CONCEPT
(RESIDENCE)
“LESS I S MORE” Made famous by the designer and architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe,the dictum,Less is More came to define the brave,utopian ideals of modernist design and architecture.
The goalof the project was to create a home for a four-person famil y consisting of a businessman, his wife,and their two chil dren.It has a minimal ist appearance yet provides l uxurious functional ity.The design devel oped from the function of the spaces and al so considering the cl imatic factors. The vol ume erected in such a way that there were no end to the design.

The aim of this project was to achieve a minimal ist appearance. Mies Van Der Rohe' s phrase "LESS IS MORE" is the best example of minimal ist architecture. As a result,I used this as the basis for my design.

Zaha Hadid,an Iraqi-British architect,is known for her extremel y futuristic architecture,which has curving façades, sharp angles,and harsh materials l ike concrete and steel.
