MAIN FLOOR
MELK MAIN FLOOR
The Main Floor is surprisingly intimate and close to all the action on stage. With various price points and no stairs to navigate, this is one of the most popular seating areas. A large bar is open for refreshments in the Main Floor lobby before the concert and during intermission.
BOX LEVEL
Each box consists of three to eight individual seats that are unnumbered. The tradition is to rotate seating either between works or at intermission. All Box Level patrons have access to a nearby concessions bar and restrooms, and each box has its own coat closet.
FADIM LOWER BALCONY & KREHBIEL UPPER BALCONY
The Lower Balcony wraps around the hall and provides a pristine view of the performance. The Upper Balcony is a bit higher and under the overhang of the Gallery. A coat check is available on the Lower Balcony level.
FLYNN GALLERY
Many longtime patrons prefer to sit in the Gallery, raving about its acoustics and enjoying the birds-eye perspective. The Gallery lobby offers concessions, a coat check and views of Lake Michigan.
GRAY TERRACE
Terrace seating is behind the stage and offers a close-up view of the performers and an exquisite vantage of Orchestra Hall. The Rotunda with its Bass Bar is a popular intermission destination for those sitting in the Terrace. Terrace seating is not available for performances that include a screen, like CSO at the Movies, or those that include the Chicago Symphony Chorus.
