A few weekends ago, the ladies from Paper Blossom Creations, Pollen Florist, Sweet Sister’s Cookies & Sweet Treats & Interlaced Media joined forces and put together all of our amazing products to creatively came up with one amazing Mother’s Day Treats Table. Packed full of delicious cookies, cakes and cupcakes, they were all beautifully tagged with custom mother’s day tags and adorned with florals. I am Amy, the owner of Paper Blossom Creations and had such a great time designing these printables for our Mother’s Day afternoon tea collaborative photo shoot and I absolutely adore the gorgeous floral patterns and bright colours. The printable range includes bunting, tent card (food labels), bottle wraps, party circles, treat bag toppers, candy bar wrapper, tea bag tag and pouch, table sign and folding card. My Mother’s Day printables can be
purchase from my website (address below) and are sent to you as a digital file for you to print at home or printing company. Our display would not have been complete without the amazing treats provided from Sweet Sister’s Cookies & Sweet Treats. Rachel and Jess are the creative genius’s that make up Sweet Sister’s Cookies. Based in Ballina, the girls baked up a storm and then travelled all the way up to Brisbane to deliver all the delicious cookies and help with the final design and setup. They provided an array of cookies and cookie pops in lots of flavours including, coconut ice, strawberries and cream, vanilla, turkish delight and strawberry. (contact details below) Final touches were added to the display by Jess from Pollen Florist who provided all of the florals and some of the styling pieces. The flower arrangements
were simply stunning and the colours matched in perfectly.

If You Can Dream NYC My sister and I grew up watching Disney princess movies and have been lucky enough to have visited Disney World several times when we were younger and like most little girls, we dressed as princesses for Halloween. If You Can Dream NYC began a short time ago during my first year in college and I needed a job for college living expenses. Some of my friends and I worked time to time for my mother’s party planning & children’s entertainment company as clowns and princesses. I wasn’t a very good clown and much preferred and en-
joyed portraying a princess. The only problem was that there wasn’t a lot of bookings for princess parties, because it was not the main focus of their company. One afternoon my mother and I were at a restaurant having lunch and that’s when the idea sparked of branching out and starting my own princess entertainment business and bringing the type magic to local kids parties. My mother inspired me that I can actually do this. We did some research of most of the local princess companies in my area, but there weren’t any companies that
were up to the quality of what we had envisioned princesses to be. We wanted to create beautiful princesses with the best custom quality costumes as if they were the actual character who stepped out of a fairytale. So with my ideas and my mother amazing creativity, If You Can Dream NYC was born. My friends and I were older and in college now, so this would be a perfect weekend job for us without sacrificing weekday study time. My mom, also a photographer did our photo shoot and we began promoting the business. The response has been incredible. PARTY STYLE Magazine

What Is Your P rincess Style
Our staff of princesses go have gone through princess training, on how to act and entertain at children’s parties. Some of our girls have beautiful singing voices too. We do are best to hire young talented school girls that resemble the story book characters. My mom is our actual Fairy Godmother, who is behind the scenes transforming us into beautiful princesses with the best quality costumes. She has taught me the business aspect of this business as well. My sister and I do the preparation prior to the parties to make sure entertainment runs flawlessly. It’s a lot of work, but it’s loads of fun and rewarding when you finally see the children’s expressions when they see us for the first time. We offer our customers a magical hour or more filled with singing, dancing, sparkling make overs, royal etiquette, balloon twisting, face painting, crafts and so much more. The kids as well as the parents enjoy our entertainment. It’s amazing and I love that we can offer this to our customers. It has been an amazing year and have been blessed with this wonderful opportunity.

Snow White – This Disney princess is considered as the oldest of all the Disney princesses. Though it is the oldest, it’s still popular among the young girls today. Almost all the little girls love the dress of Snow White.
Ariel – The list of Disney princesses also includes the princess Ariel. Though she is not classic princess yet she is quite popular among little girls. This princess is little different from other princesses as she is a mermaid.
Pocahontas – This is one of the other well known Disney Princesses in fact she is based on real person. One unique feature of this Disney princess is that she doesn’t end up or live happily with her prince ever after.
Cinderella – Cinderella is also included in the Disney princesses list, and she is one of the classic Disney princesses. This princess quite remains well known and popular among the young girls today. Within Disneyland, you will find some of the girls dressed like Cinderella.
Bell – Bell from Beauty and the Beast is also another Disney princess which is quite similar to Ariel. Though she is not classic princess yet her popularity never faded. She has pretty at the same time enjoys reading. Though she very pretty yet she has been pictured as plain girl in beginning of the movie.
Tiana – This Disney princess is considered as the newest Disney princess. She is in fact the first one to be featured as African American in a Disney movie. Tiana is one amongst the finest or greatest Disney princesses because of her love as well as compassion for others.
Sleeping Beauty – This is also one of the other classic princesses. She is still popular among the little girls today. Though she is less popular than Snow White and Cinderella yet many of the young girls love to dress like her. Though hardest dress to find yet it’s very demanding among the little girls.
Jasmine – The list of Disney princesses also include the princess Jasmine. She is the first Disney princess that has not featured as main character in a story. She is also very popular among the young girls today.
Mulan – This princess is also included in the list of Disney princesses. But she is not a true princess. She is also often considered as a great heroine loyalty.

Little Mermaid Under the Sea Birthday Party My little girl Sophia loves the Little Mermaid so it was no surprise that she wanted a Little Mermaid inspired theme for her 3rd birthday party. Creating an entire world of enchantment under the sea has probably been the most revved up and enjoyable party planning experience that has brightened the eyes of my girls and friends, alike. I mean, who 40 www.ilovepartystyle.com
can resist a colorful palette of varied shades of purples, aqua blue, and of course who can forget the sparkle (I know I can’t)? I love textures, colors and varied shapes, but the key to this sensational color scheme is the contrasting colors I chose to add dimension and necessary flair. The backdrop for this party is actually a mural that I created along with my girls, Meili and Sophia. We worked on a piece of the mural every day and watched it transform before our eyes. Needless to say, guests were captivated with this under the sea picturesque, whimsical under the sea elements, and gorgeous sugar cookies — inspiring a splash of curiosity and adventure!

About this party
I had an absolute blast putting together this Bambi/Twitterpated setup. I wanted it to have both a vintage and a rustic woodland feel. I love doing character themes, that’s especially true for cute forest animals! I knew I needed them to be the most present in their cartoon form in the cookies and fondant work. Everything else in the decor hinted more at Bambi and friends via silhouettes. This prevented it from being too over kill and commercial looking. For the cake we went with the naked variety. It complemented the out door feel perfectly. Danielle shot this set up early in the morning when the mist was out and it made for some fantastic shots.

About this party Monster Party – Designed and Photographed by Lemonberry Moon http://www.lemonberrymoon.com We wanted a bright and fun theme for this little monster’s 1st birthday celebration. Building around Forever Your Print’s http://www.foreveryourprints.com monster label set, we were able to create just that!
62
www.ilovepartystyle.com
This theme was all about colors and textures. A couple yards of green faux fur made the perfectly textured tablecloth. Foam cones were wrapped in a bright blue fuzzy yarn, and the banner was hung using a bright green fuzzy yarn. We brought character and texture to the cups as well, gluing googly eyes to each one. Balloons and favor bags were decorated with monster faces, (included in the printables package), printed on sticker paper.

Madeline in Paris A bright and modern take on a little girl in Paris. Décor & Inspiration When I think back to the many times I read Madeline as a young girl, I draw so much inspiration (as many of us do from our daily life). I began envisioning the bold and bright primary colors as a pallet to create a fun imaginative styled table. The main display (from left to right) features a classic but fun black globe, cute homemade cupcakes atop a white chunky cake plate complete with dome. In front you will see three adorable milk jars with a little red pom on top, featuring a character drawing by our talented stationary artist that captures the inspiration of dear sweet Madeline. I love how the colors burst when you see the white, black and three
70
www.ilovepartystyle.com
primary colors mixed; one of my favorite combinations. Next on the table we have two vintage suitcases that hold another chunky white cake plate carrying our homemade yellow fondant art cake. I call it an art cake because of the three primary colors splashed with icing, complete with sweet maraschino cherries! The backdrop “Ooh La la Paris” brings attention to the travel aspect of our party, and with the cute honeycomb paper balls on either side; we were able to draw the table together. We also made tiny ice cream cone Eifel towers that say “Paris” which sit atop their candy toppings for a party (Please see “Eifel Ice Cream” tip). Beside our travel trunks we have an actual black and bold Eifel tower, and our little macaron stack of three to tie in French inspiration to the shoot. Sweets & Eats
For our cake, we made a sweet lemon cake, lemon fondant, and finished it with the regular butter cream topping swirls & cherry. The macarons were by far my favorite sweet on the table. We stacked them high to show off the three colors together, such beautiful French inspired baking to complete the setting. Our Eifel tower cups were beyond cute, with matching primary color m&ms mixed with mini marshmallows, how could you not have a gourmet ice cream at the Paris Café? Costumes My favorite part of this shoot was our adorable little models and their apparel. Starting from top, we had gorgeous straw hats with little blue roses (for something different from red ribbon). Little blue dresses (found in a local shop) were matched with fabulous royal blue capes with white peter pan tailored
collars. Under the dresses were the most adorable puffy matching blue tutus you ever did see. The perfect addition to make the outfits come to life!

How to make a paper straw braclet or necklace You will need 1. Paper straws (Color & Size preference optional) 2. Thin Ribbon (Color & Size preference optional) 3. Print out of your character (We used our Madeline inspired girl) 4. Scissors 5. Hole Punch Directions 1. Take your paper straws and cut into 1-1.5 inch pieces, set aside. 2. Take your ribbon and measure how big you would like it (If you are making a necklace hold it to your
neck line and determine how much you will need. Same method applies to your wrist for a bracelet.) 3. Cut your image of your character off of a sheet of paper. For best results use a thick bright white card stock. Punch a hole at the top of the character so you can easily string through your ribbon. 4. Take half of your paper straws and string them through the ribbon (be sure to tie a knot at the opposite end or hold tightly so you have them stay put.) Add character to your creation. Add second half of paper straws. Tie and knot (or bow) the end of your necklace or bracelet. 5. Wear and show off your party creation with friends!

Maleficent is my all time favorite Villain and in honor of the new Disney movie premiering on May 30th, I collaborated with several amazingly talented party ladies to create a Maleficent inspired dessert table. I searched and searched for the perfect graphic to use for my stationery, finally I came across a beautiful hand cut silhouette

made by Isabel Talsma. With Isabel’s permission, I used her artwork for the party stationery and Lauren of Ten23 Designscreated the beautiful silhouette and frame for my backdrop. To set the stage, I dug out my spooky glitter trees and crows from my Halloween decoration stash and made a table cloth out of purple rosette fabric. Roxane of Fancy
Cakes, sent me the beautifully detailed lace fondant cake with matching topper. Pictures truly don’t capture it’s beauty. It is stunning in person! The ever so talented Katherine of Creating Awesomenessity sent a big batch of cookies, including the hand-painted silhouette cookies and my personal favorite, the Maleficent /Dragon
scene. Autumn of Autumn Lynn’s Chocolate Sins made glittery candy apples and cake balls on glitsy sticks sent from Painting Paris Pink which brought the perfect amount of glitz to the table. Along with the damask chocolate covered oreos which added a touch of elegance. Hakima of Kima’s Konfections created the gorgeous and
perfectly matched fondant cupcake toppers. My friend, Jamie, made delicious multi-layered candy apples and candy dipped pretzles for the kiddie table. Rachel from The Bottlecap BOWtique sent a lovely Maleficent mirror and hairbow set. My boys and I built and painted the dragon wooden puzzle I found at Michaels for the table
centerpiece. Using my Cricut Explore, I made the cupcake toppers, favor box embellishments, straw toppers, photo props and cupcake wrappers. I’m thrilled about how it all turned out and I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to collaborate with such a wonderfully talented and generous group of ladies!
