One of China’s most prestigious ensembles, the National Centre of the Performing Arts Orchestra, presents a program of contemporary and classical works including Unsuk Chin’s glistening Šu, a concerto for the ancient Chinese mouth organ, written for sheng virtuoso Wu Wei. The program concludes with Tchaikovsky’s powerfully dramatic Fourth Symphony.
