The NCCB’s Event Planning Specialist Certication (CEPS) prepares candidates for an event planning career. One of the best ways to get recognized as an event professional in the US is to pass this exam.

A wide variety of expertise in the area of association management is required for the Certied Association Executive certication test in event planning, such as professional and non-prot experience. Additionally, you must meet specic

standards for higher education as well as ongoing education. This credential is administered by the Center for Association Leadership (ASAE).

Professionals working in hybrid and online events must earn a Digital Event Strategist (DES) certicate to understand how to create, promote, and sell virtual and hybrid events. The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) provides this course and certication.
