01 KWUN TONG BATHPOOL Year: 2022 Academic Project Individual work Urban Waterfront Regenerations
At present, there have been multiple issues existing on the waterfront areas along the Victoria Harbor shores, such as improper land use, the contextual separation of waterfront and hinterland, pedestrian-unfriendly walking space, discontinuous and narrow promenades, restrictions of accessibility, etc. Most of the current waterfronts are occupied by different functions, such as cargo handling areas, disused storage, and derelict industrial lands, which are unattractive to the Hong Kong citizens and visitors. Only small percentage are contributed to public open space for recreational and cultural uses. . This project aims to to transform Kwun Tong Ferry Pier into a lively waterfront destination for public enjoyment and reintroduce bathhouse in the urban setting through modern applications. By creates multilayered experience with water, from looking at the sea, to playing with fountain, to a shallow pool, to a deep pool, to wild sea. These layers create an adaptive water-human relationship. At the same time, by appling sustainable strategies to create and establish the vision of sustainable future and shared economy.

CFD Similation Site Condition
Prevailing wind from east over summer months, except in July. Abrupt shift in wind from south-west. However, the building site is located under the Kwun Tong bypass and surrounded by the building block from north to east side. The site location is the factor that the wind direction maybe gets turned or the wind speed reduced. The following vertical wind profile showing the wind structure of the atmosphere at various level over the site surrounding.
For the inlet wind flow is set 5 m/s, the mean velocity for this simulation. The strategy is that by designing the elipse shaped bathhouse in front of it to filter out the direct strong wind. The wind flow through the facade of the bathhouse smoothy, providing natural ventilation.

In the suitation of Tsing Yi, there is not enough public health care centre to provide a wide range of users. There is only 1 public health care among 15 health care facilities in Tsing Yi. Comparing private clinic station with public health care centre, health care centre can serve wide range of user. Therefore, the proposed health care facilities should be take care of a variety of users. In Tsing Yi, the majority of population is adult. However, elderly and children is the most needed group of users in terms of health care facilities. Therefore, elderly and children should be most concerned during the intial design stage.
80% Site coverage.
Divided in three main building blocks based on the functions, the central part are break through to create a shortcut.
The centre part are covered to form a tunnel.
Facade design.
CONCEPT
A Hug is inspired from the society nowadays. Especially during he covid19, there is many people infected, people are too worry to get out and afraid to get in touch with people. For those people who infected, this group of people are facing the blame by society and squeeze out by the society. Thus, a Hug is very important to everyone. This building provide many health care service, from testing service, quaratine service, rehabitaion of physiotherapy, physiology, body check, to the social sharing space like dining hall, auditorium, garden, etc. This project is special in bringing three different function into one building which are social recreational, rehabitaion and quaratine service. The building mainly separate into three block for those three function separately, due to the considering of safety and privacy. Yet, the central garden which run through the middle of the site would be the place that encourage people to interact each other, and also as a fast route from the tsing yi park to the sea front.

World Wide Fund for nature is a company with the vision and determination to change the future for good of the natural world and for all life on earth. By combination of field based projects, policy initiatives, capacity building and education work, to investigate a solusion to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature Nowadays, people are chasing material life, forgot the nature of beauty.. This project aims to find a way to recall people attention of nature. To influence the motion of the people who enter this building is my main design angle. Not only the form design, but also the space. Besides, to create a comfortable space for worker and vistor is my another aims, not only work effciency, but also work with nature. Allow visitor touch with nature, recall them what is the beauty of nature, to create a new green skyline in hong kong.
For this site 1 wang yuen street, kowloon bay. It is located at a new development site. For the future development i hope that this building can become one of the important part of green development in this kowloon bay district. By cooperate with the near landmarks (zero carbon building) and other green facilities to become a new district for green education in hong kong. For the site development potential, with megabox and zero carbon building near the site, they are orginally attract amount of people. Besides, some of the buildings which built near the site in recent years are registered with "beam plus", which is designed good at environmental aspect. Besides, with a large area of the industry zone near the site, which would be a big chance to be redeveloped and transform in the future. With tend that building are build expend to the sea which may have a huge potential land reclamation in the future. Thus, this site have potential to become new hot spots in terAms of green development.

TYPE 3: PRIVATE S L I DE The project seeks to provide an interesting extruded connection between buildings and also a common space for people to interact. Besides serving as places for circulation and for people to enjoy the view, it also narrows the gap between neighbours. There is total 3 types of design based on different ideas.
MAS S I NG DEVE LOPM EN T
Step 1: Connect People in opposite buildings have indifferent and distant relationship since they only have visual connection but no other kinds of communication. To enhance the communication of people, extrusion with diagonal connection is designed.
Step 2: Bridge To achieve the diagonal connection of people, extrusion connect different floors between opposite buildings is designed. With buffer zone in the middle of the extrusion, people can stay in the buffer zone and interact with others.
Step 3: Slide To make the extrusion more playful and interesting, the design of the extrusion make reference from the slide in children playground. Under the slide design, more people are attract to use and stay in the extrusion.
TYPE 2: SEM I - PRIVATE SLIDE Covered by tinted glass, steel and concrete, this design of slide allows different colour reflect inside the slide. Besides people insides the slide can communicate each other. The colour-slide not only bring a joyful environment for the people, but also allow people to appreciate the view in different colour.

05 CON-LIVING Year: 2020 COMPETITION (CHAMPION) Group work Transitional Housing Design
In the old days, when people start living in groups, they begin with village communities. In the later stage, they supplement the community with stalls and social space in order to develop a self-sufficient society. When comparing this kind of community with nowadays lifestyle in modern housing, although the scale of modern housing is even bigger with more comprehensive facilities, the distance between neighbor is even more indifferent and distant. We understand that for the residents of the modular house, they may feel confused and a lack of security when living in the transitional housing and having strangers as their Neighbor. With inspiration from the living pattern of village and public housing communities in the past, we would like to create such atmosphere for our transitional housing coummunity.
