Eating Out With Children
Where to go? Well, tried and tested is always a good idea. You know the menu, the people, the place and you know your kids will love it. Carvery style means minimum waiting, and restaurants with indoor games areas and mini soft plays are often a winner. Some restaurants have outdoor play equipment that is so amazing you may want to have your tea there as well as your lunch! Most places serving food are pleased to welcome children, and offer dedicated kids’ menus and activities for them to enjoy at the table.
Children of all ages can make the most of a buffet style meal. Chinese, Indian, even pie buffets, for example, are perfect for trying a bit of this and a bit of that, and discovering new foods your youngsters like.
Wherever you go, do ring ahead to book. You can request high chairs, a quiet table in the corner, or make the restaurant aware of any other requirements in plenty of time. You can also check your chosen place to eat definitely has a table available at your preferred time. The last thing you want is to turn up for dinner to be told they are full.
