SLO Rattlers vs. Central Coast Bulls The SLO Rattlers will be playing the Central Coast Bulls on Tuesday, June 15 at 6:00 p.m. at Paso Robles High School. This is a not league game. The last time the Rattlers faced the Central Coast Bulls was June 2009 in San Luis Obispo. The Rattlers won both of the games by scores of 5-2 and 5-4. The SLO Rattlers lead the series 2-0. Rattlers Bats Are Heating Up
The Rattlers play one game in Paso Robles As a team, the Rattlers are batting .278 with fourteen doubles, four triples, two home runs, and 45 RBIs. Scott Pillion is sporting the highest batting average at .385. Scott Pillion leads the team with ten hits. Joe Etheverry has three doubles. Joe Etcheverry has eight RBIs and leads the team. David Schultz has a team high six walks. Four players each have one triple. Daniel Howell has two home runs.
Pitching Strikeouts The Rattlers pitching staff has struck out 88 batters this year. On June 2 against the Cal Poly Club Teams, the Rattlers recorded a season high 16 strikeouts. Jeremy Gonzales leads the team with 12 strikeouts.
Stealing Extra Bases The SLO Rattlers are 14 for 15 in stealing extra bases this year. David Schultz and Nigel Morton have the most stolen bases with three and are perfect when it comes to sealing extra bases.
Going… Going… GONE! On June 2 the Rattlers got their first home run of the season from Daniel Howell. He leads the team with two home runs.
Rattlers on a Roll The hits continue to come for the Rattlers. David Schultz had the longest hitting streak on the team at five games. He recorded at hit in every game from June 1 to June 5.
It Takes Two‌ The Rattlers have turned five double plays this year. On June 13 in the second game of the doubleheader against Team Vegas Baseball Club the Rattlers turned three double plays. ###
