This month it is all about love.

I am not referring to that “head-over-heels,” “love at first sight,” or “crazy about someone” feeling. What I am talking about is love for oneself. You see, to really love someone, you need to first love yourself. One of my favorite ways to do this is through practical and easy self-care habits and having fun with makeup!

If there is ever a day to wear red lipstick, Valentine’s is it. Take note of my helpful tips for achieving the perfect red lip. A makeup trend to try for this season is the goth look. And using the right kind of black eyeliner will help you create a subtle or dramatic goth vibe that’s sure to turn heads.

This Valentine’s Day, or heck, why not all month, let’s celebrate by exercising the best kind of self-love. Also, not forgetting this month’s Beauty Content Creator Spotlight, which is from the wonderful Christine Kong of DailyKongFidence.com, who inspires us with her everyday tips. I’m Debbie Savage, a Cambodian-American entrepreneur and blogger. You can find my blog To Thine Own Style Be True, which was established in 2016. I have an undergraduate degree in family science and a graduate degree in health education. I worked for the American Cancer Society in Los Angeles, California, and afterward became a fulltime mother in 2003.

As a young mom, I reconnected with my love of health and wellness and taught fitness classes as a certified aerobics instructor. Besides being a fitness enthusiast, I am a business woman too. Currently, I reside with my husband and three kids in Orange County, California, and enjoy sharing inspirational and helpful info on fashion and beauty on my lifestyle blog.
