Education is offered from Kinder to Year 12 across our campuses in Belmont, Highton, Waurn Ponds, Drysdale, Scotsburn and in the future, Torquay. The recent introduction of the Christian College Institute of Teaching and Learning expands our education offering to the Tertiary level. 2016/2017 Events Calendar The Annual Music Evening Costa Hall - Deakin University Thursday 13th October, 2016 The Annual Christian College Music Evening features 300 plus student performers and an audience of College families and music lovers from our region.
The Annual Art, Technology & Design Extravaganza ‘Villa Paloma’ Christian College Senior Art Campus Wednesday 9th November to Saturday 12th November, 2016 This College Major Event showcases art, design and technology students from Kinder to Year 12. Held over 4 days, the event is a draw card for College families, staff and friends of Christian College, as well as artists and art lovers from the Geelong region and beyond. An official opening brings the College and wider community together with Council representatives and local leaders at the ‘Villa Paloma’ to celebrate the achievements of our young people.
Year 12 Graduation Ceremony Costa Hall - Deakin University Sunday 20th November, 2016 The Year 12 Graduation Ceremony honours the lives of our students as their time at Christian College Geelong draws to an end. Staff, students, dignitaries, invited guests and families reflect upon our young adults and celebrate their educational journey.
The Annual Presentation Evenings Waurn Ponds Senior School, Presentation Afternoon - Wednesday 30th November, 2016 Bellarine Junior School, Presentation Evening - Monday 5th December, 2016 Bellarine Middle School, Presentation Evening - Tuesday 6th December, 2016 Highton Middle School, Presentation Evening – Wednesday 7th December, 2016 Belmont Junior School, Presentation Evening - Thursday 8th December, 2016 Your support is reflected at the Annual Campus Presentation Evenings held at Costa Hall Deakin University and the Playhouse Theatre, GPAC. Five official ceremonies celebrate the achievements of students from all Christian College Geelong campuses, recognising academic excellence, attitude and effort, and citizenship.
The Musical Production The Playhouse Theatre, GPAC April 28th and 29th, 2017 Following the success of our past College Productions such as ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Seussical the Musical’, in 2017 Christian College students will again take to the stage of the Playhouse Theatre, GPAC, presenting three performances over two days, showcasing many talented students from Years 4 to 12. This very popular event connects with families, students, staff and the general public.
The Christian College Debutante Balls Christian College Highton Sports & Aquatic Centre Friday 26th May and Saturday 27th May, 2017 1000 plus guests celebrate the Christian College Debutante Balls over 2 evenings in these highly anticipated social events. Connect with College families, staff and the Geelong and wider community as we unite in these formal and ceremonial occasions in the life of our College.
