APARTMENT DR RENOVATION
(Preliminary Design) Catania, IT - 2020 The project concerns part of an historic apartment located at the downtown of Catania. Kitchen and living room are relocated at the brighter side of the house, and are designed keeping the original layout of the apartment to minimize the cost. Kitchen and dining room are connected by full height sliding doors to have a dinamic space to meet client needs.

APARTMENT S RENOVATION
(Preliminary Design) Torino, IT - 2019 The renovation of this apartment of the ‘50 is about new finishing and furniture layout. The only structural change regards a big opening designed to have a living area no more separeted from the kitchen. The selection of colors and materials aims to create a cozy and spacious environment.

BEACH HOUSE B NEW COSTRUCTION
(Executive Design) Vero Beach, FL - 2018 The project involves the design of a beach house of 6,990 a/c sqft. and 4,700 non a/c sqft. A central vaulted volume containing the living space connects the North area, including mainly utility rooms at the first floor and bedrooms at the second floor, to the South area that is totally devoted to master space.

(Preliminary Design) Vero Beach, FL - 2017 The house features multiple buildings, including the main house and two guest houses, facing towards a central courtyard. This arrangment allows creating an intimate space: the coutyard becomes a central gathering square where people can enjoy the outdoor space and a natural thoroughfare between different parts of the house.

SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE D RENOVATION (Completed) Aci Castello, IT - 2015 The project concerns the renovation of a small historic 377 sqft house, distributed over two floors and located at the seafront area of an historic village. The furniture has been designed to optimize the available space, whereas materials and finishes are used to increase the visual space perception.

(Completed) Catania, IT - 2015 The project aims at converting an apartment located on the ground floor of an aristocratic building of the early '900 into an office. The architectural intervention has foreseen the recovery of the decorated vaultes and existing fixtures, and the realization of new parquet flooring and new plants.

APARTMENT I RENOVATION (Completed) Catania, IT - 2016 The project involves the re-design of living space of a recently built apartment. The need of a larger living area has led to modify the original plan: a central volume, containing bookcase and shelves on one side and kitchen furniture on the other one, has been designed to divide the living room from the kitchen.

COMPETITION
AAA Architetti Cercasi, to convert the former Gym 'Palestra Lupo' into a multi-functional building, Italy - 2015 The building reconfiguration aims at creating new connections between interior spaces and the outer urban space. To this purpose, a solution based on light and removable architectural devices - fixed or movable - made of a steel frame and wooden panels has been proposed.

INTERNATIONAL IDEAS COMPETITION for the post-earthquake reconstruction of San Gregorio Magno Church, Italy - 2012 The project focuses on the restoration of the ancient San Gregorio Magno church (L'Aquila, Italy), damaged after the earthquake of 2009. The church ruines - i.e. the apse zone and the adjacent spaces - have been preserved and integrated in the new construction. While the original T-shape plan has been kept, the lateral aisles have been removed and the space returned to the public use.
