Amongst the products at ISE 2010 from Intensia are: inTouch L - designed as the main control panel for the Intensia home automation system, this 17 inch touchscreen displays intuitive icons and straightforward menus to give complete functional control of the system. A light touch brings the inTouch L to life and the pre-defined menus can be navigated to adjust the specific settings of the lighting, heating; access systems etc., as well as checking the status of any function or facility including security cameras. The inTouch L also gives full access to the multi-media services in the home. Music or movies can be selected from the media server vaults and movies can be viewed on the screen or any other screen in the home. You can even access preset internet content such as news feeds or weather forecasts. This 17 inch touch control screen is housed in a bright polished aluminium surround and is sized at 40 cm by 40 cm and less than 7 cm thick. The inMedia; a multi-media server with a generous storage capacity, and housed in stylish brushed aluminium enclosure 45cm wide. In addition to the storage of audio music tracks; movies and photo images; the inMedia connects to the internet to access RSS news feeds, weather forecasts, radio streams and more, all of which can be accessed everywhere in the home. The inMedia is easily controlled from Intensia inDial L or inTouch L touch screens or you can even watch a movie or internet content on the inTouch L screen.

The new inControl L panel - With its surface of borosilicate glass in a bright polished aluminium surround this product simply oozes quality. Advanced touch sensitive technology allows the user to gently stroke the panel to reveal the functions after which a light touch activates the chosen function. Each function is revealed in the language of choice and, after use, the backlight fades away automatically until the panel is touched again or until a message is received. An invisible temperature sensor turns the panel into a room or zone thermostat allowing the user to adjust the heating or air conditioning system. An infra-red receiver and transmitter are hidden behind the glass so the panel can be used to remotely operate equipment in the room or two send the commands from most handsets to another location. The inDial is a discreet alternative to the stylish and powerful inControl L panel. It features the same surface of borosilicate glass in a bright polished aluminium surround but with a rotary control. This control dial is another multifunction feature - it can be used to scan the media server to choose music tracks; radio stations; etc., and then when the source is selected it will revert into a traditional but precise volume control. Housed in the Intensia borosilicate glass panel in a bright polished aluminium surround, this docking station links through to the InControl L and inDial L touch panels to allow music selections based upon album, artist, genre, track or play lists, from anywhere in the house. This elegant docking station is operated by a powerful microprocessor and is sized at 12 cm by 12 cm to fit into the standard mounting box used for all intensia panels. inSight L colour screen displays crisp and clear images behind the borosilicate glass panel. When integrated into the access control system, the screen can display the image of the visitor after which a light touch on the panel will open the gates or doors. This miniature control screen is housed in a bright polished aluminium surround and is operated by a powerful microprocessor. Sized at 12 cm by 12 cm it will fit into the standard mounting box used for all intensia panels. The inSense - movement sensors are an essential part of any home automation system yet all too often they are quite industrial in appearance spoiling the design lines of the room. By contrast the Intensia system is designed to enhance both traditional and minimalist interior designs and its movement sensor continues that theme by being both small and virtually invisible in use. The circular panel is a mere 45 mm in diameter and protrudes just 4mm from the mounting surface. If desired the sensor can be mounted flush to the wall or ceiling surface and painted (except for the tiny sensor lens). With a 90 degree viewing angle and excellent sensitivity even the smallest of movements in a room can be detected. And through the use of software settings the response time can be adjusted to an optimum setting.
