Come and meet both new and established authors and illustrators; experience small scale workshops on a host of literary themes; enjoy the Roald Dahl centenary Discovery Trail; drop in to the Waterstones Children’s Hideaway; and explore other free activities designed with both fun and learning in mind. There’s plenty for teachers too: following last year’s runaway success, we’ve created three twilight CPD sessions on topics that matter to you (see page 15); and don’t forget the hundreds of stimulating events for adults and families in the full Festival programme, to be revealed in August.

If any of your choices are not available, we will be in touch to discuss alternative options. • Friday 9 September is the deadline for notifying us of changes to your numbers as a result of fluctuations in class size.
