COSTS
From less than £6 per person per day!
The apartment is currently rented out by Novasol and we need to give them priority for 12 weeks of the years (at peak times). They are letting the apartment out at over 600 euros per week during the summer and 300 euros at other times. For our friends, family and clients we are happy to rent the apartment out at £250 for a week in the summer holidays, and £200 at the start and end of summer and £150 at all other times. At these rates we can’t pay for huge usage of the air conditioning or for the clean in and clean out so please go easy on the air con and leave the apartment as you left it. If you are not able to clean the laundry then please let us know and we can arrange for this but an additional charge of £50 will be levied.
THE APARTMENT The apartment is situated on the first floor with lift access from the secure underground parking. There are 2 bed rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry room, lounge / dining room and an outside balcony. The apartment can comfortably sleep 4 adults. The kitchen has a hob / oven / fridge / freezer / dishwasher / washing machine and all the expected crockery and cutlery for 4 adults. The lounge has two leather settees, a dining table with 4 chairs, DVD player and PC with a large selection of films. We are arranging internet access but at the time of writing it has not been installed. Outside there is a balcony overlooking the communal pool and gardens with seating for 4. The entire apartment is air-conditioned.

THE DEVELOPMENT Originally we were disappointed because the developer did not finish the landscaping or the pools! However the community of owners has rallied around and now the “community” that our apartment is in has two huge swimming pools and two children’s pools. Our apartment overlooks the biggest pool and gardens benefitting from a large grassed area that is perfect for children to play on. We are now really happy with the result and guarantee that you will find it the perfect location for a romantic break, golf getaway or some family fun!
THE LOCAL AREA Just 20 minutes from Gibraltar and one hour from Malaga, our apartment is within easy travelling distance of a huge number of beaches, golf courses, restaurants, and many other attractions. Within 1 hour there are.... 7 theme parks, 2 water parks, and 3 equestrian centres along to name just a few of the attractions. All the latest information can be found at www.visitcostadelsol.com. DIRECTIONS On leaving the airport, stay in the right hand lane and go straight on following signs for Cadiz A7. When you see the large San Miguel beer factory on your right, bear to the right and join the A7 motorway towards Cadiz. After about 3km, take the slip road on the right leading up to the E-15/A-7 motorway to Algeciras, just after BMW garage. Shortly after passing junction km217 (sign posted Mijas/Benalmadena) the road splits into two carriageways. To the left it leads to the AP7 toll road (says ‘Peaje’). You will pass through the toll at Calahonda and eventually come to the La Cañada shopping centre on your right. A few kilometres along from here, the road splits again and you need to take this road E15/AP7 and keep on going (another toll) until you reach Junction KM 153, Signposted Estepona,Cadiz,Algeciras (A7). At the next large roundabout take the A7 direction Algeciras/Cadiz. Follow this road until you reach the 4th roundabout (there is a turret visible from the roundabout). At this roundabout you need to take the 1st exit (right) signposted Casares. There is a petrol station on your left.
Follow this road and you will see Casares del Sol signposted, the 2nd turning on your right, enter here. Go over the small round about with the security guards hut on your left. Block 11 is about 200m ahead on your right hand side. The keys store is on by the garage door on the right hand side (the red line below takes you to the garage).

WEATHER The south coast of Spain is extremely close to North Africa and therefore the temperature can be very hot in the summer and remains mild in the winter. We have been out in February when the temperature was over 20c. The winter time is perfect for golf, exploring the local attractions or simply relaxing in the apartment and sampling some of the excellent restaurants that remain open all year round. The chart below gives the average temperatures throughout the year.
