Ready for the Unexpected; Featuring a Dress and High Heels Men don’t understand what women live. They have to be housewives yet look fabulous. When your man comes back from work you don’t want to make it look like you’ve been working on a meal all day even if you have. So here are a few tips on how you can seem like you make it all work, even when you don’t. First, always keep a pair of heels near you around the house, this might sound ridiculous but women always look classier with a pair of high heels. Second, always wear a dress around the house, during the day when you're alone you can even wear it with running shoes, or flats, no one would notice! Shop around for comfortable dresses that are elegant. Third, start to prepare your meal the day before so you can spend time doing other things during the day, such as reading a magazine or watch your favourite television show. Fourth, wear gloves! It makes everything look fancier, even when it isn't.

Ask Marilyn?
We all know you love shoes, especially high heels, which designer is your favourite? I love Salvatore Ferragamo, he makes shoes that are very personal for many celebrities but that everyone can recognize. In my case my favourite pair that he made for me were the red stilettos that are covered with jewels. They were influenced by the Ruby Slippers that Judy Garland wore in “The Wizard Of Oz” that were also created by him, he is simply amazing.
I've seen “The Seven Year Itch” and I loved it! You're white dress in the movie that you wore above the subway grate, who designed it? Did you like it yourself?
Ohhh, thanks I am really proud of this movie. This dress to me was so beautiful. It is so simple and could almost fit to any body size! A designer named William Travilla designed it , I think he really found a way to target every great part of my body, which made his dress and my body both look exceptional
1940’S Shoes were basically very chunky in the 1940s. Because of the war many products that were typically used for shoes were not aloud anymore. The type of shoes that would be considered chunky today would be platform and wedges, which were often very different from what we see today. Shoes were made to be more practical than fashionable in the 40s. If they were actually nice looking they had many characteristics of a shoe that would be used to work, such as a strap around the ankle or for example a wedge that only had a cork. In this shoe featured on above, made by Salvatore Ferragamo ,a designer that was widely know in the 40s, there is everything that the 40s are known for today. Sandals, wedges, straps , and an open toe shoe all in one single actually shoe.
1950’S In the 50s stilettos and pointed shoes were very in. The most famous look of the 50s came with Dior, he made these shoes that were very simple, yet very feminine. After the war in the 40s this was fashions way of telling women that they had to go back to the household instead of working. This look was very popular back then and Roger Vivier was a designer that was very recognised in the 1950s he was actually the first to be associated with the concept of the stiletto.
Dior's “new look”
Roger Vivier design for Dior Music influenced many styles in the 1950s,celebrities,movie s,television shows were often fashion icons, especially for teenagers, it was at this time that teenagers became an actual target market for selling anything basically that their favourite icon because they follow TV ,celebrities, music.
