This year, Cali will be launching on the eastern edge of the Greek island of Mykonos. Overlooking the Aegean, Cali Mykonos (above) will boast 40 luxury villas in the prime location of Kalafati Beach. After a two-year renovation, Hotel Nuage opened at the end of 2021. Designed as an urban retreat, Nuage offers an antidote to the hustle and bustle of Paris. MATILD PALACE, BUDAPEST

Step back in time to Budapest’s Belle Epoque at Matild Palace. Originally commissioned by the Austrian Archduchess Maria Klotild, and the place where The Adventures of Sinbad was penned, Matild Palace (left) is one of Budapest’s most iconic buildings. Wrought-iron balconies look out over the Danube and all 111 rooms and 19 suites offer plush Art Nouveau interior touches. A five-year renovation culminated in the grand reopening in 2021, with the final flourish of Matild’s Café & Cabaret opening this spring.
