance facade looks like. After opening the door is a long aisle, the beautiful white wall hang many beautiful painting and a plant wall that seems to be a photo wall prepare for people to take photos, but after walk inside, the aisle is narrow, the height is low, and be in a poor light. After the long path is a lobby with a tatami floor to let people take change the shoes. Using the different color (material) to make the contrary between the two area.
OUTDOOR PATH THE CURVE The whole area is composed by curve walls. When people see it on the first sight. They may misunderstand it just a path in a park. But after they walk inside they can order the BBQ from the window and take their BBQ in the middle of the curve wall to eat. Standing with other people to chat. In this area, people don’t stay for long time. Some student after school or some office worker would like to stay for a second in the afternoon. The wall facade use two different materials. The inside wall use the wood and the facade outside use the concrete white wall. To weakness the vision and make the contrary feeling about the area. The purpuses Is to make people put down the phone and experience the true interactive with people.
The curve wall divided the view from outside, people can smell the odor from the chimney but can't see what happened inside. The wall is design to be more taller than people's height. Using trees to make shadow to cool off the semi-outdoor dining area.

PUT ON MASKS IS FOECE TO THE CAPITALISM SOCIETY In the morning .The dog standing in front of the mirror to brush up in the bathroom, and then after he wash his face, he put on a mask . The mask have a poker face, with an unnatural facial feature, pale color. His eyes looks empty seem like their is no soul in it. In the Capitalism society, What people consider, will be the beauty. Conform the popular aesthetics. The lifestyle people live become to put masks on face to hide themself. This phenomenon became a normal thing in their life. In order to integrate into society, people disguised with mask. They are force to put on masks because the society prefer the beautiful appearance than the real self even the mask is fake.
NOTATION
THE DEFINITION OF BEAUTY - DYSTOPIA/UTOPIA The first thing i definitioned about is : Q:What is the ''Fake beauty'' would be? A:What people consider, will be the beauty. Conform the popular aesthetics and have the phenomenon of ''Restrict, Single, Flawless, Purety''. Doing Social behavior on purpose. Imitate others to be the same. Q:What is the ''True beauty'' would be? A:People's spirit feel free. Having the phenomenon of ''Disengaged, Changeable, Flawed, Complicated. Focus on the individual than living in a group. Having the personal characteristics. And then I get the conclusion, to the main idea as ''Consuming behavior''. It is not for any social activity but a personal behavior activity. People gathering but not for social purpose. The program combined as a transfer second hand clothing place, Vintage Shop, Workshop to design and make clothes by themselves. All about the features of ''Unique and characteristics, All goods have the only one. Being changeable and meaningful
DYSTOPIA OF THE COMSUMING BEHAVIOR To anti the quick consuming activity, the pusuming of cheap, fast, more quickly. A shop to let people experience the fun of consuming, staying for a long time in the shop, and do something more meaninful instead of buying something and leave. The 1floor is a second hand exchanging area. People can bring their stuff to exchange the useful things back home. There are many straight wall to divided the space into small areas. Each corner of the wall is the place to change items. The 2floor is the place to design the unique ,the clothes made by yourself. It is a workshop to experience how the clothes produced. The 3floor is a vintage shop. Every item just have one, and this is full of history values.

SITE The site is in the Ximending bussinness district. Near to the MRT station, it is a famous landmark in taipei that teenagers, students and tourist will chooses to go on weekend. In front of the site is a plaza, the plaza usually gathering people. Specially when the street artist started the performance, the plaza become a stage. Without the performance. People getting croud in the afternoon and the night is the most prosperous time. Around the base, there are many restaurant, store of selling clothes, bags, and some food stalls. Next to the street is a hotel, and the STARBUCKS, UNIQLO is on the same street too.

FAKE MASKS ON ARCHITECTURE The facade of mask is the first view from the street. To make the appearance like a factory but a real shop inside. The second mask is about the entrance. When walking through the arcade , see the wall and consider it as a entrance, but the real entrance is the corner deep to the wall. And the stair goes to the 2floor's workshop as the opposite cognition lead to indoor.
