Curicculum Hello! Vitae My name is Christie Melea Barlianto, I’m from Indonesia. I was born in Jakarta, 28 November 1995. I am 20 years old right now. I have a great interest in graphic design, vector art, and UI/UX design.

I’d like to learn about new things and willing to learn about things I’m interest in. I don’t get easily bored and give up with things that I do, I always work with heart and commitment. I also in love with music and love to play piano.

Packaging

Minyak Telon Njonja Meneer

This is my first packaging redesign project. For this project, I change the target of the market, from mother to children. The concept for this project is to introduce Indonesian children about Indonesian culture. I made an interactive form for the packaging so the children will like the packaging and they’ll always remember to carry minyak telon wherever they go.

Citra Kemasan Lapissa, Project with Gambaran Brand 7

Citra Kemasan is a project to build local brand to be better than before. The concept that I made is to represent a “lapis legit� that fresh served by a young beautiful mother from Indonesia.

I made a window for the packaging so the customer can see the “lapis legit� without opening the packaging. For this project, I made tissue packaging, paper plate packaging, and knife packaging for the extension.

Homicasa Website - UI/UX Design Homicasa is an e-commerece that I created with my team. Homicasa provides online services to order houseware faster and easier than shopping at the real shop. Homicasa sells minimalist housewares, so we created a simple and minimalist design. The process is started with Market Research, Persona, Wireframe, Sitemap, and User Journey.

The house form is to represent “Homi” and the form in the center is to represent “casa”.The logo simply represent about House and warehouse, which means Homicasa is a warehouse that provides houseware for all houses.

Piece of Cake Mobile apps - UI/UX Design

Piece of Cake is a startup application that I created with my team. This application provides baking tutorial and sells the ingredients according to the recipe. So, the application will help users and customers to bake more easier and reduce the numbers of failure. The process is started with Market Research, Persona, Wireframe, Sitemap, and User Journey.

We chose Piece of Cake for the name of the application, because we want the users to have an optimisctic that baking is easy, and the level of the difficulty is small as a piece of cake. So, the logo is simply to represent the meaning of Piece of Cake.

Appy

Character Design for Animated Character and Sticker for Chat Application 13

Appy is a character design for animated character project and sticker for “Line� chat application project. Appy is a happy little girl that wearing an apple costume. She will brighten up our day with her bouncy appearance and cheerful attitude!

Sing Your Season Musical Apps

This is a project that I created with my team. Sing Your Season is a musical apps for kids. With this application, kids will learn to sing 4 simple songs. All of the songs is represent a different feel and cheerfulness in every seasons

With this application, the user can sing with the interactive objects that will animate if the user touch it. The children can touch almost all of the objects in the screen, so it will be more attractive for children.

Pixieville Font Modification

Pixieville is a font modification that I created from Baskerville Typeface and one of decorative element from Indonesia. Pixie means fairy or elf, and Ville (from Baskerville) in French means city, therefore Pixieville means a city of fairies. I named it Pixieville because the form is very girly, feminine, and represent a fantasy and fairytale impression.

This is a project to make my own logo. “Cm” is from my initial name: Christie Melea. I created this logotype from Didot Typeface. It’’s represent feminine and girly character.

Jendela Budaya Social Campaign 21

This is a social campaign project for AMAN (Aliansi Masyarakat Adat Nusantara). The purpose of this campaign is to reintroducing about Indonesian culture to the young adult in Jakarta. All this time, almost all of the young people in Jakarta doesn’t really know about their own beautiful culture in Indonesia, it’s like they’re color blind. So, I chose Jendela Budaya for the title of the campaign, because through this window and AMAN, people can see the beautiful culture in Indonesia.


I made several supporting items for this campaign, such as print ads, brochure, billboard, banner, calendar, pin, notebook, flashdisk, t-shirt, totebag, etc.

Jingle Your Way Sugarpot Wax Campaign

Jingle Your Way is a collaboration project to make a campaign for Sugarpot. Sugarpot is a waxing jam which can be used wherever we want. The big idea is to make a cover competition, but not like a usual cover. What special from this competition is the participants must use the voices from waxing while they’re singing. The purpose of this campaign is to educate the girls that waxing isn’t that bad, and with waxing, they can be free to do their activities without afraid of hair anymore. The song for the jingle is an original song that we created together. I worked together with one of my team to compose the melody. For the lyrics, I worked together with all of my team to compose the words. The title of the song is “Be Hairless Be Free�.

Photography AXE Print Ads

This is a collaboration project to make a similar photo with AXE print ads. We take all of the photos, from model to object, all by ourselves. And then we unite and blend it with photoshop.

Isometric Design This isometric design is represent my dream room. It’s a girly room with a pink piano in the center of the room.

Album Redesign 1989 - Taylor Swift

I used “Spontaneous Optical Column Grid Deconstruction� for the grid of this project. The grid is controlling the shifts between column areas so that reading order can be maintained, rhythmic, from left to right. This old-style concept design is inspired by a buildings in New York City.

Typographic Poster Hardwork is really important for us to reach anything that we want, so I made the hardwork as the emphasize of the poster. I choose golden for the hardwork to represent the valuable of hardwork. And black for the background to represent an elegant impression.

Political Poster This poster is about an article from Indonesian newspaper. The article is about Jokowi and Prabowo that shaking hands and greet to each other after the election ends. This poster is simply represent that number 1 (Prabowo) and number 2 (Jokowi) is a unity, and can be together as 3 (1+2) as noted in Pancasila, “Persatuan Indonesia�.

Personification Print Ads The concept is about a single tease banana girl that available and open to dating people. That’s represent how tempting and delicious are the banana, even it’s just a single banana.


Metaphor Serial Print Ads Injection and infusion are identical with people who got limp and lack of energy. So, I mix Milo with injection and infusion to represent that Milo is a drink that can refill our energy.

Copy Based Serial Print Ads This ads is simply represent that you need a gold one, like Ferrero Rocher to get the one you love.

Books and Which This is a collaboration project for business that I created with my team. We made notebook that looks like the real sandwich. We choose vector to represent the fun and cuteness from this notebook. For the illustration, I made the cover, lettuce, and cheese design.

DVD Cover This is my personal project to make my nephew’s birthday documentary. After finished the video, I made this DVD Cover design. The concept is about Elena as the Little Snow White that very happy in the delightful and beautiful forest.


Kopi Jantan The concept is about how strong is the man that drink “Kopi Jantan.� He looks like a strong eagle that can make a woman feel to be in the most beaufitul place in the world.

Brand Logo Beras Toho Sadaniang

This is my first project to make a brand logo. Beras Sehat Toho Sadaniang is a local rice brand from Toho & Sadaniang, Pontianak. The value of this rice is this rice is an organic rice, without pesticide, produce by local communities, which means it’s very natural and healthy. The logo is represent a healthy rice from Toho Sadaniang.

Illustration

This illustration is represent about Malaysia that claim Reog Ponorogo as their culture, but Indonesia can’t accept that, so Indonesia is trying to fight and claim back.

This illustration is illustrate a chart about Hours of Sleep of baby. It’s represent about a baby that sleep so tight like he/she is sleeping in the beautiful cloud and sky.

Bathaholic Calendar Bataholic calendar is a collaboration project. Bathaholic is a leader in aromatherapy and spa products in Indonesia since 2006. After 10 years, this is the first time for them to have their own calendar. 41

They want to introduce their various types of diffuser and aromatherapy. The illustration is shows that Bataholic can be use in every room and every moment to make us feel relaxed. I made 4 from 12 of the illustration.
