Message from our
PRESIDENT Hey Key Clubbers! This is my final presidential message, so I just want to say that I'm super grateful for all your support. This term has been amazing, and I'm super proud of all the work that we accomplished together. I've learned so much from participating, planning and leading. Through all of our fundraisers, we’ve donated roughly $700! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding Key club or if you just need any advice. I’ll see you in the halls! On Sunday February 13th, Key Clubbers gathered at this month district meeting for a MOVIE NIGHT. We watched "Howl's Moving Castle" by Studio Ghibli. It was a great opportunity for us to relax before starting a new week. Thank you to our LTG for this get-together event!

Executive election
Shout out to Carrie and Rishi ta for the ir amazing speech!!!
On February 23rd, we hosted an election meeting. Candidates for presidents and VP got the chance to make a speech about themselves and how they would contribute to Key Club further as an executive.
At the same time, Key Club executives finished reviewing applications for other positions. Results for next term exec team are now posted on Instagram.

"HEY KEY CLUBBERS! Your incoming president is here and ready to serve! I would be kidding if I said I wasn’t excited for this new term. Being president has been a dream ever since grade eight, and I am incredibly thankful to lead you guys into a new future! I really hope I get a chance to meet all of you and bond with the club more. :D Even though I’ve served as an officer for so long, I still have a long way to go, but I am prepared to dedicate everything I’ve learnt to improve the club day by day. If you’re ever in need of anything or have any questions about Key Club (or just about life in general), don’t hesitate to contact me! I love hanging out and meeting you guys, so whether it's a DM online or coming up to me in person, I will always greet you with open arms. "Hey Key Clubbers! I’m your new Vice President for the 2022-2023 school year. I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and hope to make the best of my position. A few fun facts about me are that I have a pet bird, I’m a stage manager, and I love sitcoms. As someone who has been involved in Key Club since grade 8, I hope to take Key Club to a further level. I know that everything has been slow with the pandemic happening; however, Carrie and I have a goal to get Key Club more involved into activities. We hope to create more events in which more Key Clubbers can get involved. We’re brainstorming a few ideas, and can’t wait to implement them after spring break and onwards. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, feel free to reach out. I would love to hear about them and make improvements as we go. I can’t wait to see what the future holds. 😁" PAGE 8

"Hey Key Clubbers! My name is Terry Ho, and I'm thrilled to be serving as your incoming secretary for the 2022-2023 term! A fun fact of mine is that I lived in the prairies for two years. Some hobbies of mine are that I enjoy taking walks, travelling around the city, and volunteering around the community! Even though I'm in grade 9, and this is my first year in Key Club, I've enjoyed every step of the way and am ready to learn more! My goal for next year's term is to learn something new and to make memories with the team! I'm so grateful for this opportunity, and am excited for next term!
