These ideas come from the work of the traditional Chinese folk story "Tiger Pillow". (When Chinese children complete their first month of life, the grandmother will help the grandson prepare a set of clothing and the double-headed tiger pillow to protect young children from evil.) The pair of shoes are shaped into the image of the Chinese traditional auspicious animal, named "Foot-eating beast" to symbolize their protecting the feet from injury. The beast’s mouth is the opening of the shoe, making it seem like the beast is biting the foot, showing a kind of playful humor.

Student President Election Print Ad Design Concept: Produce personal image ad draft using “Student President Election” as main theme. Use the style of Taiwan under Japanese rule of propaganda material as visual presentation technique. Use portraits of students wearing uniforms to portray the good student image. In order to be more convincing, the amusing campaign poster was added with a touch of celebrity recommendation. For example, “Chu Shao Lun” will be “Chu Li Lun” (current Executive Vice President of Taiwan); “Monkey Chow” as “Stephen Chow” (Asian comedian).

Objective Statement: For a while in college, I practiced shooting blackand-white photography. My photography teacher brought back a number of hand-washed positives from Japan to experiment the effects of positive-negative washes. Once during an outdoor shoot, I inadvertently saw an abandoned old-fashioned baby carriage, readily pressed the shutter, and developed a stunning effect. The main baby carriage appeared to have a sharp outline amidst the dark ink background, adding a touch of supernatural vibe.

Objective Statement: I feel most sandals on market today are lack of uniqueness which inspires three of us with great passion of women sandals to create a sandal brand targeting modern young ladies, emphasizing on hand crafting, hope to innovate unique style. The idea is based on four stylesVictoria, old Shanghai, Posimia, and premature Punk as sandal’s outlook, combined with logo to develop visual identity, and display the whole products at final exposition.
Sentiment: Spent a year in graduation production, going through countless discussion and revision with instructors, accumulating tons of drafts and drawings, I have gained a lot of valuable experiences. Choosing a new brand name and produce the theme products is a big challenge not only to me but all team members. From data collection to final product display, personally involved with each step from sample sketch to material search for products and worked with local manufacturer to produce the prototypes. Every team member as put out a great deal of efforts, combined with each’s best idea to create best product. To me, this graduation production is a hard working and fun experience, I have not only gained good experience but also left with great memory.

Design Concept: This is a violin solo performance with Taipei Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. In order to match the performer’s theme song “Symphonic Dances from West Side Story”, purposely used graffiti style for production, combining the performer’s portrait on walls with spray painted text to represent the song, instrumental elements, and the message relayed, forming a graffiti styled artistic product. The client had already adopted the proposal, but had different views during the final decision making, so the entire case was overthrown and given to another designer to execute.
