WELCOME LETTER
WELCOME
TO THE ANNAPOLIS SPRING SAILBOAT SHOW
Welcome back to City Dock for the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show! We’ve missed celebrating the start of the sailing season with you these past two years and are so excited to be back. My team has been hard at work on what promises to be the best Spring Sailboat Show yet. Despite the supply chain challenges that continue to make headlines, our exhibitors have some excellent boats for the Show. We’ve filled the docks and tents with exhibitors ready to show you the latest in electronics and other boating equipment and to talk to you about everything from financing, insurance, and improving your sailing skills to work you need done on your boat and where to keep her. You won’t find this many sailors in one place again until our fall shows. During this boat show weekend, many of our familiar programs return to educate and entertain our guests. Beginning sailors will learn sailing basics at First Sail Workshops with in-class instruction and onboard training by certified ASA Instructors, providing a wonderful introduction to the word of sailing. Free seminars are scheduled throughout the weekend. Cruisers University will be preparing future adventurers with four days of classes, ranging from provisioning and storing food, to navigation and the maintenance of your boat systems. Presented by La Victoire Finance, The VIP Experience returns. VIP guests will enjoy convenient downtown parking, continental breakfast, a delicious luncheon buffet, and afternoon hors d’oeuvres, in the Latitude 38 restaurant, as well as coffee, water, soft drinks, and adult beverage tastings all day long. This year’s Breakthru Beverage Tasting Tent is showcasing a variety of liquors and wines. Guests over 21 years of age may excite their palettes with Tito’s Handmade Vodka (distilled in Texas,) Fishers Island Lemonade, Brugal 1888 Rum, and wines by The Calling, The Crossings, and Fleur de Prairie. Additionally, we’re providing live music by Russell Jacobsen, The Ryan Keith Band, and The Moran Tripp Band. I look forward to seeing you at the Show! Cheers,
Sheila Jones General Manager, Annapolis Boat Shows
