Course Options Year 10 Computing A Year 10 course for students who have an interest in computing, coding, analysing data and cyber security.

VCE Unit 1 & 2 Applied Computing (Accelerated) Students have the option of applying to undertake an accelerated VCE study of Unit 1 & 2 Applied Computing in Year 10.

Understanding the roles of hardware, software and users in managing and securing data over networks, including the internet.

2. Programming Developing problem-solving and programming skills in the context of a commonly used object-oriented programming language (OOP) to produce software solutions.

Acceleration Criteria •

Prerequisite: One or more of Year 8 Design IT, Year 9 App Enterprise, Year 9 Game Design Studio.

Endorsement for acceleration from above subject teacher.

Minimum C+ average in Year 9 English.
