02 CUTTING SPACE - Writing A Design By Computer Generative Language And Simple Rule 11/2011-12/2011
- Using simple computer generative languages and rules to create rich architectural design order. - Method: writing ArchiCAD scripts to realize design concept -- parametric form and space; studying the single form, the combination form and complex form; the key is that the form is not predetermined. 10
(A) CASE STUDY -- VERTICAL HOUSE
An interesting thing—the windows!
Three kinds of windows from Vertical House’s elevations: the blue ones, the yellow ones and the gray ones Different kinds of windows have different kinds of patterns

(B) A SPECIAL CONCEPT -- CUTTING SPACE
(the windows: cutting holes on the surface; cutting space: cutting holes in space)
1) Cutting space in the order of the windows' patterns in a box

04 TWIST -- Super High-rise Building Design 09/2011-10/2011
Site Area: 24800m² Building Area: 97500m² Location: Nanjing Program: Commerce & Office
SITE Yuejiang Tower Yuejiang Tower on top of Lion Rock Mountain, is in the northeast direction of the site. It is the most important scenery of the site due to it is one of China's top ten renowned cultural towers.
Civil Square Civil square, in the northwest part of the site, has an area of 4800m². The square is for public entertainment and has direct influence on the building.
CBD This high-rise building in the south direction nearby the site is Nanjing's riverside bund CBD. It will interact with our composite super high-rise building.

Due to the existence of the new planning of Nanjing Bund riverside CBD as well as the demand of the surrounding crowd, an exchange place to gather crowd is relevant. So we create a U body block, resulting in an inner court in order to interact with the CBD.
The podium deforms in response to the effect of surrounding environment. First, we Lift the corner near the City Square, then a striking main entrance will be created for business flow line. Second, we depress the corner near park for the sake of a smaller scale. 31
By folding the shape up to sky, we can form towers for the office part of this city complex, and atrium space derived from the inner court of podium. The high-rise guarantees us a view of the whole scene.
We make Yuejiang Tower the control point of the upside of tower in response to the context. So we make a deform at the lower part of the tower in order to give the largest office area a best view

GREEN DESIGN Rotation of building ——improve the ventilation
Public Space Of Every Floor
The rotation of building give a guide to airflow so that it gently pass by. Then such airflow will be captured by windows of the sawtooth-shaped atrium curtain wall on the building edge, to help achieve natural ventilation, while avoiding strong under -spin airflow and strong wind around the buildings, cutting the discomfort of such kind of huge buildings. After the capture of windows of the curtain wall, according to the aerodynamic, airflow will fly along the anti-large-scale duct circled because of the different wind pressure between the upper and lower floors. Then along the interspace between rotating floors, fresh air pass over the whole floor.

05 URBAN LANDSCAPE PLAZA Large Urban Commercial Complex, HOPSCA HOPSCA = Hotel+Office+Park+Shoppingmall+Convention+ Apartment 03/2011-04/2011
2
The site is in the business circle of Maigaoqiao. In order to increase its business compitiveness, I integrated the concept of landscape architecture into the traditional business model and forged large urban landscape plaza. On the one hand, this attracts people; On the other hand, the landscape surface open to the city makes the architecture have a different business image and brings a different experience of shopping&playing. Site Area: 33520m² Total Building Area: 114307m² Commercial Building Area: 64519m² Commercial Distribution: Anchor Stores 5%, Retail 75%, Restaurants 15%, Entertainment 5% 42

If the towers are located in the northside of the site, the Core-Tube at the bottom will occupy the position of Golden Shops.
Relative Relationship Between Two Towers
- flow organization - overall appearance and image of the commercial complex The sunlight of the northwest tower should not be affected by the south tower.
Plane relationship Five squares with different levels and properties
Relationship Between Towers And Podiums - overall distribution of architecture - internal business space organization
Separation of towers and podiums benefits the construction of main business square space and the fire evacuation settings. sunsight -low in south&hign in north; more sunsignt apartment rooms - plate-type building; economic structure of high-rise office building - tube-in-tube. 43

PLANS The site is close to the main road Qixia Avenue of the city, North to see Mufushan, South to see Purple Mountain, north 500M away from Riverside Avenue, yanziji parks and other tourist attractions; At the same time, the site is in the core position of Maigaoqiao commercial circle to be built, that is to say, the site is both a business center and a landscape center. Hence, our design made echoes: business model developes from the traditional internal and external street walking style into the urban landscape square experience style, so that the architecture can breathe.

06 E-TOPIA YOUTH CITY Real Life Expands On The PLAN Integrated Commercial And Residential Area Of Low Carbon Lifestyle Eco-city, 04/2011-06/2011
Site location: the site is located in Wuli town Jiangxia district Wuhan city, which is Optics Valley of China aiming at creating eco-smart Metro. The core section of E-topia Youth City covers an area of about 10 hectares. The main functions of the section are business, commerce, residence and leisure. It is functional comprehensive and has a relatively high development intensity. Its urban space design and construction mode has an important demonstration effect on the construction of entire eco-city. 52
Location
Wuhan, Hubei, China
The site is located in Wuhan Jiangxia County, 30 kilometers from the city center. Around the field distributes Liangzi Lake. The site has a beautiful environment and developed transportation.
The site is located in the upper planning life Area, is planned to start construction of the first batch.
A level 1st ecological corridor in the Planning by the host connects the Youth City with Liangzi Lake.
