Year 8 -Studio Arts The Visual Arts is a critical way in which we communicate and express meaning in the world around us. Students build on their awareness of how and why visual artists realise their ideas through different visual representations, practices and viewpoints. Students consider the qualities and properties of materials, techniques, technologies and processes and combine these to create and produce solutions to their artworks. Year 9 - Studio Arts - 1 or 2 Terms The Visual Arts is a critical way in which we communicate and express meaning in the world around us. This elective is designed to help students grow as an individual artist, the expression of ideas and a process for examining identity, through a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography film or sculpture.
