MASTER’S STUDIO PROJECT FOURTH YEAR OF STUDY - 2018 FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE UNIFI UNIVERSITY OF FLORENCE, ITALY

The area designated for the realization of the project is located in a very delicate point of the city of Prato. Actually, it represents the point of contact between the built of the city and a new park inside the green canyon placed next to the lot in question. The project fts right into this urban redevelopment project.

In order to better respond to this task of mediation between two diferent parts of the city that meet right in our project lot, it was decided to realize a dematerialization efect that concerns the organization of external spaces. One of the most important aspects of the entire building is the entrance cut: through the creation of an internal courtyard and the cutting of a corner of the building, in fact, the entrance of the public space inside is allowed.
