What to Consider While Choosing a DSLR Camera In today’s world of photography, everybody looks for a DSLR camera in order to capture good photos and videos. There is no arguing with the fact that DSLRs allow you to capture stunning shots. But, it is important for you to consider a few things that you should look in a DSLR camera. In this post, we’ll talk about the things you should consider while choosing a DSLR camera. 1. Use Make sure you keep following questions in mind, i.e. Is the camera comfortable to hold? Can you change the settings with buttons and switches? If there’s a touchscreen or not? 2.Lens Another thing you should consider is how far does the camera zoom out (wide angle) and zoom in (telephoto)? The wide-angle setting is probably more important as it lets you get close shots quite easier. The best way to compare this is to find out what the 35mm equivalent is: under 30mm is good, 25mm or less is great.

3.Consider Sound One of the most important things you have to consider is the built-in microphone good? Is there a headphone socket that can listen to the sound while you film? Can you plug in a separate microphone? Make sure you keep these queries in mind while buying a DSLR camera. (If you want to be able to use pro microphones, it is important for you to have a camera with three-pin XLR inputs).

4.Image Stabilisation Needless to say that image stabilisation can make pictures less shaky. If you’re going to use a tripod or a good camera support, then it is not that much important. However, it’s very useful for shooting handheld. The most effective stabilisation, featured in some new cameras helps a lot in combining lens-based optical stabilisation and sensor-based in body image stabilisation (IBIS). 5.Sensor Size Always keep this in mind that the larger is usually better. The bigger sensors in HDSLRs, large sensor video cameras are are usually better in low light, and let you get shallow focus effects. Without diffraction softening your image, they also let you use smaller apertures. But if you are looking for news and events shooters, the greater the depth of field you get from a small-sensor camera would be effective for you.
