Who will perform this year?

Curated by Cheltenham Jazz Festival, the Henry Westons Sessions are an unmissable series of intimate performances filmed backstage at the Festival and shared online. Watch the eclectic mix of established artists and emerging talent throughout the Festival at youtube.com/cheltenhamfestivals

The Henry Westons Sessions at Cheltenham Jazz Festival

Spotlight is Cheltenham Festivals’ year-round talent development programme. It offers a wide range of opportunities for all ages to engage with jazz and provides an invaluable platform for up-and-coming talent, supporting performers throughout their career.

Henry Westons Vintage Cider, the Official Cider of Cheltenham Jazz Festival.

One-To-One Clinics

In 1880, Henry Weston first started crafting cider from the bittersweet apples grown on his farm in Much Marcle, Herefordshire. Over many years, he refined the art of traditional cider making.

Emerging jazz artists receive invaluable career advice from industry professionals in the setting of the Festival.

Today, Henry Westons Vintage Ciders are produced only from apples grown in a single year’s harvest in the three counties of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. The ciders are always slowly matured, and spend time in traditional oak vats, which ensures exceptional taste.

Jazz Exchange This year, our annual Jazz Exchange concert will welcome students from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the Siena Jazz-Accademia Nazionale Del Jazz in Italy – two top institutions for studying jazz.

‘Sitting between the realms of spiritual jazz, afrobeat and just utter madness, Shake Stew have forged a herculean record which is utterly scintillating’ (Jazz Revelations). With honeyed vocal textures, Georgia-born singer Lizz Wright brings a powerfully emotional live presence, soulful grooves, brilliant colour and vibrancy to original works and classics.
