Question 1 What does it mean to you to be a woman in manufacturing today?

Women have more opportunity to move up to better paying positions today.

Question 2 Share with us your BEST memory in manufacturing.

My best memory is my supervisor at the time of being hired telling me I was going to be an operator. I told him I wasn’t and 29 years later I’m an Operator.

Question 3 What is your greatest hope for women in manufacturing for the future?

To be able to climb the ladder.

Question 4 Would you refer your female friends/family to work in manufacturing sector?

I would first recommend education. I have had a good career here though.

Question 5 Share challenges you faced and how you overcame them during your tenure with the company.

Lack of confidence. But, I had a great boss at the time that always gave positive reinforcement during any challenge.
