Woven from sedge cores, the yarns are very delicate. Two weavers are needed during the process, one for interweaving the weft threads, the other for controlling the treadles of the loom. The sedge core yarn and cotton yarn are interwoven as weft and warp threads, the former constantly needed to be sprayed with water to facilitate the weaving.

The knitting technique used makes the daybed strong, retain good ďŹ&#x201A;exibility and suitable for enduring practical uses. In addition, with this technique, the designer can add various twists to the pattern, giving more interesting features to the piece.

Crocheting is a technique used to create fabric by interlocking loops of yarn, a technique which gives a particular work sweetness, lightness and grace. When using the sedge core yarn to crochet, there needs to be some changes in the pattern in order to make the finished piece durable and suitable for daily use while maintaining its sweet and “feminine” look.

Created by the Chaipattana Foundation, the project aims at generating income and creating jobs for people in the Khokprong community in Thailandâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s northern province of Phetchabun. As a design student, I was invited to be one of the project lecturers who helped the community develop their own products from the vetiver grass with new techniques and methods.

After graduation, I obtained experience in online marketing as a digital graphic designer and content creator. I then returned to textile design in 2016, working as a textile designer and assistant fashion designer for Jaspal.

While my Bachelorâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s major subject is textile design and my minor subject graphic and package design, I wanted to have more experience in digital marketing design as digital marketing has become an increasingly important area of todayâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s economy.
Websites, content and online advertising are the vital tools for online marketing. Because I aware that reaching clients is as important as presenting brands through products.
