Nowt to Worry About There’s a storm in the air, and all the animals are worried. But old Farmer Rafferty doesn’t realise anything is wrong. Can the animals warn him in time? Tickety-Boo A funny new creature has arrived at Mudpuddle Farm and the animals soon make friends. Problem is, the latest addition to the farm doesn’t belong actually there! It looks like it’s time to say a sad goodbye, although Albertine the Goose might just have a clever idea…
‘Nowt’ To Worry About ‘Funny,’ said Captain, Farmer Rafferty’s great big carthorse whom everyone loved and who loved everyone, ‘I don’t think I like the look of that sky at all, nor the sound of it neither, not one bit.’ Mossop, the farm cat with the one and single eye, lay curled up in his usual place on the tractor seat. He was only half awake. ‘Same sky as yesterday, Captain,’ he said sleepily. ‘And you can’t hear the sky. You worry too much. Nowt to worry about.’ And he went back to sleep again.
Q. How do Captain and Mossop feel about the sky?
Exploring Vocabulary Mossop: (sleepily): Same sky as yesterday, Captain. Mossop (_____): You worry too much. Nowt to worry about.
