Super Summer Soccer
During the summer holiday period, our football provider CUFA conducted a series of highly successful half-day soccer camps.
DRILLS FOR SKILLS

Camp day started with an early drop off between 8.30am and 9am, before the actual camp kicked off at 9am and kicked on till noon. Upon arrival, the children were brought to the weather-smart and air-conditioned Swiss Club’s indoor hall in small groups of five, in compliance with the ongoing social distancing rules.
The camp started with warm-up routines, agility exercises and drills for skills such as passing and receiving, dribbling and shooting. The CUFA coaches helped each child to reach their daily skill target by demonstrating each drill and supporting the player to execute each drill, then repeating each set. The aim was to get the players to feel comfortable demonstrating each drill to their peers.
Sufficient hydration breaks and rest times were built into the programme. CUFA provided fresh fruits, prepared and packed in individual portions by the Swiss Club chefs.
After the snack break, the players demonstrated their newly learned skills in a 1v1 and 2v2 playing format.
SELLOUT SUCCESS
The fun-filled and action-packed CUFA football holiday camps were sold out after a few days. The stress-free, friendly and educational camp experience resulted in many players repeating the camp and booking two or three weeks of the CUFA football camp. Thanks to all involved, players and parents, for the tremendous support.
We look forward to the next CUFA football camps in October and during the Christmas holidays. Do register early to avoid disappointment.
Meanwhile, stay healthy and keep playing.
