05 Journal Spa CNX

a remin

Journal is a Thai distinctive perfume brand with fragrances that reflect the memories, stories, places, and time embued in traditional Thainess, presented through unique scent combinations. To illustrate the first Journal spa, I came up with the concept of “nature immersive since their perfume can evoke thousand memories of journal. Providing a natural journey experience in the space by imitating lighting , acoustice and sensation from natural could bring emotional of relax and calm to the client.

06 Space Program Bangkok Space Program Bangkok is a research and design workshop that explores how space is made for working in the city today and affects our human relationships. To work through a process of abstraction , I began to research the existing and historical relationships between work and the city. It can clearly seen that a main disruption of working is noise and movement from others. Therefore, the design of an architectural response is arranged by an angle of vision to avoid the disturbance between people as well as noise.

07 VEX: Agitated Vernacular Nowadays, the land we lived is continually diminishing due to Global warming which provides a lot of natural disasters such as flooding. I came up with the idea of vernacular living on water due to a change of topography in the future. Referring to Uthaithani, there is a raft house community which the river is their life, they live , work and earn a living from its. From my perspective, vernacular can be a process of constructing in stead of static element which can be made by villagers in particular context to match with their life and culture. The architecture is forecast to provided the innovative of floating system to make more efficiency in the future.

08 Urban Manufacturers This project intended to investigate a possible future of the proposed city to define a new way of living which encourage people to create awareness towards the way we produce and consume. Firstly, I began with reseaching in order to study about problem and solution of co-living by doing a survey and physical experiment. The deliverable for the project was provided as a system of self-service models which allow the customers to buy the package from website and construct their space by themselves.

adjustable surface studies

I challenged the wall element to study about the components of the surface which is functional for the space such as, insulation, finishing, flexibility and structure. The main purpose of co-living is ‘Sharing’ therefore, their living space should impact each other including collective area. Despite a compartment of space by wall ,it could also provide blur boundary of collective space by using benefit of flexible wall.

/ David Chipperfield The project is to develop a deep understanding of the architect’s way of thinking and designing which I chose “David Chipperfield” then applied to designing the architect’s workspace in a further approach. I started to analysed from all of his architectural design building and noticed that his architecture concern mostly in historical context surrounding . He emphasised the theme of ‘continuity’ which mean weaving the new part to the old part. “The idea that you have to disjoint history is no longer interesting” said by David Chipperfield

10 Chronoshromes Chronoshomes project is about how to design dwellings by considering the way we live through the lens of time period which also related to durability and adaptability of use. Yakuza is another social group who live in a period of month due to their ritual of hierarchy. I started to research about their habit and ritual such as routine, ceremony and hierarchy to design suitable housing for specific group of people I came up with the idea of hiding habitat inside the entertainment location to seclude Yakuza community secretly in the central of the city.
