SLO Rattlers vs. Santa Maria Valley Packers The SLO Rattlers will be playing the Santa Maria Valley Packers on Saturday, June 19 at 6:05 p.m. and Sunday, June 20 at 1:05 p.m. at Sinsheimer Stadium. The last time the Rattlers faced the Packers was Jul 2009. The Packers won the three games by scores of 6-3, 3-1, and 7-5. The Packers lead the overall series 7-6. Pitching Strikeouts The Rattlers pitching staff has struck out 117 batters this year. On June 2 against the Cal Poly Club Teams, the Rattlers recorded a season high 16 strikeouts. Marc Damon leads the team with 13 strikeouts.


Stealing Extra Bases The SLO Rattlers are 16 for 17 in stealing extra bases this year. Nigel Morton has the most stolen bases with four. Seven are perfect when it comes to sealing extra bases.

Going… Going… GONE! On June 2 the Rattlers got their first home run of the season from Daniel Howell. He leads the team with two home runs.

Rattlers on a Roll The hits continue to come for the Rattlers. David Schultz and Thomas White have the longest hitting streak on the team at five games. David Schultz recorded a hit in every game from June 1 to June 5. Thomas White recorded a hit in every game from June 6 to June 13.

It Takes Two… The Rattlers have turned six double plays this year. On June 13 in the second game of the doubleheader against Team Vegas Baseball Club the Rattlers turned three double plays. ###
