More than 225 years ago, a radical idea took root in North Carolina: higher education, funded by the people, for the people. We continue that mission today through the teaching, research and service conducted by the faculty, staff and students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We welcome you to campus and invite you to visit one of our many attractions or attend an event hosted by one of our schools or departments.

NEW VISITORS CENTER

The new UNC Visitors Center located at 134 E. Franklin Street is open to guests from 10am to 4pm, Monday through Friday. Visitors are allowed on campus at any time and you do not need to register prior to visiting. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is

open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm Both the UNC Visitors Center and Undergraduate Admissions plan to offer tours this fall.
