Reconciliation Camp (Tabitha-Belgium) - 2016
Working as a kitchen porter in a busy café trained me in effective time management, cooperation with others and a willingness to pitch in with other duties as required. I volunteered as one of the EU participants in a reconciliation camp between Israeli and Palestinian teenagers. The purpose was to assist with effective communication between the groups, help them find common ground and build bridges in an area where tensions run high.
