n All Borealis Press cards are the standard size – a wee dite under 5" x 7". Lavishly printed.

n Envelopes have a red deckle edge on the left side. Sympathy cards come with plain white envelopes. Envelopes are 5¼" x 7¼".

n Wholesale orders: Cards are shipped in sixes, Magnets in fours. Everything is 100% exchangeable.

Sending Photos ?

Some of our photos are old, some new. They come from customers, professionals, amateurs, family collections, and pictures we take. If you would like to submit a photo, please send to photos@borealispress.net. And Please: Before sending, look at what we use. Our photos have people, dogs, and cats, but not always. Funny is good, but not always. Send low resolution color, or black and white. We’ll ask if we need high resolution. And please know that we see many many (many) good photos that don’t fit our needs.

This is important: Put your name in the file name of every single photo. It’s a shame when we want to use a picture but don’t know who to contact.

The strangest thing about this line is that many All Occasion cards seem like they were made exactly for whatever occasion you need: not one card fits all, but in that ballpark.

Stores, why have to deal with with special occasion cards after the occasion? Here is a unique way for a store to keep the pockets productive.

Designs here have text on the front cover and are blank inside. The display backers are unique. One side gives the seasonal use – Mother’s Day, Valentine, etc. Turn the backer over for All Occasion, Birthday, etc. Presto, good sellers stay on sale after the special occasion, no wasted space, no unused inventory.

Mark speaking here, pleased to report that Jeff Grenier, who has been our go-to guy for sixteen years, is now CEO. That is, Jeff and the crew below are essentially running Borealis Press. They still call me boss, treat me kindly, ask me to write things, make designs, review (sometimes curmudgeonly) new cards that the crew comes up with, and weigh in on business questions, but I’m saying that Jeff and the team are smarter than I was when I started Borealis Press in 1990. They get it. You’re in good hands.

Heather Grenier is our office manager and runs our order entry department. Heather is Madam Organization. Want to know what you had for breakfast a year ago last Tuesday? When your shipment will be arriving?

If anything Borealis is printed, it goes through Dede Johnson. Dede deals with all things production, and lots of graphic design. She even takes the heat for my typos. Dede also deals with issues that don’t deal directly with stores. Why do the bar codes work? What makes the magnets stick? Why do we so rarely have to back order? Question about a particular card? Ask Dede. Most importantly, Dede has been a hero to children who were dealt a difficult hand.

Every time a store upgrades to a double-barrel Borealis 144-Pocket Display, their sales go up, with splendid productivity for the space. Holds 144 card designs. This selling machine is only 22" x 39" x 72".
