Printed Matter of THE FOUNDATION FOR THE PROMOTION OF SUPPLEMENTARY OCCUPATIONS AND RELATED TECHNIQUES OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN SIRIKIT OF THAILAND



1. The Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques of

Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand or “Support”.

The emblem of the Foundation is the Queen’s crown atop a lotus bud, with a raised right hand with palm held outward forming one of the lotus petals. This representation symbolizes Her Majesty’s devotion to preserving and promoting the arts and crafts which are made by the hands of the people. The Bodhi leaf, within which the design and the name of the Foundation are enclosed, is also significant, as the compassion of Her Majesty towards the Thai people is likened to the leaves of the Bodhi tree whose canopy spreads shade over the entire Kingdom. “The Support Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand” is shown under the Foundation name in Thai as appeared in the picture below:


2. The main objectives of the Foundation is to find a career and increase income for farmers and those who have low income by: Provide knowledge regarding the in-house industry and agriculture such as handicrafts, weaving and fish farming, etc. Provide training and additional occupation such as village doctor, nature conservation including animal species and environment, for instance, Forest Love Water Project, etc. Provide equipment and fund. Expand market for such products.

Incorporate with other related foundation who has similar objectives in order to expand the business.To promote the achievement of objectives.

3. The office of the Foundation is situated at Chitralada Palace, Bangkok. 4. The Foundation may receive financial support from the following: Royal money. Financial support from the Government. Donations. Income, interest and asset from the Foundation activities.


5. The Foundation consisted of no less than 6 Executive Committee but not exceeding 15 members. The Executive Committee have the right to manage, issue and approve rules and regulations of the Foundation by all means without breaking the law. 6. The very first group of Executive Committees consisted of: Her Majesty Queen Sirikit Princess Vibhavadi Rangsit Thanpuying Mom Luang Maneerat Bunnag Mom Rajawongse Supraphada Kasemsan Thanpuying Lursakdi Sombatsiri Khunying Orasa Lamsam Mr. Thanin Kraivichien Mr. Sukree Bodhiratnangkool Mr. Poomperm Krairiksh The Executive Committee shall choose one Vice President, one treasurer, and a secretary to manage the legal act or sign the document.




7. Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the establisher of the Foundation is the Chief Executive Office and is entitled to the following: To appoint Executive Director who will be in the position for a period of 4 years but may be able to get appointed again. When the Executive Director have been in charge for 2 years, half of the group will leave the position by drawing lots. Entitle to terminate the Executive Director as appropriate and entitle to appoint the replacement. The replacement will be in the position as long as the term of his / her replacement.

Entitle to appoint or terminate any of the Executive Director at any time.

8. Chief Executive Officer holds the position for life. If, anyhow, the CEO is unable to hold the position, the Vice President will be acting for until the new CEO is appointed.


9. Annual General Meeting of each year will be in the month of February to consider the following: Past business reports. Consider a balance sheet account. Appoint an auditor. Consult other related matters. 10. Extraordinary General Meeting will be called unless the CEO consider as appropriate or at least 2 Executive Director wish to call a meeting. 11. In each meeting, at least half of the number of Executive Director must attend the meeting. 12. Both Foundation’s asset and license must be kept in a well stable bank. The purchase of the Government bonds or state enterprise bonds with Government guarantees to get the most out of it, is possible. A check must be signed by 2 Executive Director. 13. The Foundation must have an accountant to keep track of the Income statement, property account and other related accounts as evidence for the auditor’s review of the financial statement.





14. The auditor must not be one of the Executive Director or any of the Foundation’s employees. 15. This Printed Matter can be amended with 3/4 of the Executive Director. 16. In case the Foundation, anyhow, was abandoned, the remaining asset will be transferred to public organization which is a legal entity according to the Executive Committee’s consideration. 17. Executive Committee is entitled to appoint Sub-Committee as appropriate. The Sub-Committee is in the position in the period of 2 years. Signed: ________________________
