Party Supplies That Encourage Diversity

Lynnette Abbott loves party planning, party details and baking. She was continually frustrated year after year when she couldn't find party supplies that reflected her own children. One year her daughter requested a mermaid party and they couldn't find any mermaids that looked like her or her daughter. That's when she had the amazing idea to make her own party supplies. In 2017, she launched the company, Party Supplies Celebrating Children of Color. Abbott believes creating these diverse supplies will allow our children, "positive images that they can relate to," adding, "Our party supplies are tools that will be used to help develop a self-image of value and love."
