THE SLO RATTLERS HEAD TO NEVADA TO PLAY THREE GAMES The SLO Rattlers are 4-2 on the season and 1-2 in CCL play.

San Luis Obispo, CA (June 10, 2010) –

SLO Rattlers vs. Team Vegas Baseball Club The Rattlers have not faced Team Vegas Baseball Club before. They will be heading to Henderson, NV to play. This will be the first time the Rattlers will play outside of California. The SLO Rattlers will be play at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 and a double header at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Sunday, June 13. The games will be played at Morse Stadium. It is the home of the College of Southern Nevada. The address is 700 College Drive, Henderson, NV 89002. All of the games can be heard on the internet/radio at http://www.slorattlers.com/rattler-radio.

About the Team Vegas Baseball Club The Team Vegas has not played this summer. In the 2010 MLB Draft the Team Vegas Baseball Club had seven players drafted. Bryce Harper was the number one overall draft pick and his brother was the 820th player drafted.

Rattlers Bats Are Heating Up As a team, the Rattlers are batting .303 with thirteen doubles, one triple, one home run, and 36 RBIs. Scott Pillion is sporting the highest batting average at .500. Scott Pillion leads the team with eight hits. Joe Etheverry has three doubles. Joe Etcheverry has seven RBIs and leads the team. David Schultz has a team high six walks. Nigel Morton has the only triple. Daniel Howell has the first home run.

The Rattlers will play a three game league series in NV

Pitching Strikeouts The Rattlers pitching staff has struck out 67 batters this year. On June 2 against the Cal Poly Club Teams, the Rattlers recorded a season high 16 strikeouts. Jeremy Gonzales leads the team with 10 strikeouts.

Stealing Extra Bases The SLO Rattlers are 9 for 9 in stealing extra bases this year. Nigel Morton has the most stolen bases with three.

Going… Going… GONE! On June 2 the Rattlers got their first home run of the season from Daniel Howell.


Rattlers on a Roll The hits continue to come for the Rattlers. David Schultz had the longest hitting streak on the team at five games. He recorded at hit in every game from June 1 to June 5. ###
