An Introduction To ‘Life’s A Game’ OK, this is the ‘promotional’ bit (before the science bit), to show you the benefits of reading this book in it’s entirety. At the end of the day, Life’s A Game is a service which is used by people who desire change. We want you to join us and many others, so that we can create a significant change, not just in peoples individual lives, but in society as a whole. We cannot make changes in our lives if we continually keep doing the same thing. We must be open to taking new action. Taking on board new ideas. This book is the ‘platform book’ which must be read before you begin playing Life’s A Game and start reading the rest of the book series. It will make a lot more sense if you, first, understand the motives behind the game itself. It is no accident that you are reading this book, right now, at this time in your life. Treat it as a ‘guide book’ which is going to show you that life is a game, and teach you how to make your life, fantastic. Before we start, firstly we would like to say thank you for the time you’ve given to read this information that we are going to be sharing with you. We will be discussing who we are, as people, and why we are here, in the world, as well as discovering the secret to living a successful life. Life’s A Game isn’t a religion or a sect, or even a ‘movement’. It is the way to a new state of self-awareness. However, before we get into the main stream of the information behind the game, lets have a look as to why the game exists and who it’s for.

‘Stage One’, of the game, works on 12 areas of life, which are…

Love and romance

Health and fitness

Self image and self esteem

Relaxation and personal time

Social life and friends

Career and/or business

Family

Finances

Personal development

Contribution

Addictions

Life-plan

In each of these areas, which are all interlinked, players of the game could…

Find their life partner or improve their existing relationships, if they are failing

Get fit, become healthy, build confidence and look great

Repair their self esteem by building an amazing self image and become confident in ourselves and the actions we take

Develop the ability to control their ‘perceived time’, ensuring they are completely stress free

Repair old friendships or make lasting like-minded true friends, enjoying their time socially

Develop their existing business or their career, get that promotion or even start their own business, whether it be their own or by utilising Life’s A Game as a ‘working member’

Improve their family relationships with parents, siblings or children

Become financially free, using our system and team to get debt free and earn the income they desire

Help others by contributing positively to their community, society and environment by spreading the message of being kind to one another

Open up to the idea of spirituality and become totally aware of themselves and ‘The Truth About Life’, learning to control their lives in the knowledge of who they truly are and what the meaning of life is

Expand their knowledge, their teaching skills and their learning ability by developing themselves experientially

Come off their addictions, forever, no matter what they are or the severity of it

Know their purpose to being here by examining themselves, being aware of who they are and developing a working plan to take themselves to a very satisfying and fulfilling place

So, the benefits of playing the game are immense, and the game works even if the mechanics behind it aren’t fully understood at the beginning. This book has been constructed to help you achieve the above by developing a working knowledge of what Life’s A Game is about. In order to understand fully the mechanics behind and the

philosophy’s of ‘the game’, it takes a complete willingness to be open to changing the old ways of doing, thinking and being, helping us develop the new. I’m going to assume that you have at least questioned the current ‘system’ operating in the world, in our perceived present times. Many are confused by the world religious doctrine and the Governments that are intertwined with them, which preach one thing and act another. Generally, for centuries, we have been dominated by various regimes that rule by fear and control with violence. As ‘perceived time’ moves on, it’s difficult to see the sense in any of it. Due to the world being in the power, mostly, of religion and dogma, we have purposely utilised a lot of quotations from some of the ancient manuals that exist, such as the bible and the Gnostic gospels as well as other ‘inspired’ literature available thousands of years ago, which clearly agree with the philosophy’s behind Life’s A Game. Mankind has been dominated for centuries with the ‘do as we tell you, or else’ mentality. However, this is completely the opposite of the original meaning behind a lot of the scriptures that are misquoted or misinterpreted, today. What if this old way of thinking was wrong? What if the medieval interpretations were wrong? What if the world isn’t flat? (Do you get the point?) What if a new awareness is unfolding, right now, which shows something entirely different? Well, we are pleased to tell you that we have an amazing experiential ride to share with you, one that will excite you, sometimes upset you but will ultimately make you fulfilled.

Remember that Life’s A Game is meant to be enjoyed. It’s your choice whether you accept the following information as literal or metaphorical. The game works both ways, so you are free to believe whatever you wish. Any and all denominations of people are welcome to play the game. Please don’t think that Life’s A Game is an argument against indoctrination of any sort, because the game recognises religion as a major part, or process, to be played in most peoples lives. Life’s A Game isn’t a religion, (as already stated), a philosophy as such, or a method of teaching. It is quite simply, the ‘experiential truth’ about life. It is a living, breathing, vibrant ‘path’ to acquiring the highest levels of experience to whoever desires to have them. Those playing Life’s A Game find complete happiness, are free of worry, fear, anxiety, anger and all other negative emotions that stand between us and fulfilment. It’s about becoming abundant and successful in ALL areas of life, and not just one, recognising that all our life areas influence each other, and others. As just said, this book isn’t here to debate doctrine, or anything for that matter, it is a guide that simply states the truth as it is. Know this, one thing is for certain and that is that mankind are ‘shifting’ in their awareness and the world is changing, as we scratch the surface of quantum physics and understand more about the metaphysical side to our ‘being’. We believe that all our fellow gamers, the playing adventurers, should support each other through our social network, to create their own life so that they are living their lives to the full in the 12 areas that we concentrate on, within Stage One of the game. Stage Two will be introduced in the future, which takes us much deeper

‘down the rabbit hole’, as we investigate and experience ‘spirituality’. People can play the game, on their own and in their own time, or they can play with other members. This can be done through forming teams online, or by joining offline community groups or by us working with you one on one. We help each other set achievable goals, week by week, until our lives are in full balance, enjoying each area and feeling satisfied and fulfilled. We believe you can be, do and have anything you desire and we will show you the secrets and strategies to doing so through weekly workshops, seminars, social events, the book series (more at the end) and so on. The results of taking part in Life’s A Game are phenomenal. The feeling of self satisfaction will be immense and those around you will notice the difference. It all starts by reading this platform book. As we have just touched on, the book opens the mind to another way of perceiving life. It answers the questions as to why we are really here, how the universe works and how we can create our own lives, controlling the experiences we have. It shows that ‘spirituality’ is about awareness of the self and not religious at all. It shows the true potential of human beings and allows the space to create a personal paradise, here on earth in your life, right now. It explains ‘time’ and how you control it through ‘perception’, as well as how the world is an illusion where ‘The Ego’ is King! We will also share some tools which go along with certain game ‘rules’ which will make the process a lot easier. From there, you will decide to get involved and take the challenge of beginning the first

day of the rest of your life as an adventurer, taking the opportunity of living the life of your dreams today as tomorrow never comes! Please, enjoy the process of reading this book, as YOU are the point to it all! This book is ALL about YOU. Therefore, you need to be aware of this information, so please give it a couple of hours and then let it sit in your mind. Have a look at our website also at www.lifesagame.tv

“He said; “He who comprehends the inner meaning of these words will be immortal. Permit whoever seeks never to cease from seeking until he finds. When he succeeds he will be turned around. When he’s turned, he’ll be amazed and shall rule over ALL.” The Gospel Of Thomas

A Personal Message You will love the experience this small book will give you, I guarantee it. As the author, I’d like to say that before I found my truth about life, I went through many considerable hardships. When I was approaching 40, I was urged to take my experiences, pick up a pen and paper and create a way that would help all those who are ready to listen and change their lives, do so. I trained up as a trainer, teacher and coach in order to be able to show others this message. I have been blessed to be able to build a team of specialists up around me who can help with issues that affect us in most areas of our lives. This team are dedicated to helping people improve their lives and become open to a new way of being. We’ve opened an online social retreat for people to associate with each other and host training weeks as well as special social and seminar events throughout the year. My life, and myself, have completely changed. I have had to transcend a lot of negativity on my very difficult path, as I’m sure many of you reading this have also. I’m by no means unique when it comes to failure. The hardest trials, by far and for two very different reasons, were the escaping of my indoctrination and overcoming addiction. I’d always thought I had been hard done to, blaming my upbringing or circumstances and events for what was going wrong. It took me 4 decades to understand that I had created and was responsible for my entire life’s course up to this point. Looking at what I threw

away, people wouldn’t feel very sympathetic to my plight, and so they shouldn’t. My selfish ego chased away everything. I didn’t appreciate what I had when I had it, taking it all for granted and not being grateful for any of it. I eventually lost everything that I was continually worrying about losing. I learned the hard way that thoughts become things, even negative thoughts or worries would manifest themselves. Every decision I ever made involved a ‘high risk’. Even when warned, I still took them thinking that I knew best. Looking back and examining my actions, it’s obvious that I was crying out for help. I would like to give you, the reader, a short ‘glimpse’ as to how Life’s A Game came to be born from foundations of failure. I’m sharing this information, not to boast and not to attract attention, but so that you know that I’m talking from experience, and that like many of you reading this, I know and fully understand ‘pain’, but more importantly, that we can create ‘pleasure’ from it. This personal experience shows how one simple little ‘need’ of the ego can result in destruction beyond imagination. I have had extreme experience of loss, addiction and indoctrination, to mention just a few of life’s obstacles. With me, it all started because of my ego’s need for love and acceptance. I needed to belong to something greater but I was also inherently selfish. My father was a very selfish man, therefore I inherited his gene. I was already loved and very much accepted but didn’t recognise it. I was young and immature. As the saying goes; “You don’t know what you’ve lost until you lose it.” Genetically, I was high risk of addiction, again this being an

inherited trait, and I was also experiencing confusion in my life as to what I really wanted and who I actually was. I was living a life that my parents had chosen for me. Parents do this, they were doing nothing wrong, but their choice itself stemmed from their own insecurities. I was very uncomfortable with the strict sect-like religion that I was born into and brought up in. I acted as if I wanted this life because I was trying, like all children, to make my parents happy and gain their acceptance. It wasn’t the real me and I had my doubts, even at that young age, as to it’s authenticity. I stuck it out due to fear, as we were taught that ‘the end of the world is nigh’ and we believed it. Why wouldn’t we believe it, our parents were teaching us this stuff! I was indoctrinated from birth and this made my life experience like having a terminal disease, because my thoughts were not in agreement with what I was being taught, and any deviation from this religion would result in certain death, being killed by the god who unconditionally loved me. We were told in round-a-bout terms, ‘Do as we say, or else!’. However, I was just a child and I wanted to be like all the other kids at school, rather than be rejected by them for being ‘different’. The sect I was brought up in was quite rare, making me the only one in the school which was a heavy burden. This experience taught me to lie about who I was, making up stories so that I would be accepted. I was living a lie, a double life, at such a young age and this made me guilt ridden and ashamed of myself. This guilt and shame, along with a heavy portion of fear and dread was a lot for a child to manage, flipping between personalities was no easy task. However, I became great at lying and developed

many different personalities to fit in with different groups of people, slowly forgetting who I really was. Don’t misunderstand me, this was all my own doing and my own decision. The group I’m talking about are a very caring people and there are many wonderful individuals within that organisation. As you continue to read further into life’s a game, you will see that we believe that you choose and create the life that you lead, being solely responsible for it, but more on that shortly. My decision to live this way, caused me to be who I thought other people wanted me to be and not who I truly was and this drove a rift right through the centre of my being. It was a subtle way that the ego chose to control my life, starting when I was young and impressionable. I got married in my teens, mainly to escape my parents and the indoctrination that I had. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my then wife dearly, but with a ‘normal’ upbringing, I would have left it till later to get married and not made many of the mistakes that you will learn about now. However, it was meant to be this way. I was like a ‘held back’ spring when this happened and I went off the rails thinking I could now, finally, do as I pleased. This resulted in my family ‘cutting me off’ and not speaking with me as well as my being cast out from the congregation. I was accepted back, some years later, but that’s another story. I had chosen this path, it was to serve my purpose well, but I didn’t know this at the time. The ego’s need for acceptance and belonging to something was well in play. I took my first ecstasy tablet to ‘fit in’ with my new ‘exciting friends’. This was in 1990 and I was hooked! Why wouldn’t I be, it felt fantastic! I remember feeling in-love with everyone around me with the intense feeling of pleasure that pulsated through

my body. I finally ‘belonged’ to a group of like-minded people, our ‘church’ being the rave scene. This was all a false sense of security, but at the time, it didn’t feel that way. It felt genuine. We tried to make it genuine, but the truth is that it was all chemically induced and the friendships you thought were so strong seemed not to be so when the chemicals began to ‘wear off’. As with all these things, one tablet turned into twenty in one session and the ecstasy turned to cocaine, even crack cocaine. I became more and more selfish, more and more led by my ego. Suffice to say, this slow downward spiral took place over a decade and resulted in a prison sentence, the loss of my wife and kids, the loss of my house and business, the loss of my family, my self esteem, any love I had for myself had gone and eventually I seemed to be losing my sanity. I seriously began to hate myself and what I’d become. The guilt for losing my family, my wife and kids, was overwhelming and was the source of all my thought processes every minute of every day. I couldn’t even remember who I was before the age of 15! I just didn’t know who I was, at all. My indoctrination was in complete opposition to the person I had become. I felt very alone, with no-one to turn to, so I began to seriously self-harm and sabotage myself. I truly wanted to die, and if it wasn’t for the love of my kids and not wanting to put them through it, I would have killed myself quite willingly. All this from the ego’s basic need for acceptance. Obviously, there were a lot of horrific experiences over this period of my life, but it all changed in one day! I was crying out for help. I screamed out to the unconditionally loving god of my upbringing,

telling whoever was listening that I had been abandoned. I was ready to leave this life. I truly didn’t want to be here anymore. I wasn’t seeking attention, I just wanted out! Then, that one special day, within a space of just 12 ‘perceived’ hours, I had an experience which changed my life forever (which is the subject for another book and spoken about at our stage 2 seminars). As a result of this, I stopped taking drugs, immediately, without any withdrawal. I stopped drinking the litre of vodka I drank every day. I began to rebuild my life. I got myself checked out by the doctors and I was in perfect health, my liver and kidneys were perfectly fine. I even threw away my glasses which I had worn since primary school, because I couldn’t see through them, as my eyesight was perfect. This, in itself proved to me that we live in an illusion, which is created by and can be changed by us, at any time. I had been given this amazing opportunity at a new start. A blank canvass, ready to be painted in whichever way I wished. I found true happiness with the benefits of experience. By using the tools that we share with you when you start playing ‘Life’s A Game’, I completely turned my life around, becoming successful in this game we call life, having gained the credentials necessary (the hard way) to be able to understand and help others with similar problems. I have been through a lot of growth over the years and I will tell you this, even though these times were difficult, the hardest lesson to get past wasn’t the drugs or drink. It wasn’t prison or my indoctrination (which were incredibly similar), it wasn’t even the divorce itself or becoming homeless. The toughest part of it all was the ‘guilt’. The ego is subtle and when it fails at controlling you, it will

keep coming back again and again and again. Part of ‘Life’s A Game’ is dealing with ALL of this and more. I’m living proof that this stuff works, no matter how severe your problems are perceived by you, to be. The understanding that Life is a Game with opportunities beyond imagination, saved me. It woke me up. By losing everything, I gained everything! It is an amazing experience, realising that everything you thought mattered, in life, really doesn’t. It’s all in the mind. When the ego is in control, we are governed as to what matters to us by TV, the media and other peoples opinions. When we transcend the ego, all of this ‘display’ becomes pointless, even humorous to watch. I absolutely love the following quotation, because I know from my experience, that this is so true…

“Only when he has ceased to need things can a man truly be his own master, and so really exist.” - Muhammad Anwar el Sadat (1978 Nobel Peace Prize Winner)

This small ‘guide book’ isn’t designed to take away your “A-Ha!” moment, but show you how to get there. The Truth About Life is here to help us ‘wake up’ and ‘stay awake’ and finally discover who we are and why we are here and what OUR truth, is. Some of the statements in this book will come across as if you already know the reasoning behind them. If you don’t, there is no need to worry, just go with it. As you benefit from the experiences that the game will instantly bring you, your belief in the game’s philosophy will increase and deepen. We may not understand the complexities of electricity, but we know how to turn on a light, and why.

“If you have two coats, give one to someone who doesn’t have any. If you have food, share it with someone else.” -John The Baptist

The Game Of Life Would you like to hear some great news? Life, here on Earth, is an illusion! Life is a game and the majority of us, alive today, don’t know this let alone know what the ‘rules’ are. We are not ‘brought up’ with this enlightenment, but maybe, we should be. Life’s A Game has a unique approach to living a successful life and I would like to just, very briefly, give you an outline as to the concept behind it and even though you may not understand this concept immediately, all will be explained as you take the time to read on. The concept of the game, is that we are born as an ‘avatar’, (our physical body), directed by our minds, which has two masters. One is the ‘ego’, which we will discuss in detail later, and the other is our true selves. Our game ‘arena’ is our lives in the illusionary ‘outer’ world. We have a mission or ‘purpose’ which has been set by our true selves, in order for us to experientially grow, however, the ‘catch’ is that when we are born we completely forget what that ‘purpose’ is and even that our true selves exist, being controlled by our ego and it’s several ‘needs’. It is our job to transcend the ego, remembering who we truly are and thus fulfilling our purpose. This can be seen as both daunting and incredibly exciting, as the adventure of life unfolds. Just to make matters harder, the way we grow is through ‘painful experiences’, which fortunately is always rewarded with pleasurable ones. Even though the illusion is constantly in the present, everything has a beginning and an end. This is unique to the physical universe only. Once we begin to transcend the ego, we discover that we create the illusionary ‘outer’

world and can thus begin to enjoy playing the game, experiencing what we desire. This is our reward and we choose what that reward or rewards are. By reading this book and playing the game, you are about to begin this enlightening journey and manifest your deepest desires, wake up from the illusion and remember your true self. You will shed what doesn’t matter and what is limiting you, nurturing what does matter and realising you have no limits.

“No one can slave for two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to the one and despise the other.” Matthew 6:24 In other words, you cannot keep the ego happy, slaving for it and for your true self at the same time. One must be transcended and let go, as they are both opposite ends of the experiential spectrum. The ego is extremely limiting, while your true self is absolutely limitless! However, we are brought up with an approach which suggests that people do things to us and events happen to us. We are taught that others will take from us, so we have to defend ourselves from the other people that we see around us. We are completely trained to be led by the ego, feeling insecure, insignificant and very separate from each other. This is completely wrong, however our parents, and ourselves, didn’t get a ‘how to’ manual when their, or indeed our, kids were born. As a society, we tend to go along with what we are told to do. We behave in the ways that are socially acceptable due to the rules

made by ego-led people, and these are different in most creeds and cultures, worldwide. Two things remains the same, however, in every culture and every race around the world. The first is that we all have an ego and it has the very same ‘needs’, no matter who we are, and secondly, we all operate from an inner compass which dictates whether we are right or wrong in our actions. Usually, we just repeat ‘patterns’ which we have been shown, taught, experienced or watched until we find a way that sort of works for us. Most fall into the ‘carrot and stick’ approach to control, using fear as a way of directing our families. Again, it’s the old; ‘do what I say, or else’ mentality, because it’s all we know. However, if you have had children, it’s easy to see that they are born with their personalities already firmly in place. Yes, they are a blank canvass waiting for the paint of experience, but it’s almost as if they were born knowing exactly who they are and what they want, and at a deep level have a ‘secret mission’ that will unfold during their existence. This inner knowledge is forgotten, as a child, when the ego decides to control us for it’s own advantages. This is what is meant by the following parable;

“I soon forgot I was the King’s son, and slaved for their Pharaoh. I even forgot ’The Pearl’. After their heavy food and rich drink, I fell into a deep sleep…..The King sent me letters to wake me up and remember who I truly was.” -The Fable Of The Pearl (written by the apostle Thomas)

This is essentially what all our missions are, when entering what Life’s A Game calls, ‘the illusion’. We are ‘royalty’, as our true selves, and are born into the world in a state of forgetfulness. We have ‘the pearl’ of knowledge and wisdom but cannot remember what this is. We get ‘sucked in’ to the illusion and it’s problems and lifestyles, until we begin to notice that we are being nudged into remembering who we truly are and what our mission is, which is to transcend the ego, experientially grow through life’s lessons and discover our true selves along with our ‘purpose’. Through life, we all try to remember what this mission is or was, without realising why, it manifesting as a nagging thought or feeling that we should be doing something more. We spend years reviewing our options, even looking to others to follow some set pattern of career or ‘place’ in society. For many, we are dictated to by our parents and peers, our religions or sects, our gangs and our cliques. This causes conflict, early on, and it’s supposed to because without questioning something, how do we uncover the truth? We are told it’s the truth, by other peoples ideas and interpretations, but for most, it doesn’t make any sense. It feels like trying to fit a square peg into a circular hole, furthering our confusion about what is right or wrong, what’s to be believed or not. However, there is ‘the pearl’ in all of us which drives us on, in search of remembrance. We know we have a purpose, else what’s the point to ‘being here’ at all? We do this through looking at life as the illusionary game it is. It becomes easier to play, when seeing life this way. What I know now, is that ‘the truth about life’ is OUR truth and can never be

found or be shown by anyone else in ‘the game’. It can only be found for you, by you. The reality of our existence is that things are certainly not what they seem or what we have been told, it is. In fact, it would be better if, like an ‘etch-a-sketch’, we could shake ourselves clear and start again. Up to now, we’ve been ‘led’ to believe to be true, our indoctrination whether it be about God or Darwin or Aliens, is not! Simply because it isn’t our truth, it’s someone else’s road map to a destination which may be right for them, but won’t be for us. It’s an illusion! Think about it, where do we actually live and when? Time itself is an illusion. That’s why family holidays come and go so quickly or Christmas or Birthdays. The past only exists where we live, which is in our minds, as a memory or perceived lesson. Our ‘perceived future’ can be planned for and looked forward to, however, it never arrives because we exist in the ‘experiential eternal present’. It’s always NOW. We learn from past ‘now’ experiences to plan for our successful ‘future now’ experiences, reaping the rewards or consequences of cause and effect in the eternal present. The future never comes and the past doesn’t exist! Worrying about the future, takes us out of the now and makes us miss it. If we miss the now, we will begin going with the flow, making subconscious choices, operating on auto-pilot, allowing our ego to steal away our ability to consciously create ‘the game’ our way, which can be done so easily. Our body’s even become more wrinkly, but our mind (wherever the mind is) never ages. As we stated before, we live and see and experience life from our mind. Everything else, is an illusion, like a virtual reality game, your

physical body being your game’s ‘avatar’, which plods on through life’s obstacles while you steer it from afar using your conscious mind (the real you) just like a game. You will have support as you go as well as ‘end of level baddies’ which pose as problems which, when solved, will grant you access to the next level. Once we have defeated these ‘end of level baddies’, we grow and the feeling of satisfaction will be immense. When we learn, through playing Life’s A Game, how to consciously create our own experience, our game will be amazing. When we get close to approaching ‘Stage 2’, we will begin to see the spiritual aspects of the game and the illusion as well as the reasons for us being here. It doesn’t matter how spiritual you see yourself or what your understanding of spirituality is, we do all come down to this aspect of life eventually. Spirituality, as we’ve said before, isn’t anything to do with religion or even a belief in God. It is a perceived awareness of ourselves. A deep understanding and realisation of who we are and why we are here. As we delve deeper into the game, it is very important for us to remember that there are no wrong choices, during play, only experiences and consequences. However, obviously, we can influence those experiences by making better choices. We will learn that the entire game boils down to simply, ‘transcending the ego’ and just ‘being’. However, we truly believe, here at the game, that life isn’t about sitting on top of a mountain in solitude, having worked out the meaning of it. We are in the physical illusionary world for a reason and that is to grow through experience, but also to enjoy ourselves and enjoy creating to

whatever level we desire. Our life can and will be as pleasurable as we can make it. Life’s A Game is meant to be fun and we are supposed to be happy. Those that have a particularly hard time of it, up to this point, will be very pleased to hear that ‘becoming’ can be a hell of a lot of fun. That’s why it’s called ‘playing’ a game and not ‘suffering’ with one. That’s the game of life, but it’s no picnic (unless your having a picnic of course)! It may surprise you to know that you planned this excursion into the illusionary game, before you came here. Even though we do have freedom of choice and can create whatever we wish, our plan was to learn a specific life lesson by coming here. Your life up to this point

was supposed to be,

otherwise you wouldn’t

have

experienced it. You were even supposed to read this book and take action because of it. Haven’t you been questioning your life path, recently? You are now at a pivotal point of your game, where you are going to be shown and remember for yourself, the secrets of our existence. The meaning of life, itself. How exciting we must all feel to be privileged to be alive in the illusion, enjoying life. You are about to have an amazing experience which happens a few times throughout your existence. You are about to have an epiphany. Writing this is like trying to remind a person who has suffered amnesia, to wake up and remember what they already knew. When we do ‘wake up’, everything makes absolute sense and these issues that we think we have, become lessons that we learn from, and gladly welcome in and subsequently, out of our lives. If this isn’t making any sense to you right now, then congratulations, you are

about to wake up, and what a wonderful moment that is. Once you start playing the game and getting through the personal study library, your life will change in ways you can’t yet imagine. To help ourselves wake up and understand everything, looking at our lives as a game will ease open that ‘narrow path’ that many have difficulty finding. It’s easier to use this metaphor in order to understand the reality. It will be explained as we go, and must be done in stages, in order to wake up properly, or stay ‘awake’. Looking at life in this way, gives us a much more powerful stance, helping us to make decisions ‘consciously’ with focus and insight. So, a great place for us to start, is by sorting out our avatar. We will use our visualisation ability to see our avatar in the way that we desire it to be within the illusionary world. For instance, the more we see ourselves in a particular way, the more chance we have of becoming what we see. It is all about perception, at the end of the day. So lets visualise our game and create the setting in which we want to begin playing. We haven’t started playing yet, obviously, because we will need the ‘game board’,

‘directional

cards’

etc,

however,

building

the

right

foundations now, will give us the head start and springboard we need when we get moving. We want to produce a scenario which will serve us rather than hinder us, and remember, anything is possible so dream big! If your body is an avatar, how would you like it to look? Our life’s experience is much better if we see ourselves exactly as we wish to be like, and not through the eyes of someone with low self esteem. Going through this little exercise is necessary to the

success of our game as it gives us a sense of ‘self’, a beginning and a feeling of self-control. It is our first tiny step to transcending the ego, letting the ego know that we are in control of our minds and that we decide the quality of our life. This isn’t as easy for some as it will be for others, so lets answer a few questions to help you create yourself, successfully. Remember, when we start playing the game, once you have read this platform book, we will be constructing a life plan which will involve achieving little ‘baby-step’ goals which will bring you closer to your vision, now. So, if you were the best version of yourself, right now….

How would you be dressed?

What type of body would you have?

How would your hair look?

What would you be doing for a living?

What car would you be driving?

Would you have a partner?

If so, what would he/she look like?

How much money would you have?

What type of house would you live in?

Now imagine yourself having accomplished all of the above. This is your achievable goal for yourself and is the base point of your game. Self esteem and self belief is what enables us to create freely, so cultivating it is essential and we do this slowly but surely as we go.

How would this feel, living in that house, driving that car, walking out of a clothes shop looking a million dollars, wearing those clothes with your partner on your arm? How does it feel? It is important to remember how this feeling differs from the one you usually have when getting up in the morning and over time, you will always have this feeling. Each day, when you wake up, try to see yourself in this way and smile, knowing that this is you. As we progress through this book, we will learn that we just have to ‘be it’ and we ‘are it’ already. Notice how this puts you in more control of yourself, more powerful even. Day to day, our surroundings are also created by ourselves. We call these surroundings our game’s ‘Arena’. You may not realise it just yet, but every circumstance and every experience we have in our game arena are all created by our thoughts, choices and actions. When we are being ego-led, we think that events happen to us and that this is out of our control, but we couldn’t be more wrong! The more bad things seem to happen to us, the more we treat ourselves as if we deserve these bad things. Some of us then become ‘envious’ of others who seem to be doing a little better than ourselves. In other words, ‘rot sets in’, and this is a rut the game will bring us out of sharply. It ALL exists in our heads and none of it is real. It is simply, ‘perception’. Simply by changing our perception of the arena, changes our experience of it. You see, in your game, you are in charge and no one else! You actually view the world from your eyes, don’t you? You don’t see the world through mine. In fact, everything that happens to you is experienced by you. You are the

literal centre of your universe. It’s your choice what you do and it’s you that experiences the consequences of your actions, whether they be painful or pleasurable. Others in your game arena are seemingly affected by those consequences, however, we will get into that subject a little later in this book. To create our lives, we go through a process, which a chapter is dedicated to later on, but just to touch on it for now, we go through a process of having intentions and desires to making decisions and visualising ourselves having achieved this desire. We then believe we can achieve it and take affirmative action to ensure we do. We have been doing this unconsciously all our lives. Thoughts become things. Our desires are manifested in our arena. Once we gain control of our game, we can create anything, by going through this process ‘consciously’. When creating, it is vital that we understand the rules and the process thoroughly. This we shall go through in detail shortly. As we have already touched on, and we will repeat a lot of this information for emphasis, there are two sides to every person’s mind, when in the illusion. There is our true self, the eternal reality of who we are, sharing the universal mind and being completely loving and understanding of the human condition (having chosen to come here to learn through the use of this condition). Some call this our ‘higher self’. Then there is our ‘ego’. Some call this our ‘worldly self’. The ego uses ‘tools’ in order to achieve it’s ‘needs’ even at the potential harm of the avatar, or it’s body. The use of these tools can get the ego into a state, promoting selfishness and separateness. We have all heard of the ego and the dictionary definition is at the

front of this book. We are forced by the ‘environmental-conditioning’ of our parents, grand parents, peers, ancestors, religious leaders, the media and literature to believe that we are all separate, that we are all separate entities going about our own very individual lives. However, without the ego, it wouldn’t be possible to play the game, as the game would be pointless. The illusionary world is designed to allow the true self experience the knowledge it already knows and grow because of it. To experience and learn, the true self must take a back seat and allow the ego to take over, until the person has grown enough to remember that there is a lot more to life and then transcend the ego, becoming their true self once more. The ego is born, under the illusion that it lives inside it’s avatar. This was the original ‘lie’, if you like, our banishment from our ‘edenic’ reality into the illusionary ‘hard’ outer world. The ego lives in a constant state of separateness which causes it to feel under constant threat. This creates a life which has foundations built on sand. Fear and worry rule. This fear manifests as unease, stress, dread, terror, paranoia and so on. It thrives on these emotions and is desperately afraid of ‘loss’, so much so that it unconsciously creates it in it’s arena. The ego is also afraid of failure, of non-acceptance, of being hurt and it only understands itself, thinking of it’s own feelings, having no idea about the concept of ‘oneness’, which is one of the major foundations that support Life’s A Game. Just about every ‘individual’ within the game of life is operating from the ego, as selfish separate beings all going about their ‘individual’ lives. When the ego realises it shouldn’t be alone, it becomes afraid of rejection and once again, separates itself. As a defence, the ego

will become aggressive, violent and oppressive. All the pain we experience within the game is a result of the ego’s thoughts and actions. Remembering that our true selves are ‘no part of the world’ is the key to our happiness. When we begin to see life from the ‘game player’s’ perspective, we begin to transcend the ego and become our true selves, thus being able to control the game and have a very pleasurable experience. That’s the point. Our ego’s perception is one of negativity and pain, whilst our true selves perception is one of knowingness and deep pleasurable bliss, living in the present because the present is all that is. Once we actually ‘get’ this, life becomes meaningful and we begin to notice just how amazing life is. Once we transcend the ego, problems cease to exist because our perception changes. In fact, you will find out that the whole ‘worldly’ set up is perfect. The ‘state’ that the ego gets into, we refer to as our mad selves, here at the game. It is called this because most addiction cause us to turn into and make choices from an insane perspective. Addiction places us firmly in the grasp of the illusion, with us being ‘sucked in’ to believing that the outer world is real. It is a ‘tool’ that is used to fulfil it’s needs. The needs of the ego are the need to be accepted, to be secure, to be loved, for variety, to feel significant and finally, the need to grow. This need to grow is the bridge that builds the way to the true self. It is perfect in it’s design and it’s hard work. So, lets pretend for a second that just before we were born (or before we switched on the computer to play the game) our true selves chose a game from a huge library of different types of genre. Some games are very violent, some too easy, some disturbing and

some extremely pleasurable. We choose the game and we switch on the computer. It begins and we are born. It doesn’t take long, when you are playing a computer game, to get into the midst of the action and we forget that we are playing the game and we imagine it’s real. It’s the same here. The illusionary outer takes over. We are programmed to forget in order for the ego to do it’s thing. What do we do? How can we remember why we are here? This is the question which has baffled many for centuries; “Why are we here?” The nature of the game is that there are no wrong choices, no judgement

(apart

from

your

own),

just

experiences

and

consequences that arise from our creations. Some will say that the reason for life is to serve God or a god, some say the Devil, some say money and they would all be right because it is their game and not ours. The truth about life is that it is our own truth. The whole system wouldn’t work if the ego didn’t initially take over. In the illusion, we constantly battle to remember our purpose, feeling as if there is something we have to do. We try everything we can, making the mistake of looking externally to other people, to clubs and cliques, to saviours, to gurus, to religions and so on. We get side tracked by false beliefs, symbols and labels. We get ‘won over’ by those that wish to convert us to reading their ‘map’ to their ‘truth about life’, and this will serve to teach us lessons in life and if we end up having this experience, it is because it is meant to be at that time, otherwise we wouldn’t be experiencing it. However, it isn’t our own truth. It is a vehicle used to achieve a need. Discovering the need enables us to become transparent to ourselves and allow us to find alternative vehicles or even work past the need to have

needs, which do originate with the ego. (More on the ego later). In our search, we can and do, make anything fit even if it means shaving down that square peg to make it fit the circular hole. In the end, when we leave the game, we shall return to our true form, discarding everything. When we realise the illusion, we can enjoy playing the game, being free of everything knowing that WE are all that is. The ultimate aim of the game, the key to a successful life, is to develop as individuals to such an extent that we leave egotistical ‘things’ behind and become one with our true selves which is everyone and all that is. However, the physical world is here to be enjoyed, when we reach this level of awareness so it’s perfectly fine to dip our toes in the river of forgetfulness once again, and enjoy playing. A huge part of our persona is love, joy, sharing and laughter. Getting too serious can hinder our progress. At this point, we need to shake the ‘etch-a-sketch’ and start afresh, playing the game by the rules you are about to learn and by utilising the tools which we are making available to you. Once we have visualised how we would like to be, as the avatar, we must find out exactly where we actually are, right now. Who are we at this point of our life? When this has been done, we discover where we are going, working out where we desire our destination to be in all the 12 areas we work on, and then ‘spiritually’ in Stage 2. Once we have our starting point and the finishing flag, we work out exactly how we are going to get there and this is ‘the game’. We could, of course, just continue to go with the flow as if cruising along a river, oblivious to our decision making and consequences,

however, we will at some point come across a waterfall and we will go over the edge. This can create all types of problems which would have been a lot easier to navigate if we had planned our journey and not just ‘gone with the flow’. There is a lazy argument which is in favour of sitting on top of the mountain or going with the flow downstream, but it is no where near as enjoyable as creating whatever you desire and experiencing it first hand. This is why we wanted to come to the illusion in the first place! However, there are no wrong choices, only experience and consequences, as we so often say. To seriously control our own game, we must ‘master’ the controller. Our avatar is controlled by making choices and we know by listening to our ‘inner voice’ as well as our physical body’s (avatar’s) reactions, whether these choices are going to bring a positive or negative experience or consequence. We even know beforehand that the path we are about to take, isn’t the right one and yet, sometimes, we know it’s going to be painful but we know it’s the right thing to do. Our true selves observe our ego-led avatars ‘unknowingly’ playing the game, patiently and lovingly. It smiles and sees the comedy in what goes on. It understands the way the ego gets itself twisted up and deeper into problems. It knows and sees the beginning and the end within the illusionary game. Our egos do not. As long as we continue to be true to ourselves and not try to be what others want us to be, we will find ourselves reaping honest rewards. Everything in this game we call life is available to us, however, not everything will benefit us or bring us the inner

contentment and happiness that we all crave. If we operate under the influence of our addictions, the results will be erratic and appear insane. We will look back at those moments and not recognise ourselves and, of course, when we make those sufferable choices, we indeed have to suffer the consequences of our actions. The ‘trick’ in these circumstances is not to play the victim, but become the victor of the situation by making it work for us and turning it around no matter how painful. Whatever we create that hurts us, does make us stronger. We are in the eternal now and all these bad experiences can be called upon as ‘markers’ in our decision making when creating future now’s. Many of us continue to make sufferable choices even though it hurts us and this boils down to us having certain needs as human beings that are ego-led. Our true selves have no needs, but do wish our avatar to experientially grow and achieve our ‘purpose’. Once we develop wisdom through experiencing our knowledge, everything else falls into place. In the illusion, our ego’s play out a variety of ‘needs’ from the need to feel significant to the need to be loved, the need for variety itself and it’s opposite which is the need to feel secure. It has the need to be accepted by others, as in my own early experience and most importantly, the need for growth, as it knows that to live is to grow. These ‘needs’ require ‘vehicles’ or ways to make them achievable and unfortunately, there are positive and negative vehicles at hand. This is where our addictions come in. If we lived “in the world but not part of it” then we would have no need for drugs or drink etc. Most of the time, crime is used as a short cut to attain one of these

needs. For example, holding a gun to someone’s head will bring instant significance. Certain drugs may help people feel love, especially a ‘love for the self’, however this love is a false love which will wear off. Drugs also give the user a sense of belonging. They create false friendships which end in tears. The ego loves this because it gives the ego a chance to delve into negative emotion which stops us transcending it, because we get sucked in to the illusion. One thing is for sure, and that is that while we are in the illusion, the ego will continue to present us with these needs and it is beneficial to know and to always remember when you catch the ego out, is that these ‘needs’ are also an illusion. We don’t need anything, never have and never will. Everything that we require to stay alive in the illusion, whilst we are still working out our purpose, we be provided in one way or another. Indeed, we will learn, that if we ‘want’ anything, we only have to ‘ask’ for it, believe we already have it and it is ours. Addictions cause us to act like ‘fools’. Your avatar, and mine, can’t even walk straight when it’s had too much, let alone make good decisions. We completely miss the ‘now’ when we are under the influence of addictions, which is missing our opportunity to create what we desire, because creation can only happen consciously, in the now. A horrible consequence of our negative actions has a ripple effect through ‘the whole’. We shall touch on ‘the whole’, in a short while, however for now it means that it effects others around you, even your closest and most loved. Everything you and I do, effects absolutely everybody else in the illusion. This can be seemingly unmanageable for most people and we have to look at

this phenomenon in a different way, in order to manage it. Why do negative events occur in our lives? As already discussed, when we begin to transcend the ego, to become detached from it, we see the world as the illusionary game that it is and can even see the comedy in it all. Our perception changes which also changes our experience of our ‘arena’ which is where these events take place. We create these events for a reason, and that is to teach ourselves a lesson or point us in a certain direction so as to get back on track with finding out and putting into action, our ‘purpose’. In fact we create our entire arena, because we actually are all that is. The entire world is us. That’s a big statement. Every ‘character’ that you come into contact with, when playing the game, are ‘mirrors’ of ourselves with a message to give us, from the tiniest of messages to the life changing ones, to help us expand or change. These messages will be read by our avatar and will manifest as ‘feelings’. Another person may make us feel separate, upset, angry, paranoid, confused, annoyed etc. Some will make us feel fleetingly happy, some sad. We are repelled by some and then, attracted to others even when we don’t seemingly know them. Each and every person and every occurrence and event are actually mirroring what is happening within us and teaching us. Some lessons will be great and some very minute, but every interaction with these ‘other aspects of ourselves’ pass and we grow in a positive direction even if the experience is a hurtful one. We continue through this game, we call life, gaining experiential points as we strive to increase the ‘level’ we are on. We can decide

to replay a level as many times as we desire, but eventually we will be pushed by our true selves and it will feel right to move on. This concept is what we call in the game, ‘oneness’. Oneness implies that we (humankind) are ALL one that is described as ‘the whole’. We are individualised parts of a whole consciousness, all running around gaining valuable experiences which are shared in order to allow ‘the whole’ to grow. We are all that is. We are all made up of the same ‘stuff’. That stuff is zooming around, vibrating at different levels until the brain interprets it into what we see in our arena. If we didn’t have the part of the brain which does this, everything that we think exists and is solid, wouldn’t be. (Please read the ‘It’s ALL about YOU’ book, which shows the scientific evidence of this and goes into a lot more detail as to how the avatar is made up and why). This concept is very hard to grasp while we are submerged inside the illusion, but look at it from the outside player’s perspective, as the external ego-free mind which is creating and controlling this ‘game’. Go to the place of the universal mind, which never ages and examine your interaction with others. Look at the synchronicity and coincidences which come into your life. Notice when you think about someone you haven’t seen for years, and all of a sudden, they appear in your arena as if by surprise. Or notice when you think about someone and the phone rings, it being that actual person. How does the right book, literally fall into your lap, when you are looking for the answer to a question? Why do things just seem to come along, just at the right time? Why do you think you really get feelings of déjà vu? This is because you are unconsciously creating these events, just like your thoughts and

intentions are creating the negative ones. Be honest, can you not see yourself in other people, even if it’s your dark side you are watching? Or, is there a part of you that dislikes this individual because they display a side of you that you don’t want to or like, admitting? If you truly believed that these other people were you, how would you treat them? Knowing what you know about the true self, how would that higher self treat them? How would your ego treat them? Realising how you treat others is a sure sign, to yourself, as to where a bout's, on the ‘wake-up ladder’, you are really on. Would our true self be all forgiving? Yes. Would our true self be constructive and patient? Yes. Wouldn’t it be an amazing environment if we all acted and thought this way? Wouldn’t it be amazing if we all took the time to understand why others are acting the way they are, by seeing the mirror and realising that we are displaying these characteristics somewhere in our lives. By changing ourselves, we change them. We cannot change a person by telling them they must change. We have to transform the arena by transforming our insides. It is all to do with feeling. If a person makes us feel lousy by their actions, then we are making someone feel lousy through ours. If someone makes us feel great, then we are making someone feel great. This could be in different ways, of course, as all the individual aspects of the whole (or people) choose different ‘vehicles’ to perform their actions. However, it always boils down to the same ‘needs’ and once we realise this, we will begin ‘winning’ our game of life and transcending the ego. When we do work out why events are seemingly happening to us, we can alter

ourselves by looking in the mirror and this will cause the negative events to fade away and be forgotten.

“Be the change you want to see in the world.” Ghandi Until we do, this occurrence will continue to happen, on a cycle. Dealing with these perceived problems, brings us into the now and is a great way of de-cluttering our lives, thus getting ‘simpler’. So what about these ‘things’ that clutter our life? What about possessions? Having them is great! There is nothing wrong with any choice that we make in the game. ‘Things’ can bring immense pleasure into some peoples lives, but they can also cause a lot of pain. It is the pursuit of possessions that can have a negative effect on our avatar and temporarily stop us from transcending the ego. If we get ourselves into a situation where all we are doing is working to pay off the loans we took out to buy ‘treasures’, then we aren’t living the life we intended. It is a lesson, however, one that we must work through and past. Remember, that the avatar can feel very comfortable, when rich, and this can cause us to be sucked into the illusion because the ego will pop up demanding things, and this is OK! There are no wrong turns, and being wealthy is incredibly exciting which does bring it’s own joyful experiences as well as painful ones. That’s the game. However, always remember that the ‘things’ you possess are also an illusion, and the only person who cares about you possessing them, is you. There is a reason for ‘things’. The ego will

think others do care, but they don’t. Your arena displays your creation and no-one else’s, so every person in your arena has been put there, by you, in order for you to learn. You are in their ‘arena’ because you have a mutual ‘lesson’ that you both, at some level, have agreed to act out. It is all meticulously planned. It is perfect. The truth is that if you don’t store your treasures in the illusion, as the quotation states at the beginning of this book, the illusion cannot take them away. If you concentrate on building up illusionary possessions within the game, they can and most probably will be taken away at some point. Everything only exists because it’s opposite does. You couldn’t have hot without cold. You can only have riches, by creating or experiencing poverty. You can only experience pleasure, once you have appreciated pain. A step in the right direction is for us not to be possessed by our possessions. If you worry about losing them, you will lose them. There are tools which we can use to help us achieve the experiences that we desire. If we were a master of the game, we could experience our ultimate desires immediately and manifest them as if by magic. Water into wine, we might say. Surely our ultimate goal is to enjoy a state of inner contentment, happiness and develop an awareness of who we actually are. When we experience this, which is rare but does happen at the strangest times, sharing it with others so that they too can have the experience is incredible. Contributing to each others happiness is the ultimate emotional feeling and the closest we can get to our true selves whilst here in the illusion. Lets face it, and we touched on this earlier, everything

boils down to emotions and feelings! It’s ALL about ‘feeling’. We choose ‘vehicles’ to experience a feeling. When companies sell their products, they aren’t really selling their product, they are selling the feeling that people associate with them. We are motivated to try out things, to buy things, to eat things simply because of the feeling we get. These feelings are varying degrees of pain and pleasure. We are motivated away from pain and toward pleasure. However our ‘needs’, within the illusion, sometimes make us choose painful options or vehicles in order to meet them. Being aware of the illusion allows us the luxury of choosing better vehicles, ones that give us the same feeling that we are looking for. We can have, do and be anything we desire, so what would be beneficial for you and for ‘the whole’ (other people) and be pleasurable to action that could replace the usual negative vehicles that we choose? We only choose negative vehicles because it’s all we think we know, however, we know everything there is to know in the known multi-verse. We just have to remember by tapping into the universal mind and we do this by asking. Simple isn’t it? So by changing our perception of the events that are occurring in our arena and by realising that we are all that is and that we can create anything we desire, just by asking for it (more in the Creating Abundance section), we will begin what we call in the game, ‘becoming’. Earlier we touched on sharing that feeling and knowledge with others and we have also discussed that others are aspects of the whole, or ourselves, out there in the game. Think of it like this…

We all know each before we come to the illusion to learn. We all decide which parts to play and when our characters will interact. We lovingly give each other permission to hurt ourselves (or give each other joy), if necessary, so that we can all achieve the growth that we are going to the illusion to achieve. We know we aren’t really hurting each other, because it’s a game and is not a real reflection of how much we care about each other. We are all individualised parts of a one whole consciousness. We cannot cease to exist, be aware and conscious of being alive. Once we get to the illusion, we all play out our parts and don’t remember anything beforehand. When we are ready to leave the illusion, we die which gives us a doorway out of the illusion and we meet up again, fully aware of who we are, afterwards to see how we did. We then decide whether to play again or not. This is an extremely simplified version of what actually is, however, it is the truth nonetheless. A way of understanding ‘the whole’ is by using the analogy of the human hand. Lets say you cut your little finger on a piece of paper. You will feel the pain in your little finger. The other fingers will not experience this pain, even though these fingers are part of the one whole hand. Each finger is individual yet ultimately belong to the whole. In the same way, each individual being belongs to the overall same abundance of dynamic energy which makes up everything that exists. They are individualised parts of the whole, all sharing one abundant consciousness, yet having individual experiences. It is perfect in it’s design. Each individual part

shares a directional system which points us toward

enlightenment and away from the dark. This directional system has

a direct effect upon our avatar. Our physical bodies will ‘talk’ to us, through physical feeling, when we are not on track with our purpose or when we are to notice a lesson which we must deal with and move past. Making bad decisions is the main cause of bad experience and as we shall see in the ‘Creating Abundance’ section, bad decisions are born from the wrong intentions. Our internal physical system will help us to make better choices. To explain this system, it’s like being born in the arctic and only ever experiencing the temperatures that are there. You don’t know it’s cold. It just is what it is. Then you are suddenly transported to South America where it’s hot. You recognise and appreciate the difference. You call this new experience hot and your other experience cold. You may get joy from the state of hot, more so than from the state of cold. Whichever way feels best, you couldn’t enjoy one without the other, or at least have a preference. It goes from ‘what is’ to ‘what can be’. Having an illusionary world of opposites allows the birth of ‘possibility’. In this way, not only did all things in the physical world come into creation, but also this inner moral compass, which is full of both negative and positive experiences, gives us the chance to make preferred choices. We may use this to make better life experiences. The ‘tools’ that we share with our adventurers who are playing the game, when applied daily, will enable us to have an incredible life experience. However, here in the illusion, just as cold needs to exist for us to experience hot, so does pain have to exist before we can appreciate pleasure. This is why the solution always follows the problem. Without the problem, a solution wouldn’t be

necessary and therefore would not exist! Before we go on to discuss how we create our lives and the system that helps us become abundant, we can make a start by visualising ourselves as we would desire to be. It is now important to establish a starting point before actually playing the game. So, where are we, right now? In the eternal experiential now, right now? This is different for everyone and there are no wrong places or wrong levels, just individual starting points. Do we like our starting point, or would we like to alter it? Ask yourself, what would my experience be like, one year from now, if I stay exactly the same and don’t do anything different? If you continue doing exactly what you’ve always done, then guess what, you will never have anything different from what you already have and you will remain the same ‘size’ experientially.

“Insanity is repeating the same action, but expecting different results.” -Albert Einstein If you’re playing a racing game and you take the corner too fast, you WILL crash! If you take it the same way again and again, you will crash every time. The corner will not change to make it easier for you to take. YOU must do the changing. We must all alter the way we take the corner so we can stick to the road and see what’s next, just around the corner. It is the same for everyone, without exception. How would it feel to be exactly where we desire and dream to be? If our mind controls our perception and our perception

changes how we see things, what is the process that we need to apply? The mind also controls our emotional feelings and ultimately, then, our happiness, so what is the process that we need to apply here? As we have already touched on, YOU are the centre of YOUR experiential universe. We have also established that every decision you make has a consequence and will create your ‘perceived future now’. However, in order to reach our desired destination in our game of life, we need to know three things… The first is to understand who we actually are before understanding and deciding where we desire to be. We do this by using the tools in our 7-Day Journal. All adventurers may either use our offline ‘leather bound’ organiser which contains 12 months of journals as well as our ‘tool books’, or they may use the web site and use a download of the 7-Day Journal, each week. Once we work out where we are in each of the 12 areas that we work on, we need to discover where we desire to be. Again, the Journal takes care of this. Once we have the starting point and the destination, the game will take us from start to finish, step by step, creating your own map to a successful life as you go. Remember, there are no wrong choices, only experience and consequences. We shall examine the 12 areas that we work on, a little more. It will be advantageous to know in which areas of life, you are about to change. The ego lives within the illusion, which states we are individual and we must understand this from the ‘player’s’ point of view for us to take control of our mind, gently transcending the ego and becoming. The more in control we are, the better choices we make which gives

us a better experience. Having the ability to be understanding and forgiving helps our perception change about a person or a situation or event. These events or people appear within the arena within 1 or more of 12 areas, which are…

Addictions

In Stage 2 of Life’s A Game, we tackle the area of Spirituality. However, in Stage 1, we prepare for this by working on the above areas first. When we begin playing, you already have an idea of who you desired to be. Going one step further, using the Journal, you would establish your starting point, or exactly where you actually are. Also, we would work out where we desire to be eventually. The game uses ‘self-measurement tools’, ‘directional

cards’, a ‘game board’, ‘Journals’, a ‘specialist local team’ and our ‘tool’ and ‘personal study’ book library to enable the adventurer to get to their desired destination. When we begin playing, we can view our life, on our game board, as a picture. Like this, we can see which areas require more attention than the others. Often, one area does affect the other. Each week, we shall set baby-step goals which will positively effect each area, thus improving our experience of it. Over a period of perceived time, we will move past the obstacles, create solutions and construct a wonderful life experience, whether it’s being an amazing parent or a successful entrepreneur. It really doesn’t matter what your ultimate desires are as no one, apart from yourself, is judging the actions you take. As long as we hold the vision that we owe to ourselves to enjoy life to the full. Take your time, with your desired goals, starting off small and then making them bigger as your belief in your truth about life grows. Anything is available to you. Everywhere is accessible for and by you. Once you have realised ‘the truth’, that life is an illusionary game that we create, then we can have a lot of fun with it. Our perception of life will change and our arena will change also, mirroring our perception and feelings instead of dictating it to us. For now, lets examine the 12 areas, and mention an example of a baby-step goal in each of these areas…

1.

Love and romance

This area refers to your significant other, or lack of. Maybe you feel that you don’t need a ‘partner’ or maybe you feel desperately alone

without one. Whichever it is, your first baby step goal towards your ultimate result could be to join a dating agency or to attend a singles night with friends, or put your toe in the water by joining a social online network just to build your confidence. The options out there are endless for you to meet that special one. All it takes is a leap of faith. Also, thinking outside the box and being creative will help you find someone. You may join as a member/adventurer of the game and attend our social events or meet someone in our chat zone online. If people are having relationship issues, we also have a specialist team member who deals specifically with this subject, so by contacting them this may help the issue.

2.

Health and fitness

Again, this is an obvious heading, however, it is one of the hardest areas to improve as people have great intentions but don’t follow through with action. However, playing the game is a lot easier with a healthy avatar. Our system will stop procrastination, but you have to see yourself as someone worthy of being fit and healthy. Obvious first steps would be to join a gym, however if this is impossible for you then going for a walk each day is a great start (or any equivalent exercise, which are listed in our 7-Day Journals). We have a Personal Fitness Instructor as well as a Nutritionist on our local team who would be more than happy to talk with you and help you.

3.

Self image and self esteem

What an enjoyable and fantastic area to work on. We can have

some fun with this one. Most will focus on all the bad things that have happened to them and what made them this way. By looking at this area as the game player, we are grateful for what we have gone through in the past because this is what has made us what we are today. No one is to blame, everything has been unconsciously created by ourselves. Once we realise this, we will be in the perfect position to change the direction of our life. It’s ALL about YOU! You are the centre of your universe. You will also not be able to love another or even help another without first helping and loving yourself. Look to nature for the example, which works in so many areas of life. A mother lion will ensure she is well-fed in order to remain strong for the survival and protection of her cubs. If she gave all the food away, she’d die and so would the cubs, shortly after. Even though the game is about contribution, sacrifice and giving, we must take care of ourselves so that we have something to give at all. It isn’t selfish, having a good self image or having optimum self esteem. By showing yourself that you are worthy of love, you will attract it from other areas. Remember to see yourself as the avatar that you design and create. If you look clean, feel clean, are well groomed or wear clothes and colours that make you feel confident and feel great about yourself, the game arena will mirror you. Your inner mood will be happy. Like attracts like. If people like you, then they will be attracted to you. The happier you are,. The more happier people will be in your game arena and this has a knock on effect which will ripple out through the whole. So go shopping, get a new hair style or even call our Image Consultant on your local team to help you.

4.

Relaxation and Personal Time

Again, many people find this area difficult. The society we live in thrives on stress and creates many workaholics. When people perceive the times as being tough, it causes a lot of unwanted anxiety and stress which is the main cause for most of the physical illnesses in the illusion, which are again, a lesson or signpost. Some people, conversely, may be extremely bored with their arena. The key is to enjoy this boredom by getting the most out of the now. When people are in the state of ‘boredom’ or are under stress, problems may manifest in the mind and go round and round, constantly circulating and making matters worse. We have to remind ourselves that we are in the illusion. A great baby step goal would be to sit down and get a pen and paper, then make a list of things, events, activities and people that you enjoy or could enjoy. Try and combine as many as possible and put some time aside to just do it or get involved with what you like doing. Keeping ‘busy’ in relaxation is forgetting about your stress for a while and remembering that they aren’t real, only lessons which will be solved at the right time for you. You could de-clutter your mind by writing a list of everything that’s bothering you and tackle each one as you go down the list. Once the list is done, you will be free to enjoy your arena.

5.

Social Life and Friends

Maybe we have a plethora of friends or maybe we don’t have any. The game is a lot more exciting when we do have friends to be able to mix with, enjoy our time or support each other. A great way to

begin making like minded friends is by getting involved on our own social network. We host 4 Social & Seminar Events each year. At these events, as discussed at the back of this book, we have a our Life’s A Game content as well as a dinner and a dance and singles introductory evenings, so they can be a lot of fun. Or, a way to make existing friendships stronger is by buying a few ‘thank you’ cards and telling your friends how much they mean to you and why. If you have upset certain friends, ask them to forgive you or even pick out their best attributes and point these out to them. Get creative! Remember, it doesn’t have to involve money. The best things in life are free and kind words cost nothing at all. Arrange a surprise party for your friends, for no reason. Bear in mind that all people are mirrors for each other and like attracts like. The smallest of kind gestures has a profound effect on the whole. If you make a person feel great and you do this from a loving perspective, what will be the consequences of that?

6.

Career and/or Business

Whether you want to get a promotion at work, get more enthused about your existing business, make more money, start working for yourself or even begin working for and alongside us, at the game, it’s all to do with your mindset. You have to know what it is you want. What is the outcome you desire? Creating a business or a better lifestyle opens all sorts of opportunities within the illusion. You will meet people you would never have met before. Doorways open to wonderful learning and growth opportunities. If your business is contributory in some way, to the whole, imagine the

positive consequences. Remember that negative will attract negative. The more down and depressed we get, whilst we are sucked into the illusion, the more of this we will see in our arena. If you haven’t got a job, get down to the job centre or give us a call or email and start working for us. If you want to work for yourself, you can give it a life by ‘naming’ it. Try talking to our Career Coach or resident Business Coach about your ideas. You will need direction, motivation and most importantly, self belief. If you don’t believe in yourself, how do you expect others to? Your belief will grow as you achieve your baby-step goals. It is equally as important to do what you love and love what you do, as a career, as long as it’s good for you AND good for the whole.

7.

Family

Some of us don’t have family and some of us couldn’t survive without them. Obviously, if there are problems, it would be ideal to try and solve them. Maybe a simple post card to your family members would remind them that you care. Even deciding to make every Sunday a family day for the kids would improve your life’s experience. Be creative with your family and test your limits. Set up a treasure hunt in your back garden for the kids and invite round the neighbours! Forgiveness and gratitude are key to happy families. Your family are the immediate ’mirrors’ in your life and are who your true self chose before essentially ‘turning up’. The lessons they teach are vital to your progress, no matter how painful they may be. Loving your neighbour as yourself means being the mirror to them for them to respond and learn how they must change. The more

forgiveness and love you show, the more you will see.

8.

Finances

These are one of the main reasons for upset, family breakdown, divorce and long hours of work that exist in the game. This is the dichotomy of money. It’s great for enjoying but it can bring a lot of pain. Learning to manage it properly with respect, is the key to stable finances. Money can be a vehicle to enjoyable fabulous things and wonderful experiences such as family holidays or eating a meal in a fine restaurant or even buying a gift for someone. Contributing money can be a wonderful way of giving back. Bear in mind that money is an energy used to create experiences within the game. By chasing money, we are sending out the wrong message and this will not manifest it. By visualising what we desire and concentrating on achieving this desire and the feeling we get from it, will manifest the energy required to experience it. The arena will change form to produce our creations. Whatever is pursued will evade us, whether it be money, love, anything. We must attract what we desire by becoming what we desire (more about this in the Abundant Avatar section). We reap what we sow. Like attracts like. Again, we have a specialist within our local team who can help people with issues such as debt, investment, saving and ‘creating’.

9.

Personal Development

This is all about expanding yourself experientially. Books are wonderful ‘manuals’ designed to help you make choices in the eternal now. How do you know what you are reading wasn’t left as a

sign to wake you up? A lot of communication from the other levels, which are discussed in Stage 2 of the game, come through books. Taking part in a course is incredibly valuable. Joining a library is a great first step to take. Join a book club or attend a seminar. Take up our special invitation, in this book. Remember though that books are other people’s maps to their truth about life, however, can be used as a signpost to sending you in the right direction for your game. Personal development is all about your growth. We have to learn by going inside and using our conscious minds to remember what we already know.

10.

Contribution

We touched on this in the finances section. Contribution is the key to a successful game and the key to experiencing happiness in our lives. It’s a beautiful mechanism for interacting with other characters who you would never have come into contact with, before. The act of helping another not only causes us to feel great, it also makes others feel fantastic. Everyone’s a winner when contribution is involved. It doesn’t have to be money. It could be a giving of our time. It could be simply listening to another’s issues. It could be performing random acts of kindness for people. When we finally ‘get it’, when it finally twigs why we are here, contribution occurs as naturally as breathing oxygen.

11.

Addictions

Addiction doesn’t have to be alcohol or drugs. It can be the slightest of ‘crutches’ such as routinely baking a cake and eating it all, to feel

better. It could be being addicted to an ex-partner. It could be gambling. When we are addicted to something, especially those things that harm the body and alter the mind, our ego’s are getting into that insane state that we touched on before. We are no longer in control of the game, but our ego’s most certainly are. We are ‘sucked in’ to the illusion, forgetting that the game of life is just a game. It becomes a chore, even a horrific experience at times. One member, I know, had a terrible time letting go of the pain killer, Tramadol. They would feel desperately ill when trying to come off the tablets. So, even though they were playing the game, the drugs were hindering their progress because they couldn’t function without them. Taking steps will alleviate the addictions and we recommend that when you start playing, you talk to the founder of Life’s A Game, or to our specialist in the local team that deals with addiction. We will talk about addiction some more in the section entitled ‘The Ego & It’s Obstacles’ later. Finding out why we choose harmful vehicles, helps us identify our ‘need’ for them. By finding out the ‘why’ we can introduce better vehicles which still fulfil the ‘why’. When we wake up to the illusion and know that our addictions are also illusion, we begin to have no needs and therefore the addictions are pointless. We will be ecstatically happy when we transcend the use of vehicles. By playing the game, we guarantee you will. You will leave those addictions behind. Forever.

12.

Life-Plan

Only 1% of the population of planet earth make long term plans. People forget that our perceived future now’s are better when

planned for, and are decided about in the now, now. Confusing? We create by firstly, dreaming about our wants and desires. Our decisions form the template for our future experiences. Many find it beneficial to plan for the day or maybe organise the next month, but people forget to dream about the future. When we plan, it sets the seed of creation out there. We then only need to water it and let nature do the rest. By setting these seeds our future now’s will be as we designed them to be rather than just going with the flow and going over the edge of a waterfall! You can be, do and have anything and everything you desire within the illusion. By using our 7-Day Journal and playing the game, we take you through a life plan and get you on track, so don’t worry, we show you how. Before we get into the ‘science’ behind how we create our desires, and you are going to learn this before you start playing the game, we would like to just emphasise what the game is and how it works. We have to use a metaphor to explain it because the reality is that the secrets of the universe would, and do, fill volumes upon volumes and would be extremely difficult for us to understand, as our avatar. This book is a short cut to understanding these complexities, like a light switch turning on the light, remember? We may not know how electricity works, but we know that if we flick that switch, we can see. This book and the game, has the same effect. Play the game and the light comes on. This topic will be discussed in more depth at our seminar. First of all, forget time as we think we know it. Time doesn’t exist the way we were taught. Science and quantum physics is now proving this to be true, as we scratch the

surface of the multi-verse. Imagine your universe as a huge ball of elastic bands. Elastic bands are circular in nature, having no beginning and no end. When we are born into the illusion, we jump onto one of these elastic bands. We begin moving around it. This is our ‘game arena’. We will go full circle, some faster than others, until we end up where we got on. Time isn’t moving. There is no time. There are just a series of ‘now’ moments which we ‘see’ and experience as we move through them, like moving down a corridor of TV sets displaying the results of our possible choices. Our choices affect the screens we are looking at. If we would have made choice A, we would look at the screens marked A. If we chose route B, we would view the screens marked B etc. There are thousands of different screens that we can move around. The ball is the whole consciousness and there are billions of individualised aspects of the whole moving around billions of elastic bands, having different experiences. One of these aspects is you. One is me. One is the President of the United States, one the Prime Minister. One is in Medieval times and one is in the perceived future. Consciousness remains stationery as we pass through it. Time does not pass us by. When we get off our elastic band, we will hop on another. All the aspects share the universal mind and manoeuvre themselves to be in the right places at the right times for experiences to be had by all. It is perfect in it’s design. This is the level of the game that we are on and there are many other levels that we shall one day experience. When an avatar dies and leaves the game, the one consciousness still exists, therefore we will always remain ‘aware’. We will never cease to be, just be someone

else, sharing the same consciousness but having a different experience. More about this in Stage 2 of the game. Our true selves already knows the contents of the ball of elastic bands, but it has to create the ego and avatar, in order to experience what it already knows. Imagine having all the knowledge that exists, but no experience of it? This is why the physical universe came to be, for exactly that reason. Once our experience of oneness begins, and it will, then we can start playing Stage 2. For now, this is a brief and rough look at the game and how it works.

“They answered, ‘shall we, being as children, come into his kingdom? Jesus replied, ‘make the two into one and the inner as the outer and the outer as the inner, the above as below, the male and female into a single one...when you make two eyes into a single one...a picture into a picture, then you’ll enter the kingdom.’” The Gospel Of Thomas Once we see that we must start playing with the game in mind, we must re-emerge into the illusion with these new insights. We shall see everything very differently. Fear will cease to be. Reemergence is an art. We are learning how to perform perceived miracles in our daily lives. This is an incredible experience and such a privileged place to be. Once we realise that we aren’t our ego and

that we create everything that is, we can reinvent ourselves the way we wish and we can mould our experiences to be exactly as we desire it to be, right now. We will start to love ourselves, realising that all our past shameful actions were meant to be and necessary for our development as well as those involved in them. Guilt will cease to exist because everything that has happened up until now, was meant to be. It was supposed to be because it happened. If it wasn’t supposed to be, it wouldn’t have happened and on a level, everyone was in agreement for this to happen at that exact time. So, we have nothing to be sad about, guilty for or stressed over. However, if we are at this point, we must responsibly create our future now's with this in mind. There are consequential rules to our actions as we know only to well. When we begin loving ourselves, the arena is forced to change, the outside world reflecting the inner one. The arena has no choice but to change it’s form to our will. Don’t get me wrong, we are free to make terrible and horrific choices, as long as we are ready to experience horrific and terrible consequences. That’s freedom of choice. If we do, it is and if we don’t, it wasn’t to be. The key to reemergence is to keep seeing life and the arena as the illusion it is, and not get sucked into it. We all do though, as this is the game. It’s so easy to become part of the deception yourself. Before you know it, you will wake up from it and realise that you’ve been a part of the illusion for a few days, even though you wake up and it’s still now. You will notice that when you are part of the game’s illusion, your ego self is in operation and things seem to matter, even hurt. A

single sentence from another aspect of the whole can throw you off at any time. This is when it is wise to notice our physical reactions to the situation. You may feel angry or tense. Your shoulders may start to feel tight or you may develop a headache. Whatever it is, you can bet that the illusion has sucked you in. The key is to remember that you are in an experiential eternally present game. Have that wake up moment. They will increase in quality and quantity until eventually you will be in the world but not part of it. When this does occur, look up to the sky and feel the wind on your face. Feel the sun’s rays. Focus on your breath. Look at trees and try to centre yourself, matching your breath to the way that they move with the wind. Your avatar will de-stress and your aches will fade away. Remember you are in the now and notice your avatar. There is nothing to fear and nothing can really harm you.

“For God’s Kingdom dwells in your heart and all around you. When you know yourself, you too shall be known.” The Gospel Of Thomas Once you have woken up, tackle the issues that are in front of you, because the solution will become apparent in this state, as if you already knew the answer but couldn’t see the wood for the trees, so to speak. We all deal with negative and positive times and some of the readers reading this book would have dealt with or be dealing with atrocities, but they WILL pass. Once you remember who you

truly are, the universe that you create around you will not have these atrocities in them anymore. We can handle anything that comes into our arena as we wouldn’t have created a situation that we couldn’t handle. So, see the game through new eyes and reemerge! It’s time to learn how the creation process works. Before we begin putting all this into practice, you will need to join up as an adventurer and download our 7-Day Journal and Tool Books. Then you will have access to the entire library also. You will have to read through the rules of the game as well as these are helpful to stick to when wanting to create your arena. I don’t know if you’ve seen a film or read the book, entitled “Pass it forward”? It has a young boy who has an amazing idea...to serve an ‘act of kindness’ on someone he had never met before. Instead of wanting something back in return, the person who benefited from the act was to pass it forward by serving an act of kindness on 3 other people. Those 3 would then serve kindness on another 9 and so on. If this occurred every day, within 2 weeks, over 41/2 million people would have been served a random act of kindness. Can you imagine just how fantastic it would be if everyone on the planet knew that the game was an illusion and that everybody was really one? That by looking after each other and being kind to one another they were helping the human race progress forward? We have tried to include this system within our game, so please help us help you help everyone live a better life, by passing this book forward once you have read it, or point someone in the direction of the web site; www.lifesagame.tv Teachers have come along in many guises for thousands of years,

and we have quoted many in this publication. They have all been trying to tell us the truth about life, so that we can experientially find our own. It has only fallen on deaf ears because mankind has not been ready to understand. Other lessons had to be learned first. We are now at the brink of a complete shift in human awareness, and you have decided to live in these times, to witness this event. If the world did act as we have described above, or acted in line with the true teachings and meanings of Jesus, for example, instead of killing each other in the name of God to acquire wealth, control and power under the ego’s influence, falsely believing that they are separate….wouldn’t the game of life be an incredible paradise of an arena for all of us? “We would restore the planet to it’s original and perfect, beautiful clean state. War and violence would be defunct as we all worked together without the need of law and punishment. We would act as ‘one’ regardless of wealth or position of power. We would love each other and ourselves, being forgiving and generous, having fun together and enjoying states of high natural emotion. We wouldn’t be angry or scared, but understanding and safe. We wouldn’t mistreat or steal from each other but help each other achieve and be giving. We’d love our partners in deep and wonderful ways. We would feel safe when our children went out to play. We wouldn’t attract illness or stress. We wouldn’t have need for the indoctrination of a vengeful and jealous ‘aloof’ God.”

Well, one small baby-step at a time and we will get there, so please… Pass this book forward! Show others the truth about life.

“Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing happened. -Winston Churchill

The 20 Game Rules These following rules of the game, when stuck to, will allow us to enjoy an amazing experience within the game. You will achieve everything you desire and more. The tools are designed to help you progress but the rules are here to teach you ‘the way’. The rules will read as if spiritual in nature and that is because they are. You will find as you progress through the game that everything that is, is spiritual in nature and there’s no getting away from it. You will experience the unexplainable. These rules are absolute no matter which religion you follow or whether you are metaphysical or an atheist. Enjoy the following observations and incorporate them into your life. When you truly operate from these game rules, you will remember that no one can harm you and you cannot harm anyone. Fear will cease to exist and you can step back and watch yourself be, do and have anything you wish for. Along your adventure, all this will all of a sudden click into place and then it will all seem so obvious to you as you remember this information as if you’ve always known it. That is because you have.

1.

Ring true

This is the essence of life. The knocks we receive everyday are little tests to see whether we ring true to our true selves. We will always know when we aren’t doing the right thing or telling a lie. Even when we are going down a career path that isn’t right for us or lying to ourselves about a certain person or addiction. When we ring true, the game will run smoother. When we don’t, it won’t. transcending

the ego leads to our true selves.

2.

Keep on going

Always, no matter how many times you get knocked down, pick yourself up and dust yourself down. Keep on going! Successful lives were built on foundations of failure. It’s the failures that give us the correct knowledge. If someone hasn’t failed, how do they know that they are a success? We don’t get, if we don’t give and we don’t get anything by not taking action. Remember, if things get tough and what we are doing isn’t working, don’t ever question ‘why?’ Always ask ‘how?’ it is the difference between being a victim and the victor. Changing ‘how’ we do things gives us the power to find the answers. Don’t get bogged down with ‘stuff’! It’s all illusion. Learn what you need to and move forward.

3.

Do what’s right for the whole

Live with the idea of oneness. When we are about to do something, go somewhere, read something, build something always ask if it’s beneficial for you and everybody else. When creating, always try to create from the intention that you are doing this for everybody’s benefit and not just your own.

4.

Spring Clean

Throw away all your crutches! Don’t rely on crucifixes, the charms, the substances, alcohol, superstitions etc. They bind you. You do not need anything because you create everything. Trust in you as you are the power which is the whole of the oneness. There is

nothing more powerful than you in your universe, nothing! You attract everything to you. Your idols or crutches, do not. ‘False Idols’ take away your power by diluting your belief. Believe in yourself as the creator of your universe. You are all that is.

5.

Embrace tests and failures

Every individual aspect of the whole (people), is on earth to withstand great pressures and to be very well tested in order to experience and grow. Each embraced test leads to a feeling of immense satisfaction. It is a human beings job to do so. The more you deal with, the more you will grow and become more successful. Then we must pass it on, shine and teach through example.

6.

See the bigger picture

The petty and tiny insignificant annoyances we experience are like the tiniest of paper cuts. It may hurt a little at the time, but it is really nothing in comparison to the overall existence of the whole.

7.

Get metaphysical

There are many things that remain unexplainable, by science, in the illusion. However, the scientists are catching up pretty fast as they begin to understand how the universe is made up. Being spiritual or having a sense of it is not the same as being religious. You don’t even have to belong to a particular denomination or believe in God or a god, at all. Spirituality is about being connected to the whole. It’s about understanding oneness. It is being your true self and not your worldly ego, within the illusion. One consciousness means that

there is not literal death. There is no need to fear falling asleep when you know you will wake up. Death in the illusion is exactly the same. It is simply a doorway out. Religion uses the illusion of death and redemption in order to feed the ego’s needs and ultimately control what it thinks are the masses of separate people in the world. It is supposed to because it is a vehicle to teach us a lesson. The ego needs fear to exist. Your true self does not. Religion is part of the illusion. Indoctrination can be escaped and risen above. It is simply one of the many tests in our game. When we break free of the shackles of the illusion, we become extremely powerful, selfless and wise. Yet we must be grateful to the shackle and embrace it, for without it we would never have grown. Respect it, thank it and move forward. Your true self doesn’t need outside agencies to survive. It simply stands apart from the game, observing what’s going on with a big smile on it’s face knowing why they are all acting this way. Understand that there

is only one consciousness, a whole

abundance of dynamic energy, playing a billion different parts only to keep on returning to itself at the end of play. The avatar will cease to exist within the illusion, but in reality, we have grown and we are ready for the next level, whatever we decide that level to be. If you are feeling pulled towards the more spiritual nature of things, it may be wise to download and read the platform book to Stage 2 of the game, entitled; ‘The Spiritual Path’.

8.

Don’t become possessed

Owning possessions is absolutely fine and a wonderful thing, however, the ego can take us down a slippery slope. We can

become owned by them. We become owned by possessions, or possessed, when they start to take away our freedom. As soon as we start slaving for riches in order to keep them, they own us. We do not own them. The more of the now you spend earning money to pay for things that are depreciating, the more this cycle becomes another version of addiction. Again, it is a vehicle required by the ego to service a need. Always ask why you want the possession. If it is to create a ‘showy display of one’s means of life’, then wake up to the fact that no-one actually cares, and this attitude will only harbour resentment in others. It’s the feeling behind the possession that you really crave. What feeling are you trying to imitate? Understand the feeling and you have power over your decisions. Find out what other vehicles can give you this feeling. As you play the game, you will develop the skill of bringing any feeling you require to your avatar at will. You will not need external ‘things’ to do it. Storing up ‘treasures in heaven’ helps you to grow experientially and sets you up for the other levels (more of that in ‘The Spiritual Path’ book). Storing your ‘treasures’ in your wardrobe teaches you nothing, however it can be good for your self esteem. There is a lot to be said about rewarding yourself also. If you feel and look great, you will perform better. As with everything, treat possessions as a reward for your efforts. Everything in moderation. Don’t be possessed by your possessions, ensure you own them and not the ‘never, never’.

9.

Be childlike

Be like a child and open your heart to trust. Without trust, we will

never take a leap of faith and without the leap of faith, we cannot consciously create or grow. Belief and trust, or ‘faith’, will open up every door to every miracle you can imagine, literally. The illusion requires faith in order to provide you with miracles. In actual fact, miracles are happening around you all the time. You even being here is a miracle. Humans that are operating from their ego take everything for granted. When you genuinely start believing that everything is created by you, you are then controlling your game as a ‘master’. Being childlike and demonstrating wonder and faith and belief will start you off and small experiences, whilst playing the game, will enable your belief to grow. Be fascinated and excited. These emotions will give your creativity a boost.

10.

Remember to stay in the present

The past doesn’t exist and neither does the future. What happens and what matters is always in the present, because the present is all there is. It is always now. Never worry about the future, because it never comes. It is by consciously creating during the present, that will create your now moments to come. By making the right choices in the now, you will enjoy a better game. Occurrences like prison, divorce courts and custody battles, to name a few, all happen as a result of sub-conscious or ill informed decision making. We tend to listen to other people’s opinions, and of course, this isn’t our truth according to our experiences. We can only develop pure faith, through

developing

our

own

experiences,

unless

we

are

indoctrinated or brain washed, however, this is never 100% true faith. Remember that your outer arena is mirroring you. By changing

the inner you, you change your arena. There are no problems in the now. We may dread the perceived future, but this only serves to create it. Negative thinking, or the dwelling on it, creates problems or constantly feeling guilty about the past, re-creates the problems. However, by concentrating and focusing on the now, we find that there are no problems, only creation. Think about it, right now in this very moment, what is the problem occurring in this very moment? Whilst you are reading this sentence, what is happening that’s a problem? Surely this problem is sitting in your mind worrying you that it is going to happen, but it isn’t happening right now, is it? The ultimate aim is to not ‘do’ anything at all, but to just ‘be’, however we have to have a starting point and it’s now.

11.

Overcome egotism

This is the whole point to the first level of the game. We shall discuss what the ego is in the final sections of this book, and it would be wise to understand what the ego is. We must also understand it’s opposite, the true self or higher self as some people call it. Life is about giving and showing love to other aspects of the whole, who are ourselves. We must contribute to others feelings and emotions in an extremely positive way, so that we are a joy to be around. By focusing on others and the greater good, we move away from the selfish ego and this is one of the first steps to transcending it. When we do give, we must not expect anything in return. We may receive in return, but it shouldn’t be the intention behind our giving. This is a tough step to conquer, but by practicing, it becomes second nature, eventually.

12.

Never attack

If the actions of another irritates you or hurts you, or if you are upset because of a perceived injustice, do not attack. Revenge is not sweet. Always remember to look in the mirror and try to understand why this is occurring in your arena. Always realise that this ‘lesson’ is meant to be, and in reality, these hurtful people are really your friends who love you dearly but have agreed to act out this part. Remember, it’s an illusionary game, it isn’t the reality of who we really are. The key is getting your mind to a level that you don’t even have harmful thoughts toward your aggressors. This is what was meant by; “Turn the other cheek”. We also have to remember that we have agreed, at some level, to be the mirror for our aggressor and that we are teaching them a valuable lesson. There is a saying; “The angel of death doesn’t like his job, but someone has to do it.” this is why we should never harbour guilt over our past actions. We must learn by them and improve in a positive direction, being grateful towards them, but never be sad about them because they were meant to be. They had to happen. We must be grateful to our aggressors and they will be grateful to us once they have been defused by kindness. There is another saying that states; “An answer when mild, turns away rage.”

13.

Make wise choices to improve the now

When we get stuck and confused, not knowing which direction to take, then it would be wise to use the tools that we provide you with when you start playing the game. When in doubt, don’t make a decision rashly. There is a reason behind your doubt. It is your

avatar telling you; “Be careful.” Go inside yourself, and talk with your avatar. Listen to the inner voice of your higher self. Close your eyes and notice your breath. Focus on the now. Centre yourself and attempt to remember that it’s now and it’s a game. What is the lesson here? How would my true self respond? What would love do? What feels true to you? Most of all, display patience. When the answer doesn’t come instantly, let it go in complete faith. Trust the universal mind to show you the way. It most certainly will and this will serve to build up your belief in the game. It will show you the way through your inner voice, or a dream, or through signs such as the lyrics in a song or in a book which you come across. It may not be the way you want to go, but it will be the right way.

14.

Know what real love is

Love without wisdom is not real love. It is emotionalism, which will sweep you off your feet. Real love forgives ALL things and endures ALL things. It does not brag. It doesn’t pity itself. It is given without expectation of any return. Anything else is born from the ego and not the true self. The ego’s version of love is always selfish or the acts of love have selfish intentions. Relationships that are being run by the ego will never work and will only serve as valuable lessons. Real love never fails. Love is the miracle cure for everything. Love is the most powerful energy in the multi-verse. It is your superpower and will always triumph. If you apply love to any issue that you have created, by having it as an inner attitude, then any problem given patience and faith, will be solved in the right way which is for the greater good. Love does not control. Love is never afraid. It’s real.

15.

Never fear

Let love rule. There is only your universe, within the multi-verse. The ‘kingdom’ is inside you! You are the centre of it and you are it’s creator. It’s your game. Whenever you experience fear, it’s only ever a fear of the unknown. Or you may have seen something that you don’t want to happen to you. Gaining accurate knowledge dispels fear. Love dispels violence, in the grander scale of things. If we didn’t create the fear in the first place, it wouldn’t exist. Understand this; fear when it exists because of your creation, is your friend in the disguise of an enemy. It is there to help you and direct you, that is all. It is your version of ‘Michael and the Dragon’. It is your ego attempting to make you believe that your game is real. Life is about transcending the ego, or as was depicted by defeating the dragon and casting it out of heaven. In your game, fear is the dragon you must slay, or rather the main superpower used by the ego. How do we slay the dragon? How do we combat the breath of fear (not fire) that it uses to destroy you? Un-create it by showing it love. Embrace the dragon and show it love. Fear is the last enemy that you will have to defeat. When you do, you will have 100% belief and will be able to perform miracles at will. Your fear is simply your shadow self, your inner demon. Be grateful to it and to those who brought it to you, slay it with love and move on. How could we ever grow if it wasn’t for fear?

16.

Create with passion

We are about to go into the creation process in the next section. It is wise to remember that it does not discriminate. Creation has no

opinion, as it isn’t an entity. It is a power used by the entity. Be under no delusion, thoughts most definitely become things, both negative and positive. The intention behind your desire sets the process in motion. Belief in your ability to create your desire combined with the leap of faith, will bring it into your arena. Don’t be too attached to your desires. Be passionate about them, but let them go, ‘to grow’. We must allow the arena, the illusion, to form itself naturally and too much thinking about our desires can distort it. Be passionate and create the feeling behind the desire.

17.

The rule of 3

This is a simple rule and is absolute. Every action you take, upon having the intention, will be multiplied by 3 and returned to you in some way or another. If you commit to an act of unselfish contribution without expecting return, the illusion is designed to reward you threefold. However, the consequence of having negative intentions and actions toward others also multiply by 3 and are returned to you. Bearing this in mind, it will help us question our intentions and keep on the right side of creation.

18.

Sow what you wish to reap

Remember, like attracts like. You do reap what you sow, without question. Whatever you want, in life, always be it first. By being, you will be receiving. If you want to receive love, then be love to others. If you want to receive money, then give money to others. If you sow ‘unhappiness’, then you will be unhappy. This rule combined with the rule of 3 should enable us to keep our thoughts pure and our

actions, straight. Always say what you mean and be honest and this way, people will always be honest with you. Cheat on your partner, and your partner will be at some point, be ‘cheating on you’ or leaving you.

19.

Always study

Always set time aside to go through the Life’s A Game personal study library or keep up to date with your favourite authors who exist within this genre. By keeping submerged in this enlightening information, we reduce the risk to being sucked in to the illusion and allowing our ego to take over again.

20.

Group together

Make sure you group together. In other words, socialise with other players of the game. This most certainly stops the ego causing you to slip into illusion. We have set up a site where you can interact with each other, chat online or meet up at our quarterly social and seminar events. The events are described at the back of this book and are a lot of fun! Very informative and enlightening, but always doused in fun!

Creating Abundance When do we know we are ready to be a success? Are there any signs? What is your idea of success? Do you believe it’s within your capabilities? When we are born, when our avatar turns up, we all have a whole life ahead of us and we coast through learning life lessons and slowly will be directed to what our purpose is. It is so much easier, to become a success, when we are working hand in hand with our purpose. Our purpose, is usually what we are drawn to and what we develop a passion for. This area is where we will excel as humans and be at our ultimate level of skill and communication. It is a lot more fun, here in the game, if we have an abundant avatar. To become abundant, we must follow a system which works for everyone, no matter who they are or where they are, at any time. If you make the true decision to become abundant, then it is your time to be abundant. We are going to discuss the actual secrets behind creating abundance. When we begin transcending the ego, it has symptoms! Negative thoughts become positive ones. The mind becomes clearer and calmer. Thinking simplifies, having a starting points, destinations and solutions to perceived problems. Panic ceases to exist. Doubt gives way to certainty. We will no longer experience guilt, shame or regret. You see, when we begin ‘becoming’, we realise that there is nothing we should be feeling guilty about because everything that’s happened was meant to happen for our growth and for the growth of the others involved in the event. In fact, we should show gratitude

for this event, then move on. We begin to see problems as solutions, even seeing opportunity in them. We start to feel more secure about ourselves. We begin liking ourselves and develop a feeling of worthiness. We will start showing our perceived enemies, love and understanding. We will even try and help these people who haven’t begun transcending the ego, as yet. Safety becomes the feeling of our environment. Loneliness becomes a thing of the past, as we attract people and situations to us which will help us get to where we desire to be. We start trusting others because we understand the bigger picture and that whatever happens, was meant to otherwise it wouldn’t have. That said, once we become aware of our creative powers, we won’t allow the illusion to dictate it’s form to us as we command it and not the other way around. Struggling will transmute into allowing. Other aspects of the whole will feel like the closest of family and we begin seeing the comedy in life. We start recognising beauty within everyone and everything. Aggression will melt away, as will jealousy and envy. Instead of ‘mine’, it becomes ‘ours’. We stop telling white lies and the need to lie at all will dissipate because we begin to understand that we are only lying to ourselves. Deceit becomes unthinkable even for the manipulators who were once led by their ego, but have gone through so much that they ‘saw the light’ and began to transcend. We act from the level of love, knowing what true love is. We stop complaining and getting upset at circumstances. We take charge of our game and, yes, we become a success. When we recognise the above, in ourselves, this is when we can start creating, as our intentions will be right and our belief will be

strong. What we sow, we most definitely reap. There is a process, however, to creation and this process must be both understood and not taken lightly. The effects of the wrong intentions, for example, can have devastating effects for the whole and ourselves. Some would argue, “Well, it was meant to be that way”, and they would be right, however, this does display the attitude of the ego. Our true selves want to get it right, so that our ‘being’ can transcend and thus, ascend. (More on this in our Stage 2 book, ‘The Spiritual Path’). Understanding the following information, will give you all you need to begin creating, and in some circumstances, re-creating your game arena. Creating from the correct position will ensure our creations remain true and ‘actual’ because they will be fluid, in motion, growing and for the good of the whole. Remember that we are all one and that everyone shares one consciousness, even though we have our experience which has been compartmentalised. We only need to be able to move the illusion’s energy of form from one place to another. Understanding that our avatars and everything within the arena are all made up of the exact same energy, shows how we can move energy as we do this every day. When we desire ‘things’, believing that we already have them, opens a doorway to the state of ‘expectation’. We expect to see it. The question is then, where do we look? Well, what we desire is already there! We just need to look through new eyes and in the right place. Lets use the internet as an analogy of how it all works. The internet has made the world an incredibly small place, depending on how you perceive it. We can access any piece of

information on any subject we so desire. We can order from the internet and ‘things’ appear on our doorstep, once we’ve paid the bill for it. The internet is a tiny replica of how our one consciousness works. We can tap into the universal mind for anything we desire, and we do this unconsciously all the time. However, when we develop the ability to do this consciously, we begin performing what some would see as ‘lucky events’ or even miracles. We only need ‘ask for it’ and we will be shown in some way, where it is and how to get ‘it’. It’s one mind, after all. Our mind. Because we have already let ourselves know what we actually want, it is important to trust that it’s on it’s way and try to take a leap of faith by knowing it’s coming, therefore stopping continuously thinking about it, as this can delay manifestation, even distort our original desire. We have to let it go and the signs will come. Consciousness has four dimensions. One of ‘being’, one of ‘feeling’, one of ‘thinking’ and one of ‘doing’. It is these four dimensions that make up experiential activity. Creative seeds are sown in our ‘being’ dimension. They are watered with our ‘feelings’. They are nurtured with our ‘thinking’ and we reap our harvest once we have been ‘doing’.

“When praying, ask for what you want, believe you already have it and it is yours.” - Mark 11:24 This scripture would suggest that in order to have something we must perceive that we already have it in our possession. How is this

possible? This is the first ‘truth’ about our creation process…

We get what we desire, by giving it away. By giving it away, we will attract our gift back to us, 3-fold. How do we give it away, if we don’t already have it? Well, remember when we said that we are all made up of the same energy? Examine what it is that you really desire. Lets use the materialistic desire for money, which is a perfectly fine desire to have. Lets say, you desire £1,000,000. A million pounds! If you haven’t got this in the bank, how can you give it away? You can only give away what you believe you already have. Examine this deeper. What is the million made up of? Paper? Or simply figures on a computer screen? It is only a value, isn’t it? We don’t really need the paper or the figures on the screen. It’s ‘why’ we desire the million. What is it for? Ask yourself, what do I want the million for? Is it to buy a house? Perhaps to buy an extremely expensive sports car! Both are perfectly fine desires to have. However, go deeper. Why do you have these desires? Remember these are only manifestations of desires, caused by the transmogrification of the illusion’s energy form. Why do you want the house? Is it to feel secure? Is it to feel accomplished? OK, why would you want the very expensive sports car? Is it to feel significant? Or, to be accepted by a certain peer group? Everything we desire, in the illusion, sprouts from one of our ‘pesky needs’, usually being egoled. However, it always boils down to the feeling we want to achieve behind the desire. This is the pure energy form of the manifestation

and without the ‘feeling’, the manifestation would be pointless and therefore would not exist. So, the million pounds, in it’s raw form is the feeling of security and significance, as well as acceptance, in our example. Therefore, we believe we have it already and give it away first by giving away the ‘feelings’ that are behind our desires. We must enable another aspect of the whole to feel secure. Or we could give a family the gift of feeling significant. Or we could make a lonely individual feel accepted. The more we do this, the more our reward will develop into pure manifestation. It will then appear in the illusion in whatever way the arena shows it. This is where we look in expectation. We look around the arena for signs, coincidences and synchronistic events, which will lead to the physical representation of our desires. The rule is that we reap what we sow. We receive a multiplication of what we sow back, both negative and positive and these are managed by our original intentions. So lets examine the creative process, as all the gifts we can give may be useless if we have the wrong intentions and we could cause more harm than good. When we go through the creative process, we begin by thinking about what we desire. We have an emotional need. We begin to visualise having this need met, or attaining this desire, in our minds. We manifest it in our imagination and begin to attach emotions to having this or achieving it. These desires may be small, in nature, like a watch or a TV, or they could be ‘perceived’ as massive such as a new partner or even a new home. Whatever they are, they begin somewhere, in the universal mind, just as a tree comes from a tiny seed. Once we have planted this seed in the mind, it is our

job to then give it the best chance of growing. By attaching emotions to this seed, we have queued it into the universal mind which we all share, and on some level that our avatar may not understand, are all made aware of this desire. Behind the scenes, things begin to move and take form, including people putting themselves into certain situations or positions in order for this desire to manifest within the illusion. Before we learned that we were in control of our game arena, we were creating our lives without conscious choice and these creations would have given us both negative and positive results. The seed of our creation is given life on it’s journey of growth with a mixture of two elements, which are our ‘intentions’ and our ‘emotional needs’. We often think that it’s the object that we desire or the person that we want. However, as is with the case of ex-partners that we find it hard to let go, it is always the emotional need attached to it or them. We translate this need as the object or person, however, it boils down to feelings, yet again. Our true self doesn’t need anything and therefore would be prepared to let the ex-partner go because of the love that was once there. Our ego’s selfishly wont let go. When we do display outwardly that we crave certain things, people, addictions, it shows that we are ego-led. By recognising this alone, we can begin transcendence. However, remember that our ego has to be in play to a certain extent, because we are in the illusion to play this game after all. We just have to get that degree of ego, down. A healthy, wealthy avatar, gives us a much better game experience (on the face of it) than a poverty stricken one. However, on other levels, this statement could easily be switched around,

especially when it comes to spirituality, as one scripture says;

“It is easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of god.” This means that people who are possessed by their possessions and only slave for materialistic things will find it difficult on the spiritual path, because they are a slave to the ego. Of course it’s OK to be as wealthy as you desire, and be spiritual at the same time, as long as we are not slaves to our ego. It just doesn’t work. Getting back to the creative process, the important thing to remember is that the desire we have comes along with an intention. This intention is for us to have an experience and there are 4 types of experience that our intentions shall bring. These are the 4 types of experience, born from intentions…

It feels good for you but is not good for others

It feels bad for you but is great for others

It feels bad for you and is bad for others

It feels great for you and is great for others

Obviously, it is the latter that we require and this is where we should aim our intentions, always thinking from a win/win perspective with any situation. When it feels bad to us but is great for others, this refers to self sacrifice and should be respected. When it feels good for us but is bad for others is when we don’t care about others

feelings as long as we are OK. This is the ego. When it’s bad for the whole, don’t do it at all! People will, however, as we have touched on before, and they will to reach an emotional need. People use ‘vehicles’ to reach these needs. This is how they take action. There is a scale to desires and consequential experience. This scale goes from horrific to fantastic experiences. Usually when we choose enough bad vehicles, thus having many bad experiences, we will learn to change these vehicles being motivated away from pain and towards pleasure. It can be very tough, making these decisions, but hopefully along with your coach or with the online support as well as the tools that we give you, you will master the creative process. This is the ‘Creation Equation’… A negative intention will always result in a negativ e experience and n e g a t i v e consequences that we shall have to deal with. However, p o s i t i v e intentions always result in reward and wonderful experiences of growth. There are no wrong choices, only experience….

We develop a desire…. +

GROWTH

As an interesting note, if we have a bad experience or if we can’t seem to manifest our desires, working backwards through the equation can be invaluable, so keep it handy. If we are held back, as a consequence to our actions, then the experience wasn’t a beneficial one. Perhaps we begin to doubt whether we can indeed create our desires. Belief is vitally important. If we do not believe that we can do it, then we can’t. We will always be right. If we say we can’t then we absolutely can’t. If we say we can, then as long as there is a will, there will always be a way. Maybe if our experience wasn’t what we expected or wanted, then maybe the action we took or the vehicle we chose was the wrong one. We can take this all the way down to intention, really identifying which part of the process we may be getting wrong. So, to recap. The creation process is a lot more complicated than just simply asking ‘the universe’ to give you what you want and then waiting until it comes to you. This will never happen. The process has to be worked. There is another famous scripture that can be used here, with this in mind;

“Faith without works, is dead.” Here we see that with all the belief in the world, nothing will manifest without the leap of faith, or the action required to attain your goal. To ask and wait is like having a phone line open to your business, and you are waiting for it to ring, without advertising what the number is. There are no short cuts, only the process. Don’t get me wrong, the

process can be faster for those whose faith is absolute. Those masters who have the best of intentions and the greatest of expectations, who exercise true faith through taking massive positive action, will achieve everything they so desire extremely fast. Also remember that the illusion is all about perception. It’s generally how we see things that gives us the experience of it. Without our brain’s to interpret the waves of vibrating energy, nothing would exist as we know it. This energy can be formed by thought, motion and deed. Once we realise this, then we can adjust our lives so that the creative process is always in play. If we desire something, examine this desire to find out why, first of all. Once we know why we desire something, is the intention behind the desire a positive or negative one? Is it sacrifice, or selfish? At this stage, we can already predict the experiential consequence if we decide to take the action. If we do decide to proceed, we must demonstrate that we belief, entirely, that we command the illusion and that we create everything that is in our arena. In fact, we are everything within our illusionary arena. We demonstrate this by giving away what we desire. We cannot give something away that we don’t already have, and it’s the belief that we are everything on a grander scale that delivers our desire like a parcel in the post. We know that matter is all made up of the same stuff, therefore we examine the why, again, that is behind the desire. What will this desire do for us, once we attain it? What feeling will it provide us with? Which emotional need is it meeting? Once we know the answers to these questions, we give to others the exact feelings that we are attempting to conjure up in ourselves. Knowing that ALL

the other aspects of the whole (people) are US, then we do truly already have our desires if we see that someone else has attained it. By giving others the feelings associated with our desire, we put the rule of 3 into practice and the illusion will bring us those feelings back, multiplied. We may not achieve the object we desired, sometimes, however the emotional need will be met. At other times, we will receive our original desire. Whatever is the best and easiest course for the illusion to manifest it’s form so that it meets your needs, is the route YOUR universe will take. This is how we create. Just one vital and last point on creation, to make. Remember when we said that something cannot exist without it’s opposite so that we can have a comparison. Well, responsibility is required, when creating, because along with our desires, we create inadvertently, it’s opposite. When we are transcending the ego, we see this opposite for what it is and can easily coast through the difficult events, knowing that the reward will quickly follow. When our ego is in control, we shall only see the bad times, worry about them more and more, thus creating more bad times. So, if you are trying to create the million, to use our example, and you get hit with a load of bills, then now you know why. The trick is to pay them all with a big smile on your face, in full expectation of your reward which is just around the corner. Always act ‘as if’ until the ‘if’ happens. Never think that your creation is not on it’s way. It always comes as long as we don’t delay it or cancel it due to our negative emotions. Stay positive and see the bad times as the doorway to the great. The peaks always follow the valleys! So, give it a go and enjoy the process. It is a game after all!

The Ego & The Obstacles As with all games, it won’t be too easy. There has to be a level of difficulty in order for us to feel accomplished by the end of it. As we mentioned earlier, the ego is necessary for us to be able to play the game, at all. The ego is programmed to be selfish and self absorbed. It doesn’t know the truth about life. The true self does not liaise with the ego. The ego, therefore, believes it is truly alone in the world. This renders it incredibly insecure, it having inherent emotional needs. The ego will do anything to achieve these needs, even at the expense of the avatar’s health, wealth and happiness. A personification was made, for the ego, many, many years ago. The following quotation will give you a hint as to who or what this personification is…

“Pleased to meet you, won’t you guess my name? But what’s puzzling you is the nature of my game!” - The Rolling Stones Those lyrics were from a song entitled; “Sympathy for the Devil”, and this too is a deep subject which fills many books. The Devil is the personification made for the ego, thousands of years ago, by people who needed to blame the mistakes humans make and the negative acts and outcomes that we experience. The ego is inside all of us, and is one of our two masters. By the end of Stage 1 of the game, we will have transcended the ego, leaving us united with our

true selves, our reality and true master, us! However, we need the ego to experience the illusionary world at all, because in the same way that opposites must exist to release possibility and comparison, the ego has to exist so that we can compare it to our true selves. It gives us a starting point and a platform for us to work away from, thus giving us the target of where to work towards. Lets just go off on a momentary tangent, for a second, and discuss one of the most celebrated teachers of the past 2 millennia. We are going to use Jesus as an example, because so many atrocities are committed in his name, in our present day. Whether he existed or not is irrelevant to the game player, however, the teachings that he was supposed to have taught, or a very powerful tool for the game player to transcend the ego. He spoke of ‘The Kingdom’, a lot! The Kingdom is the state of true being. It is where we came from and where we shall return to. It is the source of all things and all that is. It is our one consciousness and where it exists which is everywhere and anywhere. He knew what the illusion was and that we had to wake up from it, as he said; “Be in the world, but not part of it!” He knew that being part of the world was being led by the ego, as Peter was when he was conducting a pointless ego-based argument. Jesus said; “Get behind me Satan!” Obviously, Peter wasn’t Satan and

The

Devil

wasn’t

present.

He

was

referring to the

personification of the ego, which would be more understood by his followers during this time. Another very important point to make, is that whenever there is an example of healing within these ancient texts. Jesus never cured someone and said; “God has made you well” or “I have made you

well”. He always said; “Your faith has made you well!” This is because we command the illusion through our belief in the whole. If we believe it, it is already ours, remember? The ego doesn’t want us to know this. It thinks it is pure folly and will try to convince us of how silly it sounds. However, we were even told how to break the bond that exists with the ego, when he said; “Meditate, meditate, meditate on The Kingdom.” He said it 3 times for emphasis. This means going within to work out the secrets of life. We already have all the answers, we only need to remember them. We will as we play the game and transcend the ego through having experiences which point to the true self. True belief comes from experience. Not someone else’s experience, but our own. Our mission is partly to experience what we already know, as our true selves existing in oneness. Imagine having all the knowledge that exists, which is ever expanding with possibility, and not being able to actually experience it or go through it. By creating the physical illusion, we can turn that knowledge into wisdom, by experiencing what we know, from a state of forgetfulness. For example, it’s great to know what a kiss is, and we can imagine it in some graphic detail, however, we have to create a second person to experience it properly, and what a difference that second person makes! It is exactly the same but on a huge scale with the whole of life. We create the ego to experience. We transcend it when it has completed it’s job. We transcend the ego, by using it’s own built in need and that is the need for growth. It will eventually out grow itself. So, our avatars were created to experience our knowledge through

ascending through levels of awareness and emotion from the incredibly painful and higher to the ecstatic. The ways of the ego, to keep us in a delusional state, within the illusion, are a necessity and none are wrong as all our paths will lead back to the same place, no matter how many times we return to the illusion. (More in our Stage 2 books). We must be aware of these ‘tools’ and tricks in order for us to keep on guard. The ego can be amazingly subtle and is very cunning. The ego has been likened to a wolf in sheep’s clothing. We can always uncover the ego, by questioning our true intentions before taking a course of action. Reminding ourselves that we are playing a game, lifts us to a higher state of awareness, immediately. Then, going backwards through the Creation Process will enable us to steer clear away from our ego-based existence and transcend to a higher existence. The ego believes that it is separate and inferior to others. It may work at trying to be superior by belittling others or winning at all costs. The ego is under the illusion that we are all separate entities living our own individual lives. If only it knew! It believes that the illusion is real and solid. It believes it can be hurt by situations and people. It actually believes that it was born by chance and that their sperm that beat untold millions and millions of others, created their consciousness. It wouldn’t matter which sperm won, as there is only one shared consciousness because we are all that is. The ego thinks that it’s consciousness is it’s brain and that is the extent of it’s size. It believes in coincidences, trial and error and survival of the fittest. The ego needs to be accepted by others as well as the need for stability

Benefits Of Becoming A Member The book you have just read is the platform book, or the introductory book to our on and offline community. The platform book leads into a personal study library which is listed at the beginning of this book. This is Stage 1 of the game. Stage 1 helps us to see how we control exactly what course we desire our lives to take. We develop an understanding as to why we are here, what it’s all about and how we can maximise our experience of it, the it being life! Stage 2 goes deeper into the subject matter of the game, proceeding down more of a metaphysical theme. It explores the reality of the spiritual side of life, encouraging the reader or gamer to find their own experiences and their own truth about life. The library is only a study aid to the game. When you begin playing, you will require the following…

A Fully Working Membership Card with Password

The Platform Book; ‘The Truth About Life’. (Leather Version Available)

The 12 Niche Area Personal Study Books. (Included In Leather Version)

The Tool Books. (Leather Organiser With The Tool Books Available)

The Game Board (online or offline. Offline recommended for presentation or group work)

The Directional Cards (online or offline. Again, Offline

recommended) 

The 7-Day Journals (A New Blank Version, with Personal Used Copy for presentation)

Access to the Social Network Site (Lap Top/Tablet/Smart Phone, if available)

ALL THESE NECESSARY PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE AS DOWNLOADABLE VERSIONS, AS WELL AS USABLE ONLINE, WHICH ARE FREE TO MEMBERS! THE OFFLINE VERSIONS ARE AVAILABLE AS GIFTS THROUGH OUR ONLINE SHOP.

The Personal Study books are designed to be used by both ‘working members’ and ‘adventurers’ alike, at whichever time they choose. It is not necessary to read all the personal study books before beginning the game, however, the platform books must be read in order for the nature of the game to be understood. The Platform Books for Stage 1 and 2, will not only explain the belief system behind Life’s A Game, but also present the possibility that YOU are creating your whole entire experience, here in the world. Things aren’t happening to you, you are making them happen with your beliefs, thoughts and actions. The Truth About Life and The Spiritual Path Books, will explain all of this, but not entirely. Just enough for you to understand the material and make a decision, whether at this stage or not that you are going to take the information literally or metaphysically. Either way, it works. You can be, do and have anything and everything you desire. It’s just your ‘belief’ that we will be working on, by taking you on an experiential ride through your own life, playing your life, from afar, as part of a social network and reality game.

Once this book has been read, you may decide to venture down the ‘rabbit hole’ a little further by reading the personal study books which are designed to be read over a ‘coffee-break’. You may decide to research this information yourself, or try to experience it for yourself. Whichever way you go, your life will change. You will start to shed your limiting beliefs and disruptive acquaintances. You will begin to improve every area of your life, as we guide you through using tools and setting goals to ‘better’ yourself and get you to where you desire to be. You will make like minded friends in the process, even meet your future partner, if this is one of your goals in life. Our social network is designed to support each other and help each other achieve. We host 4 quarterly ‘Seminar and Social Events’ which are a combination of ‘Stage 1’ game players and ‘Stage 2’ players, who have ventured further along the Life’s A Game path. These events occur over a weekend and are residential. We will have an introductory dance as well as a ‘sit down’ dinner, a ‘shopping experience’ alongside the networking breakfasts and seminar program. We consider the attendance of these events, essential to all serious ‘gamers’. Up to date news and further publications will be distributed to all seminar attendees, which will not be available to those that ‘missed it’. Once you have downloaded and read the free Platform Book, ‘The Truth About Life’, and have decided on which ‘Niche’ Personal Study Books would help you most, you will have a ‘ladder’ that you can progress, should you wish to use Life’s A Game as a career or

business. (This is completely your decision and if you want to stop working with us, that’s fine to, as this option is totally optional and flexible.). If you
