No Better Choice...
In Winter 2012/13, Voyages of Discovery & Swan Hellenic continue their commitment to small ship discovery cruising, exploring both well known sites and hidden gems in fascinating depth. Enjoy a cruise to the stunning Norwegian fjords, or explore remote Spitsbergen. Visit some of the smaller, more far-flung Greek islands such as Delos or Symi or sail to the exotic destination of South America.
Relaxing and Enriching
See the world with Voyages of Discovery and Swan Hellenic and stimulate your mind in a comfortable and relaxing environment. Included in the price of your cruise, the unrivalled Guest Speaker programme is designed to enhance and enrich your cruise experience. Each Speaker has extensive knowledge, understanding and passion for their subject. They are all recognised authorities on a range of subjects most relevant to the places you visit and will offer you valuable insights into this history and cultures of the unusual ‘off the beaten track’ destinations. Each sailing features at least one Guest Speaker with Voyages of Discovery and at least three Guest Speakers with Swan Hellenic.
Classic Style & Elegance
A Cruise with Voyages of Discovery or Swan Hellenic is unpretentious, peaceful and charming in its understated elegance. There are no casinos or extravagant theme nights, but spacious public rooms and restaurants, cosy and friendly bars, fine food and engaging entertainments.
Make the most of your day at sea
During days at sea there is so much for you to do – enjoy a choice of informative lectures, films and music recitals. Or you might simply want to select a book from the library and relax on deck, enjoy a board game or simply watch the world go by. Attend a workshop, work out in the gym or indulge yourself in the Salon Centre. Savour the time to enjoy afternoon tea. A late afternoon talk from one of your Guest Speakers sets the scene for the ship’s arrival in the next port.
