Christians for Israel
Christians for Israel (C4I) is a non-denominational movement. We believe that God is still faithful to all His covenants with, and promises to the nation of Israel. Christians of all denominations and backgrounds should be united in their love for the Jewish people, in their support for the nation of Israel and in their collective repentance because of Jewish suffering throughout Church history. Our mission is to bring Biblical understanding in the Church

Introduction

The more one studies the history of the Jewish people, the more one is struck by the veracity and authenticity of God’s Word. And therefore how relevant God’s Word is today. God is a God of history. He is moving and shaking the nations towards the fulfilment of His purposes. We all have a role to play. The Christians for Israel ministry is called, firstly, to help Christians ‘re-understand’ our identity as wild branches grafted into God’s olive tree - in which the Jewish people are the natural branches (Romans 11). As Christians we need to understand that we have not REPLACED Israel, rather we have been ADDED to the ‘commonwealth of Israel’ (Ephesians 2). There is a HARDENING IN PART over Israel ‘until the full number of the Gentiles has come in’ (Romans 11). And, secondly, we are called to enable Christians to comfort and strengthen the Jewish people in their hour of need (See Isaiah 40 and Romans 11).
Leon Meijer Chairman
Our ministry is rapidly developing day by day. One senses urgency in the need to get this message spread around the world. For example, our regional office in Kampala is working with key leaders in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia and South Sudan, while the regional bases in Australia and New Zealand are developing networks in Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Cook Islands and other nations in the South Pacific Rim. In Asia, the Philippines is developing as regional hub for outreach into many nations in Asia. We have established an office in Brazil that forms a base for outreach into South America. This Annual Report provides an overview of the activities of Christians for Israel International (C4I) from 1st January to 31st December 2015. Also included is the Annual Financial Report for calendar year 2015. Specific details about the activities and financial results of the national ministries are available on request. Our global ministry is entirely dependent on gifts. We greatly appreciate your continuing prayer and financial support.

Christians for Israel A global movement
Annual Report 2015
Our vision is to create a worldwide network of local C4I organizations and partners that are effective at the local level and financially self-sustaining, and which seek to fulfil the same mission, vision, values and beliefs.
7 We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, through which He reveals His loving purposes for all creation. God chose the nation of Israel as His instrument for the blessing of all the nations. The Bible teaches us that the Church has not replaced Israel. God’s covenants with the nation of Israel are everlasting. We support Aliyah (immigration to Israel) from many countries in the world, including Former Soviet Union, India, Ethiopia and France. C4I helped 130,000 people to build a future in Israel. We comfort the people of Israel from all populations in Israeli society: Jews, Druze, Christians and Arabs. We do this by feeding the poor, helping Holocaust survivors, educating children, supporting Jewish communities in Judea & Samaria, and supporting and encouraging Arab Christians in Israel.
We help and encourage Christians to pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem, by sending prayer letters and organizing prayer meetings. Christians for Israel brings numerous groups to Israel and wants people to experience the true heart of Israel, by meeting the Israeli people as well as visiting interesting sites. Through our tours we want to encourage the people of Israel. Christians for Israel supports the State of Israel and the Jewish people, by opposing disinformation, anti-Zionism and antiSemitism, and fighting the boycott of Israeli products. We do this by providing accurate information regarding Biblical, legal and historical issues to Christian leaders and media channels.
C4I International - a non-profit foundation established under Dutch law – has four main tasks: 1. To give overall leadership to the global C4I movement in terms of mission, vision, values and beliefs; 2. To equip, encourage and strengthen the C4I Affiliates to become/remain effective and financially self-sustaining; 3. To develop and disseminate core educational resources; and 4. To pioneer the bringing of the message into new geographical and language areas.
Christians for Israel International
The C4I Affiliates contribute annually 10% of their ministry income to finance the work of C4I International. In addition, C4I International obtains financial support from donors and sponsors.

Global Prayer Call Conference in Jerusalem May 2015 From 10th to 12th May 2015, about 400 participants from over 35 nations of all continents came together in Jerusalem in order to look back to the 100 days of prayer and (partial) fasting, bring this period to a close and ask the Lord for how to keep up the prayer momentum for the nations in their relationship to Israel in the future. During these days, there were many presentations, times of corporate and group prayer, and worship. Harald Eckert called for the praying Church around the world, to understand the signs of the times and continue to seek the Lord as to how to keep the momentum on prayer for Israel and the nations alive and growing.
Supporting Aliyah and Humanitarian Projects in Israel Christians for Israel International partnered with the national Affiliates in 2015 to raise funds for the following projects: Bring the Jews Home - Aliyah and Integration • Ukraine: The Land of the North • India: Bnei Menashe • First Home in the Homeland Education Survivors of the Holocaust (Shoa) Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria Feed the poor Shelters in Ukraine for Jewish refugees
Aliyah For many years now, Christians for Israel offers assistance to Jews to go to their Homeland Israel. We believe it is our Biblical task to assist the Jewish people with their return to Israel. After 2,000 years, there is finally a country that the Jewish people can call their home. Since the mid 19th century, and
especially since the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, millions of Jews in the Diaspora have decided to leave their country and make ‘Aliyah’ (literally: ‘going up’). And this return to the land continues to the present day. The prophets of the Old Testament tell us that the Jews will return to the land from the four corners of the earth, in preparation for the coming of Messiah. We can see these prophecies being fulfilled before our eyes. Since 1997, Christians for Israel has helped more than 150,000 Jews home to Israel from the Former Soviet Union, Ethiopia and India. Education in the land We find it very important that the Jewish people are aware of their Biblical roots. Many Jews in Israel know little of the Bible. We therefore support several projects that encourage Biblical teaching. Among them are the Center for Jewish Studies in Savyon, the Hineni Center in Jerusalem and the Jaffa Institute in Beth Shemesh and Jaffa. Through these projects Jewish children are shown that God is in an eternal covenant relationship with the Jewish people, and that He loves them and will be faithful to His promises towards them.

Jewish Communities in Judea and Samaria Judea and Samaria (often referred to as the ‘West Bank’) is the birthplace of the Jewish people. We believe that, while foreigners are also allowed to live there, Judea and Samaria are part of Israel’s inheritance. We help to build communities in the heartland of Israel. We help to feed the poor, contribute to medical help, and invest in the future of youth who need assistance to stay on the right track. Through these projects we share a message of encouragement and comfort. Feed the poor Israel is known for its prosperity, economic stability and high standard of living. We often do not realize that there is another side to this as well. It is the harsh reality of poverty and hunger in which hundreds of thousands of Israelis live every day. Many Israelis depend on charity projects. Christians for Israel wants to help the poor of Israel, by providing them with food. We do this in partnership with the Hineni Center in Jerusalem, headed by Benjamin Philip. We also provide food to children at the boarding school of the Jaffa Institute. The Jaffa
Institute currently helps about 4,500 children. Shelters in Ukraine for Jewish refugees In May 2014 the first Jewish refugees came from the East of Ukraine to Kiev and ‘knocked’ on the doors for help! They were fleeing the war that had broken out. At first the refugees were sheltered in different places all over Kiev. Later C4I Ukraine rented two huge places in Dnepropetrovsk. These shelters have been set up in cooperation with the Jewish Agency, and the Christian Aliyah Alliance Ukraine (of which Christians for Israel is a part). Christians for Israel also has its own ‘shelter’ in Kiev, which accommodates up to 40 Jewish refugees. Most Jewish refugees stay in these shelters between two weeks and a maximum of two months. In this time, we help them get their paperwork prepared in order to make Aliyah.

Survivors of the Holocaust (Shoa) The Second World War ended seventy years ago. But for most survivors the Holocaust (Shoah) never ended. The trauma that the survivors struggle with on a daily basis is amazingly deep. Many of their relatives were murdered during the war. To make matters worse, there was no understanding of their trauma after the war or people did not believe what had happened. Some survivors were unable to function normally because of the deep trauma, and ended up living in poverty. Today, these survivors are living with the immense pain. The survivors are now elderly, and there is a growing demand for practical assistance. C4I International supports various projects in which assistance is provided to survivors of the Holocaust.
