Ryodan by Seiya Nakamura 2.24 is a Japanese multidisciplinary consulting agency that provides services of holistic strategies, specialised in the areas of distribution, press, branding, and creative assets, connecting clients to top-tier cross-industrial talents.
Located on the 3rd Floor of the new art and design epicentre in Shanghai, BAIwork building, the Ryodan Office space intends to convey their idea of providing a blank-canvaslike environment to function as a office showroom that manifests works of designers that cooperate exclusively with Ryodan as well as hosting occasional social events that join business insiders together.
I was the lead designer of the project, working with two other team members. I was responsible for the spatial design, bespoke furniture design, material selection, and preparation of relevant presentation documentation.

02. ESLITE SPECTRUM BOOKSTORE
NO.18, ZHUANGJING N RD., ZHUBEI CITY, HSINCHU COUNTY, TAIWAN
Eslite Spectrum store applies a large amount of dark green and woody colours to create a spacious and comfortable environment full of a sense of nature. Five artistic light panels on the wall are displayed in the store that coheres with the rest of the interior. The black-andwhite photography works by Jian Zixin “roaming Iceland and Berlin” introduces a sense of silence in the vast land that guides the visitors to gradually slow down and be immersed in the world of art and literature.
The spatial design of the project was coordinated by a senior interior designer. I was responsible for the construction drawings of all the bespoke furniture in the bookstore as a junior designer.

HOLIDAY HOME
Taking advantage of the location of Lab Showroom (traditional Shanghai house), familiar objects of everyday were reformed, enlarged and twisted with a 2.5D approach. Interspersed with chandeliers and wine glass sculptures. Creating a ‘holiday home’ for temporary escape from the daily affairs.

07. PUB - THE M.A.C. TREE
RCA MA INTERIOR DESIGN RESEARCH PROJECT
M.A.C. is the abbreviation of Music/Art/Culture. The project aims to create a pub where different cultures are celebrated through the three aspects mentioned. Rather than interpreting differences of people’s backgrounds and ethnic origins as boundaries, the pub unites its visitors and the surrounding community precisely based on the diversity of population in London.
