6 Easy Steps to Enroll Parents complete the admission application and submit it together with the student questionnaire and $150 application fee. School transcripts and teacher recommendations are to be sent directly from the student’s school.

1. Visit Take advantage of the many opportunities available. Attend an informational meeting, shadow students to see classes in action and attend the Open House for prospective families at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School.

2. Apply Submit an application by the Priority Deadline and save $500 off the first year’s tuition. After the deadline, applications will be accepted as space permits. Tuition Assistance (TA) applications for new and returning students are due in February. These applications are available at www.rzjhs.org. Applications must be complete in order to be reviewed.

3. Test Incoming freshmen need to take a placement exam. The exam determines a student’s high school readiness and suggests appropriate course placement for freshman year. Two Sunday morning test dates will be offered; check our website for test dates. All testing takes place at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School. Students who have already taken the ISEE may submit copies of their scores with their application and do not need to retake the test at Rochelle Zell Jewish High School. Note: If your student receives extended test time, please contact the Director of Admissions to see which date to take the test.

4. Interview Once all application materials are received (including teacher recommendations and school transcripts), students and their parents attend an interview with two members of our admissions committee. These halfhour interviews are scheduled primarily during school hours, with limited availability on Sundays and evenings.

5. Notification Families who have completed steps 1–4 will receive notification of acceptance by mid-February. Parents will be notified of tuition assistance awards by mid-February.

6. Enroll Mazal Tov! Simply sign and submit your enrollment agreement. Once received, students will register for classes. Timely enrollment ensures appropriate course placement.
