The emotional and human burden of this project tries to dignify the stay of its users and their activities. Thus the composition of spaces ensures safety, security and real refuge. The massiveness and formal forcefulness seek to convey a sense of collective union against adversity. Essentializing each activity.

My project proposes three very compact container volumes that hold the three uses. The piece of refuge (sleep) perches on the other two (eat & dress) acting as an indispensable base. These rectangular volumes on access floor develop the three required areas and are served by permeable servant bands which organize and engage in common interstitial space.

A plot between party walls with an interesting orientation hosts a unique experimental housing project. It consists of the combination of a residential program and library / historical research. My proposal breaks with the existing orthogonal distribution of structural walls, to work on diagonals that invigorate light and create visual focuses. The warp serves to generate a guidance throughout the project. The elevations and proportions seek the correct urban insertion among the neighboring houses.

Extension project for the National Sculpture Museum Valladolid, Spain
analitic rendering of the proposal
The proposed program involves the extension of the National Sculpture Museum to store, repair and expose Easter Polychromed Sculptures and various sculptural copies. I propose an extrusion of an U container section, horizontally and vertically, for both stores, creating two volumes always visible to each other. Each volume adapt its levels to the scultoric groups which contain.

existing urban planning
The introduction of the railway in Valladolid in the late nineteenth century created gaps in the existing urban fabric today. The objective of this project is to improve one of these gaps, sewing the breach among the train station, the city center and passenger transport. The proposal consists of three different applications: shopping center, railway museum and bus station, linked to the train station. access floor
1st floor
2nd floor
My choice pursues a nuclear arrangement from which three annexes emerge: shopping center, museum and large lobby. The bus station settles in basement floor for better traffic management and to free ground zero. The concave shape articulates and promotes the nineteenth visual focus: the of the train station main building.
