Professional overview

Junior Architects At the Architect border of at the1:1emptiness. Project urban landscapefirm regeneration for Paskuqan Full timeofjob in anand architecture in Melbourne Site: Paskuqan, Albany Period: from August 2016 to February 2017 Academic year 2014-2015 Graduation project 1:1 Architects is an award-winning team of architects and designers committed to delivering innovative projects that are as aesthetically powerful as they are socially and environmentally progressive.

Their philosophy is both simple and evolved: innovative designs, outstanding architecture, sustainable construction. There is a wealth of talent across a range of disciplines at 1:1 Architects. Project managers, architects, interior designers and environmentally-accredited specialists work together in teams that combine skills specifically tailored to each brief. The design teams have acquired enviable professional experience designing complex and iconic buildings. The studio is situated in a historic 1887 building in one of Melbourne’s iconic laneways. A working studio first and foremost, the atmosphere is focused and informal, a productive place fostering innovative design work. I realized that 1:1 Architects is a robust and creative architectural workshop where ideas matter most, not office hierarchies. Yet even the best ideas need a grounding in reality. Which is why they match youthful questioning with technical maturity to achieve quality-assured results. During my period there I proved to be a valued team member helping the office with many roles and multitasking every time it was required. I have been helping with a wide range of tasks: from schematic designs and creative thinking, to 3D models, renderings, presentations and clients submission. All those tasks were followed for retail, residential and educational projects: among the variety of projects I worked on a schematic design for a new salad shop in Melbourne and a proposal for a library new entrance.

Junior Rosselli Architects At the Architect border of at theLuigi emptiness. Project urban landscapefirm regeneration Full timeofjob in anand architecture in Sydney for Paskuqan Site: Paskuqan, Albany 2015 to June 2016 Period: from December Academic year 2014-2015 Graduation project Australian based, this practice has a humanist approach to architecture and design, not eager to win awards, but always to instil good design and humane architecture that develops affinities, creating sympathetic buildings that flow and appeal. Working from the top floor of a converted Sydney warehouse, they are a team of architects and interior designers under the guidance of Luigi Rosselli and his three decades of international experience in Milano, Switzerland, New York and Sydney.

Renowned for their houses, residential architecture, adaptive re-use and heritage designs, the studio has worked on a very wide range of projects: from offices to factories, from libraries to wineries, from childcare to chapels. Luigi Rosselli Architects is a carbon neutral practice applying sustainable building practises, as demonstrated by their expertise in rammed earth, air-conditioning-free spaces and energy efficiency.

The humanist and environmental principles apparent in their projects has attracted a variety of clients, from the top achievers of Australian society to the penniless artist, with a variety of locations and briefs, resulting in a continual renewal of design solutions. During my time at Luigi Rosselli Architects I undertook a number of different assignment within the studio. Working with my senior colleagues and with the Principal, I collaborated on a diverse range of projects: from a gate addiction to a modern country homestead and a joinery drawings for in-progress homes, to assisting with the production and development of design plans for a prestigious waterfront single residential home and a luxury high rise apartment development. I also attended building site with senior members of the team to gain first-hand experience of project administration.
