Introduction A Residential Project for a professional Chef in Singapore , Justin Quek. He is the first Asian chef invited to participate in Lufthansa's Star Chefs. His specialty is in Franco-Asian cuisine. Media: SketchUp,Autocad and Adobe Illustrator

Design Aspiration

Harmonious, warmth, and personal. Inspired by Justin Quek’s social and down to earth pesona, INtimité portrays the intimate relationship of Justin Quek and his family.

Sophisticated, classic and harmonious elements are applied in the design. Kitchen and dining area are connected to each other to showcase the main concept, INtimité.

Living Room

Using the combination of marble, wood and a little touch of concrete finished design to projects an intimate and cozy feeling where the pesona can have their quality time. The living room serve as the focal point in this house.

The minimalist yet daring design gives contrast and adventurous feeling without tampering with the original idea of the design.

Floor Plan

The layout plan of this house has a very smooth and fluent flow which makes the home more cozy and calming. The placement of furnitures that connect with one another is used to emphasize the feeling of intimate and connection.

When experiment meets profession (Chemistry- Meraki)

Meraki meaning to do something with soul, creativity or love; to leave a piece and essence of yourself in your work. The concept of this design is to make this office “a piece”. Which means the office is connected in a way as one. This design is inspired by the chef’s love to experiment both Asian and France cuisine. The openness and connection of Asian and France cuisine in the chef’s gourmet are shown in the design where everything is open and connected

To balance and to experiment the nuance of the office, combination of wood, marble, metal, and concrete are used. The goal of this design is so that the employee can be inspired to work collaboratively and also encourage a positive reaction to each other.

Music can be as the symbol to the journey of life. the dynamic that goes up and down, rhythm that is fast and slow, high and low notes, are combined into one beautiful piece. Music helps people to engaged in spce and time. To truly embody the design aspiration of juxtaposition (contrasting) feeling in the space.

PERSPECTIVE Different layers (high and low, bright and dark) to translate the concept of juxtaposition in the space. Timeless material, contrasting colour pallete and bright, welcoming area in the entrance to enchance the hearing and quality of the speaker

Bright space with bar counter are placed at the end to serve as the centre of the restaurant. The dome ceiling is also placed in the centre to help emphasize the centre room in the end zone.

The placement of the layout and the elecated view suggest a symbolization of a journey’s complicated timeline.On the other hand, contrasting color pallete helps visiotrs to feel different dynamic and vibe, in sync with the definitionofmusicwhichisfullofhighandlowdynamics

Introduction This exhibition focuses on Internet safe guarding, inspired by UNICEF's article about safe guarding. The main characteristic of this exhibition is pixel. Pixel stands for picture element, meaning the smallest unit of an image, whether it's on the television or computer screen.

In this exhibition, visitors will experience a very fun yet still educational time learning about Internet safe guarding. Pixel fonts and images can be seen throughout the exhibition, from beginning to the end, and in every zone.

Introduction The whole story is about a child who dreams of a perfect Christmas celebration.

On the eve of 25th December, John overheard his friends, Sally & Arthur, talking about their experience during Christmas in the past years. Bewildered by the thought, he wondered what it is like to experience Christmas as it wasn’t something celebrated by his family. on his way home, he kept thinking over what he had eavesdropped. As usual, John returned to an undecorated home. Soon after, he fell asleep where a dream takes him into a magical wonderland experience. In the dream, John learnt about the traditions and festives of Christmas

EXPERIENCE GUIDE Zone 1: Christmas Houses Follow the clock pathways on the floor to houses where the doors and windows can be opened to unveil scenarios of different types of families celebrating Christmas, all with the exception of one house.

Zone 1: SANTA FACTORY A santa factory, the building inspired by a cup of hot cocoa, you can enter the santa factory where you can purchase gifts for your family and friends. Also, there will be a live performance held from 7:30PM onwards held on top at the dome, make sure not to miss this! Visitors can watch the performance by seating at the marshmellow shaped chairs.

Zone 2: DONUT HALL OF HISTORY Is Santa’s Factory a myth or a fact? Walk through the donut tunnel to learn about how the story of Santa’s Factory came about; through infographics and texts on the walls of the donuts structure.

Zone 2: DECORATIONS Who doesn’t like to play? Participate in our mini carinval games to win some cool prizes. Additionally, you can learn how to decorate a Christmas tree and how to wrap presents.

Zone 3: THANKSGIVING MARKET Enjoy the experience of having thanksgiving with your family and/or friends with our food market with seats available.

Zone 3: HOURGLASS HHOTOBOOTH Two photobooth opportunities to capture your memory of the time you had spent in this exhibition. We hope you had a memorable time!

Doing thing as simple as watering the plants, eat smart and healthy, be mindful of the environment, Singaporeans can ensure the better future for generations to come. While doing these things, we can still hold on to our precious Singaporean culture. Singapore's unique and diversed shophouse is one of the culture that shows people that they are in Singapore. The uniqueness of the shophouse has almost become an "identity" of Singapore.
